I took my kids here for breakfast. The food was very good.

Well done. As transplanted Kansan’s we love a great breakfast. As Californians we like uniqueness. This Resturant had both. Good food. Enough of if. And local Resturant-only specialities that made the visit special. I liked the German sausage and the omelets were big. Pancakes were no joke. Enjoy. We did.

This would definitely be Salida’s go to breakfast/brunch/lunch place and the atmosphere was only too welcoming. This place gets packed and it doesnt take long to figure out why. The waitresses were fast, friendly and food was on point. Of all three of our various plates we ordered none of us could decide which was better. You could stop here for every meal and have no regrets(up until 2pm of course:)).

Great environment, very welcoming, funny joke books on the tables to read while the quick and friendly severs took our orders. The hash browns smothered in green chili and cheese were very good. My girl friend had a half order of the eggs Benedict and a pancake to share for desert. Can’t wait for the next ski trip to monarch or camping trip to stop by and have another great meal.

We all had Mexican breakfast and we liked it a lot. Green chili, breakfast burrito. Warning. Breakfast burrito is huge. Nice friendly staff.

Awesome brunch in Salida, probably the best pancakes I had in a long time. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. Very polite, attentive elderly waitress. It doesn’t get much better than this for breakfast, don’t pass it by.

Patio pancake place is a have-to breakfast spot. It’s quaint, service rocks and it’s heaven on the palette. This place never disappoints and when we are in Salida we meet up with a long time local who knows everyone by name and visa versa. Makes us feel like VIPs there. Stop in and sit a spell before enjoying the rest of your vacation.

This restaurant was quick and friendly with good service. The pancakes, eggs, and sides were all good. I think it is a decent option in the area with a typical variety of breakfast items.

Pancakes good, eggs good, link sausage good, hash browns ok, German sausage tasted more like hamburger. All around good but wouldn’t go again.

This place is the quintessential mom and pop breakfast joint. The food tasted like I was in my grandmas kitchen and the portions were on point. The pancakes were light and fluffy. My bacon/hashbrowns had the perfect crispness. Coffee that was the perfect blend. Overall a good way to start the day with good prices. Our waitress was very kind, welcoming and checked on us frequently. My only complaint would be the«salty» smell that lingers in the air.

This is the salida breakfast hotspot. The German sausage reminded me of sausage we had growing up, very tasty. Heavy on pepper and garlic. Made for excellent burps the rest of the day

Short wait on a busy Sunday morning. Waitresses all helped each other out always asking if we need refills or plates out of the way. We would definitely come again.

We are picky about our quaint little breakfast stops. This one is a top 5er!!! Super awesome breakfast. Best Huevos Rancheros(sp?) I’ve EVEREATEN, and the Banana Split Pancake was truly something for the books! Truly a unique yummy stop! Wait staff was super friendly and helpful as well! WEWILL B BACK!

Nothing really stood out to me. But, the food and service were both good. There was plenty of both. This was probably the best meal I had on that 4-day weekend trip. If I’m through the area again around breakfast time, I’ll stop in.

I saw no patio. But the place had great food. Eclectic reads on the table. Good people watching. The fabric of the universe unfolds. Good coffee. Smiles on all. Business being conducted in the din murmur. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. It’s hard to find a good plate. I found one. It measured up to B&G scrutiny. It created focus in my cloudy morning just awakened state. The portions were hardy, the staff efficient, with seemingly ordinary people pitching in to bus tables or seat customers. There were at least three cooks busting out breakfast and lunch items. It was a well greased skillet of a machine! Along the strip in Salida. You’ll be glad you dance that B&G gab.

This joint in Salida has a great breakfast menu. The folks working there were real Salida locals and were interesting, courteous, and cool. The food was really good and they serve plenty of it! Big portions! !

Ate here twice on our recent stay in Salida. Both visits were good but not phenomenal. Service was attentive and moderate food.

The banana pancakes are to die for. So are the pecan waffles. My family comes back here every time we’re in Salida. Affordable, classic breakfast done perfectly. Love it!
