This store has the worst customer service, after speaking with Taylor this morning I will never use this location and advise those who are looking for an easy experience when placing large orders visit the Zupas in Cottonwood. They are very kind and very accommodating. There phone number is 801−944−0500.

This was my first time to this particular location. It is well placed right near an awesome renovated movie theater with leather recliners and a bunch of other shopping. There is also a candy shop nearby! I ordered the combo where you can get a full sandwich and either half a bowl of soup or half a salad for eight dollars. I chose the pesto chicken salad and the wild mushroom bisque. The sandwich needed a little bit of salt but was overall pretty good. They had sliced almonds inside which really added to the flavor. The bisque was amazing! It had big chunks of fresh wild mushrooms in it and was very creamy. Perhaps one of the most delightful surprises when going to Café zupas is that every purchase nets you a chocolate dipped strawberry. I can only think of a few better ways to end a good meal!

Seriously! A SMALL salad, a SMALL bowl of soup and a SMALL drink $ 12. Are you kidding? Maui chicken salad had 2strands of chicken and neither the salad nor the salad filled ½ the SMALL bowl. See a pattern. Talk about stingy and over-priced this one takes the cake!!!

Although the food quality seems good on the items this reviewer selected, the corporate feel completely ruins the dining experience. Other negatives include a portion measurement system that ensures top profit margin while providing diners with a less than satisfying amount of soups and salads.

Came here with my friend wanting something quick and a bit healthy. This place is a bigger zupas than others and it is also very crowded. I went for the strawberry harvest with chicken salad and their mushroom chowder. Let’s go to the reason why this place got three stars. While ordering the food I saw the waiting staff preparing the previous persons salad. That can be effective, but at the same time troubling. Here is why it is troubling. When I got to the cash register they seem to have forgot to make my salad. When I got my salad, they seem to have forgotten the chicken on it. So it was a bit troublesome. Now the salad itself was good. The soup I would have to say was delicious. They did give you a piece of bread and also a chocolate dip strawberry. All in all, I do like this place, but I might go to a different branch because of the waiting and the potential for forgotten items.

Food is pretty good for a fast food joint, but dang is the customer service bad. I think the worst of the things was that when I asked to speak to manager, TARYN informed me that she is the manager. I had several issues with the staff there before and when I finally was fed up and wanted to talk to someone about this, it turned out that the woman with the worst customer service from all of them, is the manager.

I don’t know what it is about Zupas and my coworkers seem to like to come here often for lunch parties but I can’t seem to get past how weird their meat seems to be? Anyone? Anyone? I’ve had better sandwiches else where but it’s a convenient set up and I’m sure I’ll be back either with friends or coworkers.

Bad experience this evening. Been eating at Zupas forever. However they were out of ice tonight. Didn’t say anything at the register we just found out we were going to have warm drinks when we arrived to the soda machine. Was in disbelief… my wife went to ask about it and they were all«yup we don’t have ice today». Plus we have been ordering the mushroom bisque for a long time and it didn’t taste right. Also ordered a sandwich to share, one side had all the meat and the other hardly had any. I what completely underwhelmed. Do yourself a favor and visit a different location. Management obviously slacking there.

I always love coming to Zupas for their awesome sandwiche and salad combo. I usually get the vegetarian sandwhich or ultimate grilled cheese with a fruity salad. Zupas is a great place to get an affordable and quick meal with friends. I also noticed the new healthy drink options they got! There is, however, one thing I would change about Zupas. I don’t like how when you get to the cash register, the employee asks what«you ordered for yourself.» After I make my decision at the beginning of the line I tend to forget what I chose. I think a lot of other people probably feel the same way. They already do a lot of communicating back there and I feel like they could change this part of the process.

i have read through all the reviews in this location. I was curious because I have done take out multiple times and wondered what others thought. Some reviews have talked about the small portions within the salads and soups. I decided to watch them make my salad today. I ordered the turkey bacon panini and the asian chicken salad. As usual, they quickly and accurately took the order and told me to head to the register where my food would be sent to meet me. I stayed and watched them make the salad. It clearly made them nervous. I was asked several times if I wanted to order soup, and told twice that my food would be at the register. Each time, I told them I was watching them make the salad. Each time, the employee joined in to make the salad; a total of four employees added ingredients to the salad, which was made correctly. I was amused. I don’t find the portions too small or skimpy. I never have and today was no exception. The sandwich and salad were tasty and filled me perfectly. I do find it odd that I seem to get the tiniest chocolate covered strawberry each time I go. My husband always gets a properly large strawberry. Aside from that complaint I have none. In regards to the employees, they always seem efficient and friendly, if not a bit socially awkward, which comes with their youth.

Third Zupa’s this week. I usually get their ultimate grilled cheese panini and soup. Love their mushroom bisque and tomato orzo with bread. Free chocolate dipped strawberries but they also offer cheesecake and crème brûlée. Parking at this location can be tricky and the interior layout is a little convoluted.

Zupas is just good, not great. I like eating here because the food is fresh and good, but they are stingy as HELL!!! They literally count how many HALVEDGRAPES they put on your salad. One scoop for soup, etc. they will charge you to add tortilla strips to your already measly bowl of soup. I mean it’s all really good food but you have to order a lot to get full and then it’s like just as expensive as a sit down restaurant! Just stop being so cheap Zupas. you’re always busy, so you obviously aren’t hurting for the extra 59 cents

Great food and great atmosphere. The staff is so friendly I always have a good experience. I love getting the pick two combo with a sandwhich and soup. They have a charging bar for your electronics and a large drink selection with syrup flavors you can add to make a custom drink. One of my favorite lunch/dinner spots.

I don’t if it’s just this location or all of the location has this problem. I ordered a cherry balsamic chicken salad and found only three pieces of thinly sliced chicken in my salad… It was more like a strictly vegan salad than a salad with meat. Other than that the salad was good

If one were to rate a place on interior alone, this is an easy 4 stars. It is filled end to end with very nice vinyl on the wall listing various ingredients and LED edge-lit acrylic signs, some of them on very nice satin aluminum standoffs from the wall and most in blue. It looks almost more, in some areas, more like a very modern bar than an actual restaurant and I don’t just mean the iZupa’s Charging Bar, either. Lots and lots of HDMI displays as well, all very nice-looking and all with various imagery changes. Combine that with a ton of plastic and lots of chrome and this has a very slick, very modern feel. They also have a very efficient sort of assembly line set-up, though the myriad of choices can cause lines with various indecisive patrons at the crunch times. They go slightly over the line and get into«too busy» territory with the visuals, which is why it’s not a 5 for interior, but décor overall is great. Food, however, not so much. This is a very unimpressive place, but one expects that, to a certain degree, from chains. My wife called the entire thing pedestrian, but it was more or less what I expected. So, I wound up with a piece cake still frozen in the center, but which was very bland in taste. Someone commented that what’s not to love about a chocolate-covered strawberry, but them not being in season and mega-sour comes nearly immediately to mind as answer to that posed question. I think we ate one of the three that we received. My son’s favorite part was the oyster crackers, which is about as ringing of an endorsement and overall summation of the meal as could be, I suppose. Both myself and wife(because she’s a copycat) ordered the Cubano. She ordered hers without the Dijon mustard, which they couldn’t bring themselves to do the first time, apparently. I never expect chains to do this sandwich right and kicked myself for doing it as soon as they brought it to the table. The grilled Panini part was fine, Dijon was questionable, sweetish pickles are dead wrong for this kind of sandwich and was by far the worst component, not only tasting bad but ruining every bite it was in. The ratios was also off for the meat. Generally 1⁄3 ham to 2⁄3 pork is about right, but here it was maybe 90% pork or so. That pork was also far, far too salty and my impression was that it was probably what they used for pulled pork, as Togo’s also likes to do. Staff was friendly, for the most part, but the inflexibility of being able to substitute various things into combinations was a pain. This is a corporate level thing, though and not related to this particular location. Would I eat here again? Possibly, but not unless it was very convenient, such as on a road trip at a time when I was particularly hungry, enough to sacrifice quality for speed. In many ways, this is like the Olive Garden of sandwich places, just not quite that crappy.

My husband and I come here all the time. I think the staff is very friendly and nice there! I love their yummy soups and salads! The only thing that really bothers me sometimes is when you want a little extra something weather its extra nuts on your salad or extra tomatoes or chips on your soup or salad they ALWAYS say, that will be extra, just for a TINYBIT! I think that is quite ridiculous! I go to a lot of yummy places that just pile things on and when you ask for extra they give it to you because they want you to keep coming back. Honestly if their food wasn’t so good I probably wouldn’t be going as often. But I love their soups and salads!

Zupas is awesome! My kind of a lunch spot. Many selections of sandwiches soups and salads. This place is delicious. Every order comes with a chocolate covered strawberry. Exactly what I was craving. This is My first time here. I’m from San Jose, Ca I’ve never seen a Zupas out there but I’ll look into finding one by me. I’d would definitely frequent this place.

I’m a big fan of Zupa’s. It makes me feel good. Their food is prepared to order and they use fresh ingredients. It’s fast food, at fast food prices, that doesn’t give me that guilty and/or sluggish feeling I get after eating typical greasy fast food. I’m sure they use all kinds of preservatives and I’m sure their meat and veggies all come from factory farms and processing plants, but at least it looks and tastes like real, fresh, food. Welcome to ‘Murica! This is how we do food, now. The servers and bussers here are always friendly and in a good mood. They give you free samples of the soup before you buy it, which is great, because most of the soups are WAYSALTY. My advice, get the«try 2» combo with salad and sandwich. Avoid the soup.

I wish Zupas had more locations than just Utah and Arizona! It’s a panera like concept with a subway feel. You can choose from their signature salad or create one yourself. Pair it with a bowl of their DELICIOUS soup(MANY options) or half of one of their sandwiches, and you have yourself a relatively healthy meal! I went with my friend while visiting him in SLC and created my own salad. The salad I created was OK and after like 4 ingredients you pay beaucoup more — so it may just be more worth it(wallet and taste buds) to get a premade one. I paired it with their chicken tortilla soup. Pretty sure I was LICKING every last drop! Holy crap this soup was delicious!!! YUM! They serve your meal with a chunk of their fresh bread(duh, delicious — who doesn’t love BREAD??) and a chocolate covered strawberry! delicious. The employees were friendly! The only annoying part was when the salad bar guy that kept telling me every 2 seconds that the next ingredient would be extra — I got that after the first 3 times you said it, thanks. I wasn’t under some delusional thinking that once I got to 3 extra ingredients, they would be free again. Overall I enjoyed this place and would constantly pick up food from there if I lived in the Sugar House area!
