This Rodeway Inn provided for a perfect night’s rest. It had everything I look for in a hotel and was even cheaper than the nearby Motel 6(which I stayed at once and it was terrible). The Rodeway in had really friendly service when I checked in at 11:00 pm and the next morning. They upgraded us to a king bed for free. The bed was very comfortable. I think it might have been a new mattress, soft yet firm. We enjoyed the late check-out time of 12:00 because I had to use the free wifi(which was fast) to get some work done before I left. Breakfast was surprisingly thorough with hot biscuits and gravy, Belgian waffles, cereal, pastries, coffee and juice. I must say though, the number one best thing about this hotel was the really tall shower heads. This may sound insignificant to you but at 5′ 11″ I run into a lot of shower heads that hit me at about my neck even in expensive hotels. It was such a special treat to take a real shower without doing a back bend to rinse out the shampoo. It also had one of those shower rods that curves out to give you more room in the shower. This place was just such a lovely surprise. Sure the gold framed pictures are a bit out of date but I don’t care. The TV didn’t have crystal clear reception but I still managed to stay up entirely to late after getting sucked into a cheesy movie. This place isn’t fancy but they do everything right. I live in Denver and my family is in Missouri so I will be staying here many more times on my trips back and forth.
