Great for our nonprofit event. Service was spot on and the food was great! Full meal and enough to serve everyone! Will definitely book future events during the day here!

Here’s my advice if you absolutely MUST come to 50 West Club to attend a show: 1) Eat Beforehand — The food is awful. The«rare» tuna steak I ordered was cooked well done, and everything on the plate was ice cold. 2) Sneak in a flask — The servers and bartenders are terrible. I was at the club for over 5 hours, and I was only able to get three drinks. Quite simply, I have never gotten worse service in my entire life.

We were there for a good few hours and we couldn’t get service once! Your loss 50 west — we would’ve bought food and drinks, but never got the opportunity for either. Thanks for nothing. Pro tip: don’t have menus if you aren’t going to serve people.

I wish I could review the food or the drinks. But sadly I never got either. Our section was completely ignored talked to 3 different servers who said that wasn’t their section. So there’s that. Cool venue, HORRIBLESERVICE!!!

Good food, good venue, but the whole thing feels cold and stark. It’s like a warehouse space that couldn’t decide if it wanted to become a concert venue or a boardroom.

Venue is small but cute, came here for a comedy competition. Service was attentive and staff was friendly. However the good really leaves something to be desired. I ordered the citrus ago that is supposed to be «grilled rare», I got an ahi steak that was medium well, and ice cold potatoes. I literally put my finger in then and they were cold to the touch even. The pineapple salsa was nice but the dry overcooked ahi was a sad disappointment.

It’s Chipotle for sandwiches! Err… 50 West is apparently a comedy club that transforms itself into a lunch spot during the day. You’ve seen the formula before: Choose a protein(in this case, marinated steak, salt and pepper chicken, BBQ chicken, tuna or burger), then choose a catalyist to help you devour said protein– sandwich, «hot plate» with mashed potatoes, or salad. Strangely, they also have breakfast any time Nothing too adventurous here, but what looks like a well-balanced fare — biscuits & gravy, bagels, pancakes & bacon, breakfast burritos, omelets, etc. In my one and only trip here, I had the marinated steak sandwich with fries. The steak was really tasty, but there just wasn’t very much of it(for $ 7.75, before adding sides or a drink). The roasted peppers and aioli accouterments were very tasty, but because of the meager steak portion, overwhelmed the sandwich. I’d probably still like it, except the«baguette» is more like a bolillo — soft and chewy all the way through, not flaky and crusty on the outside. The fries were fine, but not special. My dining companions had the Chicken Philly(which was enjoyed but similarly lacking in protein) and a breakfast platter of some sort. The pancakes were basically cakes — very thick and fluffy, with a nice taste and texture. A very nice dessert option for the rest of us. The décor is actually kind of fun– historic figures eating(mostly sandwiches) with comfy tables in a rather dramatic lighting scheme. I dig it. I think I’d go back for breakfast any time, and if you’re OK with smaller protein portions, you will probably enjoy the sandwiches.

Came here for the Ohio vs. Oregon game a few weeks ago. ESPN was sponsoring the game and they had bottomless nachos and hot wings all for free. The nachos were pretty decent, but the wings were not very good. Though I can’t really complain since they were free. I also tried one of their sandwiches and it was kind of dry and bland. The staff was very helpful and and on top of refilling drinks and food. The venue was nice, plenty of room and a nice café area. It was a fun place to watch the game and hang out with friends. I’d like to come back and see one of the comedy performances in the future. I would probably avoid the food though.

The 50 West Club is the new venue for Wiseguys Comedy Club in downtown SLC. This brand new space is spacious, modern and clean. Food offerings aren’t your typical bar or concession items. I went with the Ahi Tuna plate that came with some tasty mashed potatoes and sautéed zucchini. The tuna was cooked rare like it was advertised and tasted great. I had a great time seeing Dwayne Perkins, and I’m looking forward to experiencing more events at this place in the future.
