Brio’s Tuscan Grille provides a higher end atmosphere with good, friendly service. Their menu has a good selection of Italian dishes with a nice variance in price range. I would say the quality of their food is A good bit higher than average. I frequent both locations in Salt Lake, the city Creek location, as well as the fashion Place location, and they are both consistently good. Depending on what you order they are comparable in price to Olive Garden, although Brio’s has much higher end dishes that do cost more. Given the choice between Brio’s and Olive Garden I’ll take Brio’s every time. For a corporate restaurant they are actually pretty good.

Rarely do I give a 5 star rating. This place deserves it. Perfect service by Anthony for our large group and excellent food. Wish the tirimisu was better, but I helped my neighbor with the fantastic chocolate cake. Also, the waiters having numbers on their name tags was a little disturbing, nazi-ish. They should change that practice.

Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful service from our waiter Josh! We loved it but it was a bit noisy because everyone was here having a great time!

I Took my lady to Brio Tuscan Grill at City Creek for Mother’s Day. Upon arriving, we parked below City Creek and parking was free for the first two hours and it was fairly easy to find a parking spot. We took to elevator up to the street level and the restaurant was easy to find being that it was right across the street from the Cheesecake Factory. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we let the hostess know that we had made reservations for 630 p.m. and we were seated fairly quickly. Our waiter was on point and very prompt. The layout and the atmosphere was very soothing and comfortable. I ordered the Campanelle Carbonara which consisted of Grilled chicken, crisp bacon, Parmesan cheese, sautéed spinach and creamy Alfredo. I ordered my meal without spinach. My lady ordered the Lasagna Bolognese Al Forno which was Oven baked and layered with authentic Bolognese meat sauce, Alfredo, Ricotta and Mozzarella. The food we would give a 3 since we have had better Italian food in Salt Lake but the restaurant layout I would give a 5 out of 5. Great staff and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, this was a great experience and a great restaurant that we will be trying again in the future!

The atmosphere seems more fancy and professional than casual, but I do think that the place could be brighter by opening the curtains. We really love the pasta dishes and salads. Each dish has its own unique taste that does not disappoint! We always get the fried eggplant dish(I apologize for forgetting the name) for an appetizer and a selection of 2 pasta dishes and maybe a salad. They also give you a small basket of bread and butter before the meal. Overall, the food is slightly pricey, and not for light casual meet ups but for occasional family dinners.

I’ve gone here a few times now and each time I leave feeling satisfied. I could eat the caprese salad as an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The lobster bisque actually had multiple chunks of lobster, which seems to be difficult for many restaurants these days, so that was a pleasant surprise. The Fashion Place location has a peanut butter chocolate pie thing that was delicious and they should serve at each location! Really nice atmosphere, and the service has always been great.

I love this place! We started off with the spinach artichoke dip and we devoured it. I had the Tuscan salmon Fresca and it was light but filling. The sauces were to die for and I ate all of it. My husband had the chicken Alfredo dish and said he would come back because he enjoyed our meal so much. We will definitely be back.

This place is great for a business lunch. They accommodate a larger group easily and are very attentive. I’ve not had a bad experience for lunch and have enjoyed my meals. They have italian fair with a upscale twist. The Shrimp Mediterranean was delicious. They validate for parking at City Creek too. I would recommend them over other pricey options at City Creek.

Came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The nice thing about this place is that there’s a private room that you can reserve to host just your party. We had our own room, away from the rest of the restaurant where we were able to have cake as well. The raspberry mojito was good, and their sangria rosa is also tasty. What I have a hard time about this place is the pricing and the food itself. The portions are pretty big(everyone had something to bring home) but the food reminds me of cheesecake factory. Large portions, but no real flavor. I ordered the shrimp mediterranean and it was only alright. The shrimp was a little bit overcooked and the rest of the dish needed more seasoning. This place is fine for a large party get together because they accommodated us great. The service was fine and our servers were nice. All in all, I wouldn’t come here on a regular basis, but every once in awhile is fine.

Thank you for making my last night in SLC special. My plate was delicious beyond words. The staff was super friendly and the chef took time to come to the table. Overall amazing.

This place is good. Little over priced especially for lunch. Lunch took a long time. They were super busy. It was over 2 hours for our party of 8 to eat. With that said. I never had to ask for a refill of my drink and she was working super hard to make it quick as possible. But still 2 hours… Hire more people. We were placed in the strangest place and it was super cold next to the door. I do like how they have a light menu to order from. I really like the wedge salad. Probably my favorite wedge salad around town. I got the chicken Marsala and it was tender. the veggies were cooked great and the potatoes were nice and creamy! I will go back. But next time. Not have them sit next to the drafty door and hope it doesn’t take 2 hours to be served and eat!

Came here with my coworkers for a orientation lunch. We got a special room that the hostess Called it the chef room, I think(also no idea why it is called that). The room was awesome. You get to sit in a circle and face each person, so it is kind of personal. I ordered the sweet potato and chicken risotto. Looks very delicious but it was a tad bit too salt for me. I also felt like they super soaked it in gravy which wasn’t that good. I don’t recommend this dish. But the other dishes that my coworkers got looked very delicious and they said it was good. I would definitely come back here to give it another chance(maybe for a date? Lol). The staff there is super friendly.

This is a nice classy restaurant at the end of the City Creek Mall across from the Cheesecake Factory. And even though it is a bit on the more expensive side, it was pretty good! The guys serving us were very friendly and attentive. However I did feel like it took forever for them to come and get our order. They filled up my drink multiple times before I was able to order my meal. They brought out some really delicious bread while we waited for our food and that was great. I ordered a steak salad which I thought was good, even though it wasn’t as great as I was hoping for the price. It was good don’t get me wrong, I just was a little disappointed. Everything looked so good and I felt like maybe I just ordered the wrong thing… I hate when that happens. The food tasted fresh and was all cooked really well. The plates all around me looked very delicious as well. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. It felt very classy and was overall a pleasant experience. But it is a bit expensive and I am not one hundred percent sure it is worth it.

The food is ok. Similar to Cheese cake factory. Had the pesto chicken with quinoa salad and a few bites of the fried calamari. The food is too salty. Ended up drinking a lot of water and not sleeping well. Need I say more.

This is my second visit to this restaurant and yet again was pleasantly«treated» I was promptly seated and the waiter was diligent throughout the meal. The table bread includes a crusty loaf with tender interior and zesty crispy flat bread. I had the three course meal deal. I started with Ensalada Bisteca, this is a wedge salad topped with a creamy parmesan dressing topped with blue cheese and crispy bacon. The entrée was crab crusted salmon served over a mixture of quinoa and faro and grilled vegetables. For dessert I had the mascarpone cheesecake. All this dishes were well executed and very delicious.

After several more visits to Brio, along with excellent customer service from the GM, I’m ready to raise my opinion of this place. The new management at this location has really turned things around, in a good way. It’s not that Brio was ever awful; it just wasn’t worth the price and was very hit-or-miss. The last few times we’ve dined here, things have gone perfectly. The food always arrives promptly and the drinks always flow freely. I’ve made a point to try different dishes on every visit and I haven’t been disappointed with anything. The wedge salad is one of the best I’ve ever tasted and all the pastas are cooked to perfection. We always request Joey as our server, if he’s working, because he rocks! He’s friendly, efficient and has incredible customer service skills. Keep up the good work Brio! Cheers!

Nothing special. Brio lies as an extension of the City Creek Center which I do not find that appealing in the first place, but as I was extremely hungry and without Internet connection to navigate to a Unilocal recommended place to eat, I decided to go to Brio. I had a caesar salad which was very nice, but nothing special though. I also had Pasta Pesto, which I found extremely boring. It was made of Angel Hair Pasta that did not taste of anything and the pesto was really hard to tell. The waiter was kind though. And the bathroom was really pretty decorated with marble sinks.

Sometimes I feel like chain restaurants don’t get enough credit because Unilocalsters love the local hip joints that are unique(as do I). But… If you took a blind taste test, this chain restaurant may win almost every time. The food is fantastic. The lobster ravioli is amazing. I also never come here without ordering the bruschetta quattro. It’s unbelieeeevvable

Brio is a classy Italian chain restaurant that prides itself in good service and good food. They offer brunch, lunch and dinner and have a large drink menu full of cocktails, Martinis and wine options. On Wednesdays they offer martinis for $ 5 and all the varieties I’ve tried were delicious. This most recent visit, I ordered the shrimp ravioli on the evening specials menu. It was a tad saltier than I would have liked, but the sauce was peppery and paired really well with the shrimp. I loved my boyfriend’s fettuccine dish that I had more than one bite of. On past visits, I remember really enjoying the Pasta alla vodka and their spicy shrimp and eggplant dish. Service has always been great, so 4 stars it is.

I came here with about 17 – 20 people on a Monday night . Honestly, my husband and I normally wouldn’t have picked this place but it was for a family dinner so we had no choice. At $ 18-$ 20 a plate I was expecting way better than a different take on Olive Garden dishes and the reviews I had read left me feeling skeptical. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the brick chicken and I ordered the pasta a la vodka. The chicken was juicy and tender while also staying true to its fire grilled flavor– I was impressed. The pasta a la vodka was spicy and creamy but it didn’t have the garlic flavor that I hoped for. We ordered dessert– cheesecake and a peanut butter trifle. It was good but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Overall, it was a nice meal but the price of the meal and the lack of parking validation at City Creek convinced me that it was a one-time restaurant stop.
