I saw the reviews for this place and thought i would give it a try. I’m a sucker for tacos. I was not impressed, the meat is marinated (spicy pork) and not fatty but it tasted bland. The price was higher then other tacos stands I have tried: Taco $ 1.50, Quesadillas $ 4, Burrito $ 5, Torta $ 6. Also, there was not a lot of toppings like cabbage, radish and etc.

Good and cheap! The chicken was great! I love that it is being made fresh. Always a good find for Salt Lake after a concert or just a night out.

This man is working for the money. He is on a corner grilling up some fresh meat. The meal was cheap, delicious, and worth the walk around the corner. Give him a try and tip him well.

Awesome tacos. I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food but I’d eat here everyday. Like mentioned before, the topping variety is limited, but the price is awesome and all their taco flavors are great. They also take credit and debit cards, which is definitely a plus.

Taco carts are awesome… and while Cesar’s lacked the toppings that other local carts have (cabbage, lettuce, variety of salsa), they still deserve 5 stars. And if you want more than $ 1 Tacos, they offer $ 2 quesadillas, $ 3 meat quesadillas, $ 4 burritos, and $ 5 tortas.

Having just come from the Bay Area I have been trying to find the right taco stand for the last three weeks. This is the place to go for awesome tacos. The shells were perfect, meat spiced nicely, and they had a full bin of jalapeños. Half the stands I’ve gone to here either don’t have the peppers or are out. My guess is that they close when it’s dark, so state street will have to be my choice for late dinner tacos for now. Kinda wish I had gotten a third one.

I love love love their chicken quesadillas with homemade pico de gallo (eek.i may need spell check). Ah this shall be my after-​game snack stop every time I attend a Jazz game, I LOVE cesar’s tacos!
