Don’t do it. You pay for what you get. Might as well go to Physiq… Better prices, equipment and overall environment. You would think a small business would show respect towards the community … Nope! Like I said, don’t do it.

D’oh, too late. Those members that claim to be happy at Salem Fitness for 3 and 4.5 years and gave it 5-​star ratings have already toured and/​or joined another facility. So much for claiming total happiness at this establishment. People are leaving Salem Fitness by the dozens. Ask yourself why. Could it be the obnoxious members described below? That’s what did it for me. Numerous complaints to the management did nothing to help with their unruly behavior, and now that gym is doomed. Don’t waste your money on a membership fee. Salem Fitness will be closed very soon. But then again, if you’re the kind of guy who enjoys being hit on by middle-​aged hags dressedl in tight black («Wanna take a yoga class with little old meeeeee?» or «Could you pick that weight up and hand it to me? It’s soooo heavyyyyyy» wink-​wink) then this is the place for you.

Ok, I am back at the grind. They have WIFI and a few new classes that I am excited to utilize! I am so glad to see the familiar faces and put my kids in the wonderful daycare to improve my «fitness level» Ya, Sam N. that was a jab at you because I am one of those moms who use the daycare. I don’t primp or flirt, just trying to get rid of my baby weight and get back to the way I felt when I was thinner and younger.
I think Salem Fitness is a family gym, and if you like people to wave hello, this is a place for you. Please don’t take this 2 star rating for what it says, go in and check out the gym before you make any assumptions. We have been happy there for 3+ years.
