Ordered the plain pizza and hamburger pizza. Very good. I will be returning to this place. Very tasty.

I will start off by saying the pizza at Salisbury House is great. The customer service however, not so much. I went in there this evening to get a couple of slices, as I did not want a whole pizza. The lady behind the counter, who claimed to be the owner, told me there were no slices. I asked when there would be, as I was willing to wait 15 – 20 minutes. She told me there would not be any slices for the rest of the day and that slices are never available at nighttime, even at a customer’s request. She went on to say it was too late for slices and that they would have to make a whole pizza to have them available. I checked their hours and it appears they are open until 10pm. That being the case, it is possible other people may come in wanting slices. Nowhere is it advertised when slices are and are not available. If it were advertised, it would make things much clearer for customers. I am now a bit hesitant to give this store my business in the future. I suggest they consider updating their advertising to indicate when pizza slices are available, so as not to disappoint other customers.

As usual this review is an opinion… I have been in the neighborhood for about one year now and I have gone into Salisbury House of Pizza 4 times. Each time I go in I wish that things were off the last time I was there… That the person behind the counter was just having a bad day and this time it will be better. It never is. On two occasions I have gone in and asked for the special that is on the board… The two slices and a Coke deal. On those two occasions they would not give it to me because they did not have a slice pie made. The woman behind the counter will gladly sell you a whole pizza though. In my opinion that is a bait and switch. If you ever go in there do ask for the 2 slice deal and see what happens. The attitude over the counter is in my opinion over the top horrible and the other reviews seem to back me up. I have encountered over the counter the same person each time and the presentation is indeed that she is doing you a favor by taking your order. The Soup Nazi on the 90’s television show had his charms as he looked down on the mere mortals ordering his soup. He was patently abusive yet the clientele returned because the product was worth the abuse. In my opinion that formula does not exist at The Salisbury House of Pizza. There is nothing special about their subs. In my opinion the difference between a good sub and a blah one is of course the ingredients. Some shops may use a crustier loaf and a higher quality meat. I don’t think they do that here. Quality ingredients, and having a slice pie ready are the indicators of a sub shop that understands that you have to be better for the customer instead of running everything so close to the bone. The combination of attitude and stinginess creates an air and odor of «I don’t care that you came in.» It’s too bad they don’t care because I go further down the road 2 times every week to another place that wants my business. I am only one person but how many others are doing the same thing?

*REVIEWUPDATE* I reduced the rating to 3 stars. I order basically every week. About every other week our order is delivered incorrectly. I have been ordering here since August, maybe. That’s A LOT of mistakes. I worked in the business for six years. They need to be more attentive and thorough. Someone would’ve been fired by now if I worked there. The food is good, don’t get me wrong. But those kind of mistakes are unacceptable.

I am a local and I will never order from them again. The food is good but the experience is horrid. The woman that takes the order acts like she is doing you a favor and acts like you are a pest for wanting to spend your money there. Completely unprofessional.

Pasting this here so the chef’s can grasp that a Chef Salad DOESNOTANDNEVERHASTRADITIONALLY included a gross, watery glop of tuna fish in the middle of it… …and if your’s does — maybe put it on your menu? Was NOT an order mistake — second time this has happened to us in four years… Chef salad” on @Wikipedia:

Pizza is very good and well seasoned. Bit on the greasy side. Fingers, fries all very good. Steak tip sub is excellent. Large is enough for two. We keep going back again and again. A very good value!

This place sux!!! They are a scam. Do not ask for delivery if your hungry, b/c they will show up several hours later, not knock on your door, and tell you how the pizza you just ordered tastes. Waste of time, waste of money! Buyer beware!

Pizza, Sandwiches, Subs, Salads, Appetizers — this is the local place to stop in for any of these food choices. Or, stay at home and the restaurant will deliver to you. We are regulars of this restaurant and have enjoyed most of the food. The pizza is their benchmark, but I’m not a fan of the pizza. The last two I’ve bought, which is over the course of 3 years, had been loaded with oil. Perhaps both times I ordered on a day where pizza wasn’t all that popular, which would seem odd since it’s their business to make pizza. Whether you are heading to the beach or looking for a quick meal on your way home from work, Salisbury House of Pizza is the place to go for it. There are no other local places around that offer year-round. The sub sandwiches are good. I often buy a tuna sub or specialty Italian sub and have never had a bad one. On occasion, I’ll buy an appetizer — like mozzarella sticks or chicken fingers. The sticks are ok, not the greatest, just ok. Sometimes they taste like they’ve just been taken out of a box and warmed in a microwave, but that’s not how this restaurant does it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They accept credit cards and tips if you want to thank them. They also offer delivery service, which is convenient on a cold winter night.

When you’ve been frolicking at the beach all day and need to get the kids fed or you just can’t stand the thought of cooking on the camp stove, head to the corner of Beach Street and Route 1 in Salisbury. Good old Salisbury House of Pizza will take care of you. They’ve got standard pizza house fare: pizza, hot and cold subs, soda and chips as well as dinner plates and things like chicken fingers. If that doesn’t soothe the savage beast, I don’t know what will. They also have baklava for sale for dessert, if you’ve got room after pizza. Their pizza has always been the standard greek pizza on par with every decent pizza I’ve had. Maybe they won’t win any awards for an original menu, but when you’re fried from too much sun or tired of eating hot dogs over the campfire, this place fills the bill perfectly well.

Salisbury House of Pizza is exactly what you’d expect for a local«house of pizza.» You get good subs, decent pizza, lots of grease, all at a fairly reasonable price. Sure, the owners do not speak perfect English, but we’ve never had an order messed up since we’ve been going there(many years). With the prices do come large portions as well. If you’re looking for tasty greasy food after a day at the beach, this is a perfectly acceptable place.

First time trying to order from them since i moved to Salisbury and figured i would give it a try. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and she never took down my number. So after an hour went by i decided to give them a call. She picked up again and very rudely tried to explain to me that she had been calling my number over and over. By this time i was getting really impatient and told her to not bother delivering it anymore. She started YELLING… at ME! LOLWHAT? Are you serious lady? Terrible service. probably shit for pizza and horrible Human Social Skills.

The best subs and apps in the area. The pizza is pretty good too! We moved out of town and every time we go back to visit we have to stop in for food. Great customer service, remember me every time!!!

The pizza is average to below average. Subs are not very good. The place has seemed to go downhill. I went there about 10 years ago and remember it being a lot better. Staff are also appear miserable. All and all, hard to write anything positive, and I have no reason to go back.
