Chili’s Grill & Bar

I’ve been here for dinners and I’ve also placed orders to go for lunch on Saturdays. Every time I come here for dinner I get fast service. The staff is very friendly and they are very helpful. When it comes to the to go orders they are always nice enough to write people’s names on every food item so when the food gets to my work place we can distribute everyone’s lunch without opening every single thing. I have no complains about chilis. I love how every dollar is a point and you can redeem them for free items. This is defiantly a favorite place.

Called to place a large Togo order, Angel stated they don’t take to go orders 30 minutes before closing. I called at 10:20… That’s 10 minutes before the «cut off time.» I was a frequent customer and won’t be returning. The quality of food and customer service has taken a turn for the worst at this location…

We were in salinas and I checked on Unilocal what time chilis was open till, it said 11pm. When we arrived the Hostess apparently doesn’t know the business hours of the restaurant she is employed by. My family and I walked in around 9:30, and when she asked for how many, we told her 4. She grabbed the menus and said «just letting you know we close at 10 so in 30 minutes. We were confused since we saw that right outside the door it said 11pm. After being told that we don’t really have enough time to enjoy our meal, we decided to leave. When we were already walking back to our car and some of us were already inside the car, the hostess shows up to tell us that they were actually open until 11. Okay, so she came out to tell us, we appreciated it and all, but we weren’t going to go back in after we just walked out being told we pretty much had to finish our meal in less than 30 minutes. It’s rude and not too mention bad service.

Very very slow and inattentive service. Thank God for those pay at the table things, it worked harder than our server.

What happened to this place? Food used to be good and appetizing. The food now looks like it’s been taken out of the freezer and cooked in the microwave! The customer service was totally lacking! We waited for our drinks for like 20 minutes! Really? Our food also took a long time as well and our order was not very difficult either. The waiter was not attentive at all. We never got asked if we needed refills on our drinks. We even waited for the check but we never got it so we decided to self– pay. I don’t think I’ll ever come back again.

The venue:
This place is obviously very standard, the typical chain restaurant.
The service:
I came here with a group of 17 people. Over all the service was ok, but absolutely nothing to brag about.
They took a long time for the food as expected because it was a big group.
The food:
I tried the chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich. It come with some fries. The chicken was over cooked and didn’t taste like it had much seasoning.
I asked if they could substitute the bacon for more avocado and they said they couldn’t do that, but they would gladly charge me extra for more avocado. How does that make any sense???
When my sandwich arrived, It literally had one small slice of avocado on each half of sandwich!
What a disappointment chili’s!!!

Came in on a Friday pretty busy my dates food got here within 5 minutes of ordering and mine hasn’t gotten here 30 minutes later…

Pineapple blueberry margarita is bomb but beware. blueberries will get stuck in your straw which interferes with your margarita enjoyment. Sliders are chill. Ordered onion rings. Never got to chill with my onion rings cuz hey never came. Ordered a water that came an hour later so I was a little parched. Come here if you have 10 hours to kill cuz it’s slow as f.

Me and my bf come here all the time, we’re regulars and have never been disappointed definitely loving the new rewards points! I love saving on desserts and strawberry lemonades I recommend the Cajun pasta & steak!

Almost a 45 minute wait. No checking in with us, nothing. No excuse for such poor service. Did I mention that was the wait after we sat down and ordered? It wasn’t even busy. We won’t be coming back.

Liking this chili’s but not liking the fact that I can’t order on the kiosk unless it’s dessert. If they could fix that then I would give this place 5 stars easily! I do like that I can pay without waiting for the waiter and it adds a tip that you can manipulate lower or higher. Pretty cool

I love this chilies restaurant. The food is good and the drinks are moderetaly priced. The customer service is wonderful. The workers there are usually cheerful and ask if there’s anything you need or want to order more.

I walked out also, I sat at the bar and the bartender walked up in front of me leaned on the bar, checked his cell phone then proceeded to talk to the customer next to me about his previous job. I could have been invisible for the 5 minutes I sat there.

Just walked out of this location after sitting at a table for over 20 minutes without even so much as being acknowledged by a server. They weren’t short in servers– several zoomed right by our table and didn’t even glance our way. I can’t even say that is the first time this has happened at this location… This location has the worst service ever and has since they opened. Which is why I am currently sitting at BJ’s already sipping my drink and waiting for my food. Will never go back.

First time we visited Chili’s in Salinas and we had a very nice lunch and we will definitely be back. She had mango salsa chicken and I had the baby back ribs both were outstanding. The service was great and I got a kick out of paying at the table using the keosk. Longest fries I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been go, if you have gone go again. Enjoy I did.

Over priced, nasty, and the service is terrible. Tried this place many times over the years, just terrible. I do not recommend this place.

Had not been there for a couple of years because of bad service and food. We decided to try lunch on Sunday afternoon in the bar area. Our drinks and food were prompt and delicious. Shawn, and the young lady working with him (she made great guacamole)! and changed our mind about Chili’s. Thank you!

Great deal, fast pick up. ordered online and said ready at 11 (opening time) rolled up and out in ten minutes. can’t beat that. ONE thing I like about GREAT chain places is the consistency anywhere on the planet. kudos for chilis Salinas.

Horrible floor staff.
Stood at the restaurant foyer for at least 5 mins. (Not exaggerating). And there was literally no one on the floor, working. Not even at the bar. Everyone must have been taking a cigarette break together. Finally a middle-​aged man, sloppily put together came out from the back. Shirt was half tucked in, and half tucked out. Wearing sandals, feet shuffled the floor. Asked us where we’d like to be seated. We said the bar side to watch sport scores. Magically, two bartenders arrived. I excuses myself to use the filthy bathroom, and magically there was a server on the dining side of the restaurant, too. This is what gave me the assumption they all were on break together, seeing that they all came back on the floor together. After that, everything moved smoothly when it came to service. Our server/​bartender was attentive. Food came out quick. One of the guests I was with had their steak cooked wrong. Ordered Medium-​well, it arrived, medium rare. Maybe a misunderstanding?
**When my quesadilla explosion salad arrived, I went to place my napkin in my lap, and there was lipstick!!! On it. Not my lipstick!!! Disgusting!**

Great service, Derek was my waiter and was far the best. He went over his way to help me and my fiancée get the best service ever. I wanted to have a great night with my fiancée and the food and service made that happen. I been coming here past times and this was the best experience of all those visits. Will be coming soon.
