You guys are so disorganized. If you have something sold at least have the decency of putting it out there for others to know so they don’t have to wait half an hour in line to find that out. Never coming back here again.

The place is nice and big. There is alot of stuff and some pretty good deals. The only bad thing and almost made me give a one star is the customer service is horrible. The women who work there are so rude and mean. Make sure you get out of there way if they are stoking the selves.

I have shopped here many times. — but have decided not to do so again. As for the merchandise, its hit or miss. What this review is about mostly is the staff. Ive never experienced anything like it. They appear to go out of their way to be difficult and basically rude. Also watch the pricing — its quite random!

Hit or Miss … and completely the case at any of the consignment or thrift shops. They go by a tag color system for discounts. I guess there is family days and some other special day that everything is 50% … those days are packed! especially during halloween when everyone is getting creative with a costume. A few times of huge scores! But then other times walking out with nothing. Usually I come out on average with 3 items. Anything from clothing article to some houseware or deco item. You really have to spend time to find something of quality. I can’t stay too long, or else I tend to sneeze or get itchy. Nice perk… they have a restroom if nature calls … I needed to once!

I came in this morning for a photo frame, and left with that frame for $ 2. Perfect frame. This place has the moldy 2nd-hand smell that you can’t escape at any thrift store, but if you can get past that, its a real well organized store, and the staff is courteous and helpful

Still just okay. I still go regularly to see what I can find. Prices can vary so be careful. Look for the daily specials. Also the place smells like mold& mildew. I always have a sneezing fit in here. So if you are there and hear some dude having a sneezing fit its me. Say hello. Also– the staff here are so sad and miserable. They never smile or are friendly. I nicknamed one older woman«Joy» as she is the exact opposite. When you are there, look for her. You will see what I mean.

Picked up two pieces of furniture here. One metal shelf in like-new condition and an older wood night stand. Both were under the«All Furniture –50%» and great deals. I thought of picking up several nicknacks and baskets, but not at $ 5 each. I may return to poke around clothes and other items but something drastic would have to happen to Savers for me to do that. I do like the close location and the selection of furniture.

This Salvation Army has some nicer items than others in the area, put the prices reflect that too. Plan on paying 25−50% more than you would in other SA’s… I like that this location is open later than many others. BONUS!

As far as Salvation Army stores go, this is one of the better stores. It’s fairly clean, well-organized and it seems like they’re always putting out new stock. There’s a large selection of furniture, books, kitchen items, etc in the back. My main reason for coming here is records — they have a large selection of vinyl records, though they keep moving them around the store. Sure, most of it is old Christmas albums, Herb Alpert type stuff that you see at every thrift store in every town across America, but I’ve pulled some decent records out of the bins here. For vinyl in southern NH, this is one Salvation Army that should be on your hit list.

LOVE this location. Huge selection of furniture, and other odds and ends. If you go on Thursday you get half off any furniture item. and they have other themed savings days as well. Friendly staff, good location, awesome selection.

If you have time to just wander through, you can find some useful stuff. In the back there are books. I found a few cook books and some dishes. The clothes are packed so just browse with an open mind. They are open to 9PM most weeknights. Really look around in the back because sometimes some cool stuff shows up. I got ice shot glass molds once. Other times, didn’t find anything. I think I want to find more locations!

Jeesh, anyone thinking this store is dirty or unorganized should have shopped at the OLD Salvation Army store on Main Street. It was in the old brick trolley barn(built in 1902), and had 90 years of dust, dirt, grime, and god knows what else. The building couldn’t be air conditioned, because the old wiring couldn’t take it. Compared to that, the new Salvo on Cluff road is modern and clean, and has nice stuff. Having said that, I don’t think you get the major ‘scores’ there you did years ago, but I blame EBay for that; People sell their old junk now instead of just giving it away.

I usually go to the Salvation Army in Wilmington, but I think I maybe breaking up with that one and just strictly seeing the Salem one from now on. They have a great selection of books. I’ve only been a few times, but I have found at least three great books each time I’ve been. I haven’t totally scoped out the whole place because I get caught up in the book section, but they have tons of clothes and furniture.

If you walk in with a lot of patience and a few bucks in your pocket, you are likely to find something you like. They have a huge selection of clothing. The only problem is that the racks are a little too packed and organized by color(weird, right?!). Saturdays are half priced furniture and I have found some great bargain antique pieces that I have resold for profit.

Out of the many Salvation Armys I have visited over the years, this is one of the cleanest and organized ones I have been to. They have a vast book collection, as well as housewares. Their clothes are a little packed, but as with any thrift store, a little patience is required to find some great things. It’s also right near the Rockingham Mall, so you can do full-price shopping too if it suites your fancy.
