These guys seriously are amazing! Called first to get a quote on a patch for a slow leak on one of my tires, low cost and promised a fast repair time too! Went in, no appointment necessary, got my car in and out in about 30 mins, saved my tire, and didn’t even charge me! Definitely recommend these guys! Thank you again.

when I needed new tires for my Subaru, they quoted me the highest price and said Subaru cars have only certain tires that will fit. Baloney!!! The weren’t willing to talk with me about other lesser priced tires and dumbed me down, perhaps because I am a female. I took my business to discount tires on van winkle and they gave me great service and got a great deal with a rebate. Those three salesmen at the front desk of Burt Brothers in Holladay cater to the male affluent clientele in the area!

Don’t ever go here to this fraudulent, overpriced, slow shop! Terrible service, arrogant, ignored me for 3 minutes when walked in to their shop for the first time. Quoted me 45 min for only emissions test and license plate renewal. I explained I did not have 45, but 30 was the max amount of time. They checked with the mechanics and assured 30min till complete. I waited 30 min. .45min…questioned them multiple times. They said each time almost done.. then they came back stating it failed their visual inspection even though all cpu tests passed. Refused to refund my payment. My car had never failed an IM/​Em test in 7 years. I immediately drove to another shop which passed my car within 15 min.

When I lived in Salt Lake City this was my go-​to place for all of my auto maintenance needs. I’ve since moved away but today I’m in SLC again for a quick visit and had a check engine light come on. I walked into the shop this morning and nearly 4 years after the last time I was here Jake still greeted me by name and remembered what car I have. This is the main reason I loved having my service done here, but the fast, inexpensive and quality repair job helps too!

Probably the best safety and emissions experience I’ve had!
I usually just got to jiffy lube because they are everywhere but decided to go to Burt Brothers because when I called around they had the best price. (about $ 12 cheaper than jiffy lube). I just walked in and the staff was so helpful and friendly. They got my safety and emissions down super quick and had a nice large clean waiting area for while they were working. Whenever I go to jiffy lube, even if just for a quick oil change, they come back with a huge list of problems I need to fix on my vehicle — $ 7 to top off this fluid, $ to top off that, $$ for something that will need to be replaced very soon, and so on so on. Not only do they give me a huge list of added expenses but jiffylube always pressures me into paying for they extra things that don’t really need to be done or sometimes just do them with out asking and tac on the cost. Burt brothers was the complete opposite! My back brake pads failed safety (new this would be the case) and they gave me there quote and said I could think about it and stop back by anytime if I wanted them to do it-​no pressure. They gave me my paper work with out trying to upsell me on anything and I liked that they didn’t try and take advantage of the fact that Im a female and don’t know tons about cars.
They are great! I would highly recommend them! They can even renew the registration on your vehicle after doing safety and messions

Went there for oil change and tire rotation, staff was very friendly and offered honest advice, didn’t try to upsell me on the oil type when I told them it was a lease.
They were super friendly, and tire rotation was included in oil change, plus their price was waaaaay better than jiffy lube!

Only good for tires. Service is a scam or incompetent — I didn’t stick around long enough to figure it out. I was told, after triple checking their work, that I needed a very expensive alternator. I took if to the dealership and they said no repair was needed and that I simply let my battery run down too far (kids left lights on overnight). Be very slow to trust their «expert» opinion. It is yet another scammer in Utah business. What is up with this place. Darkness!
