Babinski’s Good Stuff For Baby

Some cute stuff for 0 – 12 month babies. Staff were very unhelpful and did not seem to want to sell me anything. I asked several questions and was clearly wanting to buy something but they didn’t offer suggestions or even try to help. I honestly don’t think I would shop here again when there are plenty of other options with more helpful staff.

I love this shop. There is absolutely nothing like it in Utah! Darling, high quality furniture, specialty clothing, car seats, strollers and MORE! Couldn’t ask for a better one stop shop for all of babies needs. They also do registries :)

Very nice shop! I was looking for a cute baby outfit, something special and unusual and I found it here! Super nice staff and free gift wrapping!

I disagree with the reviewer who said this shop has the same things as Babies R Us. This place has a much nicer selection of the high end brands. It is much cleaner and a nicer shopping experience than Babies R Us. Particularly the clothing is far superior to anything you’ll find at BRU.
I’ve always had good service here. Never waited in line to check out.
This is the only store in the Salt Lake area where you can see some of the nicer baby brands and high end strollers. It is pricey, but the prices are competitive with what I see online for the same items.

Came in right at opening time so staff was just settling in so no help from them. Honestly they have same stuff as babies r us but marked up tremendously. $ 250 for a bassinet??? Not impressed. Maybe if they offered modern or something outside the box, it would validate the ridiculous pricing.

Babinskis is awesome! I’ve been there several times for gifts for family/​friends and they always have the trendiest and cutest things. I will definitely be coming here when I’m preggars! The prices are very good and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The products get five starts. The staff gets zero, so overall a 2. I love the brands that are offered here, but I’ve finally given up because of the staff. I went in shopping for toddler shoes. My first child, I’m hoping for some sales help on sizing. I ask for this, and am told Tom’s are popular, and can’t help on sizing. Couldn’t believe it. Then, when I go to check out, I find two registers, and three staff members behind the counter. There is a line of about five people waiting to check out, but both registers/​computers and ALL THREE staff members are tied up helping another couple with custom crib mattress options. One parent finally spoke up, as various toddlers were having meltdowns waiting forever in that line. I’d like to say this is outside the norm, but every time I’ve shopped there checkout has been a nightmare. You’d think in a store that caters to people who have children fast checkout would be a priority. Anyway, if you go there, be prepared for a really great selection of products, and a really long wait to but anything. Don’t bring a toddler.

I purchased a glider/​recliner chair here last week and was very satisfied with the service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable about how to order the chairs and knew what they had in stock. The prices, while high, were comparable to prices at any other furniture store (I checked several in town). I also noted that the prices for their car seats and strollers and other baby gear are not much higher than prices online and I feel happy to support a local business.

When you walk into this boutique, you can’t help but smile. Everything is perfectly arranged and on display. Kelly is super friendly and can help you find anything from a baby carseat to a convertible crib. There are always children in the store, another plus. I love the sound of laughter. A perfect place to buy baby shower gifts. Great inspiration. Be sure to check out their selection of Halloween costumes too.
