You will find me there every friday. What a nice place for family reunion. Love the soup here. Plus this is true vegan. Forget about limitation. Enjoy the food here pure and nutritious. Would like to recommend it to every one.

I really enjoyed this place my wife and I ordered the BBQ noodles, phở, and the banh mi. I have also had the spring rolls. Everything I have ordered is excellent. I recently talked to one of the owners about the phở, which is 100% vegan. I was so confused how they could make it taste so good and so close to normal phở. She only listed off a couple of the things they use and I was so amazed. A lot of love and a ton of time goes on to their phở. All the ingredients here taste really fresh! We recently moved to the north temple area and are super excited about getting to come here more often. You should definitely got to this place it’s one of my favorites!

Moving here from Seattle I have been in search of the perfect Phở soup. I finally found it here! She makes a wonderful sweet Vegetarian broth with No MSG!! Yeah! It was better then any Phở I ever eaten. I don’t know her secret but she sure knows how to make it right! Healthy delicious Phở. I can’t wait to go back and try the Lemongrass vermicelli bowl. The people walking out of the restaurant as I was entering said how delicious it was. «Amazingly good» they said. The owners there are so friendly. The food is great! I can’t wait to go back.

This is a lovely family business that produces delicious vegan food. We need more of these, and Vietnamese cuisine can be remarkably enjoyable as a meatless affair. I confess, though, that when I take it home I add fish sauce. There really is no substitute for that magical nectar. My only knock on All Chay is that the various proteins tend toward monotony. At least tofu is tofu, but fake chicken, beef, and pork seem unnecessary since they all taste pretty much the same to me(and no, they do not taste like chicken). Make an effort to visit and try everything. You can’t go wrong anywhere on the menu.

Absolutely wonderful and 100% vegan so a vegan and vegetarian can eat everything. We had spring rolls, noodle salads, soup and flan. All were so good that I might just come back tomorrow — except that we have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Note this is not a fancy place but the quality of ingredients and flavored justify coming. It also helps that Chow is wonderfully sweet.

I’m totally baffled on how They make the meat and broth taste. Well real… Had the phở and the spicy Mongolian noodles… I ended up dumping the noodles in the phở and eating the rest of the broth. Anyway cheap, fast and friendly. I think they only take cash… If you don’t like phở or Asian food… Well red iguana. Is somewhere close. Or crown burger

For those to whom the length is daunting, see the«Too Long; Didn’t Read» below. It’s always amazing to me when a restaurant can hold such a high rating, and after visiting All Chay I can see why they maintain theirs. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while — especially after learning that is an entirely Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant, so my friend Hai-Yen and I decided to get together on a Friday night and head over. It was what I looked forward to all week, and it definitely did not disappoint. I will say, that for where I live, the drive was a bit out of the way. I’m rarely on the West Side of Salt Lake — but I didn’t let that dissuade me, and nor should you. As per usual, when I make it to a restaurant that caters to my people I am severely overwhelmed when I take a look at the menu. It’s extremely hard to choose when you have your choice of anything you want. At the time, Hai-Yen and I did not realize just how huge the dishes were, so we went in guns blazing to try an array of items. We were told that the Golden Vegan shrimp was excellent, so we decided to get an order of that to split [I mean who could NOT try it to just try it?! I didn’t even know it was a thing… I’m such a bad vegetarian], and we also got and order of the Phnom Penh Noodles to split. On top of that, we each got a Thai Iced Tea, and I ordered the Mongolian Noodles, whereas my friend ordered the BBQ Noodles. Total Mega Yums. Not only did our food arrive very quickly, we were blown away by how much we had received. The«Large» orders are really extra large, and the«Small» orders are just plain large. You definitely get your money’s worth here. And Everything. Was. Amazing. The Vegan Shrimp was, as we were told, excellent. The 10 piece appetizer came with a delicious and sweet dipping sauce. I immediately started in on them after a moment of pure shock when our huge food orders arrived. The soup had a nice selection of vegetarian«meat» items: chikun, ham, tofu, shrimp — so we got a nice taste of them all. Hai-Yen is a very carnivorous human being, and even she thoroughly enjoyed our meat-less dishes. All Chay is a great place for Vegetarians, Herbivores and Carnivores alike. It was getting to the point where you’re so full that you should really stop eating, but everything you’re consuming is too satisfying, so the feeding continues. And it did. When we were slowly starting to finish up, we were brought out a complementary Vegan Flan. I’m not a huge flan-girl, but I loved it. There’s always room for dessert, so we both quickly finished this creamy, coffee, caramel-y flavored delicacy. After a very satisfying and filling meal, we both ended up taking a majority of our noodle dishes home with us. I’ve been ranting about how much I loved this place to my family, so I will most definitely be returning with more people to try. Thanks for such a great experience, All Chay. Never change. I’m most excited to try a Banh Mi when I next make it in… ya know, in a day or so :3. TL;DR: This five-star rated restaurant continues to hold itself high. I suggest trying a variety of items — but heed my warning — you get A TON of food. Get out of your comfort zone, meaties, and try some vegetarian meat. Vegetarians/Vegans, try the shrimp. It’s a necessity. Accentuate your meal with a flavorful Thai Iced Tea, and a Vegan Flan for dessert. You will not regret the drive over here, or your choices of food you consume. I’m already craving it again.

Goodbye meat, I don’t even miss you when I’m dining at All Chay. This out-of-the-way oasis is like eating in my mom’s kitchen. I grew up eating a lot of Asian vegetarian meals for religious holidays and special occasions; All Chay is on point with this type of cuisine. I am definitely not a vegetarian or vegan. I require meat in almost every one of my meals, otherwise I feel incomplete but All Chay makes vegetarian dining sexy. My friend Stephanie and I stopped by on a Friday night at 6.30PM. The abundance of menu options was overwhelming as everything sounded delicious, so it took us some time to decide what to eat. We grabbed seats in one of the booths and were surprised how quickly our orders arrived to the table. Great Vegan Thai Iced Tea; we both inhaled our cups. We split an order of Golden Vegan shrimp per the recommendation of the cashier and were so surprised how much we enjoyed it. Neither of us have ever even heard of the concept of vegan shrimp but the flavors were interesting and the«shrimps» were fried to golden perfection. I got the BBQ Noodles, my friend got the Mongolian Noodles, and we split a small order of Phnom Penh Noodle Soup [Hu Tieu]. The portion sizes caught us off guard; HUGE! The small order was more like a large! The different vegetarian proteins kept it interesting and we were impressed with the quality of ingredients and the careful preparation of each plate. The adorable co-owner stopped by our table to see how we were doing and gave us complimentary Vegan Flans to enjoy after our meal. The caramel sauce was flavored with coffee and was the perfect addition to the creamy flan. We left with extremely full bellies and boxed leftovers that we couldn’t wait to eat later that night. It was definitely worth the trip to Rose Park to eat at this unique restaurant.

Finally! A Vietnamese Vegetarian place in Utah. It might not be the best Vietnamese Vegetarian, but it’s good and good enough for me to come back to while living in Utah. I was complaining back then to my friends how they didn’t have one here and when I went home to California, I would stop by one of the many Vietnamese vegetarian places. What I love about Vietnamese vegetarian is that they don’t sacrifice flavor just because it’s meatless. A lot of Vietnamese vegetarian dishes have vegan options. Like this place, it’s mainly vegan. Also, I feel that a good number of Buddhist Vietnamese are vegetarian and they know how to make the food taste good without being too fatty, deep fried or over sauced compared to some other vegetarian dishes/places. Also, the prices tend to be reasonable. This is all true about All Chay. Reasonably price, good tasting vegetarian food. I just wish they had more food options. If you’re a vegetarian from Utah and like ethnic flavors, you’ll like this place.

This little hole in the wall opened 5 months ago and it’s a hit! The vegetarian place has a little bit of everything from spring rolls, phở, salads, sandwiches and rice dishes. The meat that is used is soy or tofu, which isn’t too shabby. You go to the counter to order your meal and help yourself to get your own water, sauce plates, and utensils. I would definitely come back and try something different.
