Introduction I came with a few friends and wanted to try out this restaurant. I can’t tell you the countless times I have driven by in several years and never even tried them. Service I sampled a few different dishes(my own and friends). The service is excellent and the staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Hands down they do a great job. Ambience You have options to sit outside or inside. That is personal preference. This is a casual restaurant, suited for groups, families and friends. Excellent low key atmosphere. Food French fries. They’re standard long cut fries. Cooked perfectly and tasted great. Not too greasy or salty. Just right. I asked for ketchup and honey mustard. Honey mustard is awesome! Cheesesteak sandwich. Cheese, thinly cut steak, lettuce and tomato. I’m used to spicy sandwiches with peppers. For me, it wasn’t my style. It tasted plain to me. Pizza. The crust was crispy and tasty on its own. Lots of cheese and the sauce made the taste just pop! The quality of the pepperoni is excellent. Great pizza. Fettuccine Alfredo. I had it plain without meat. Taste was very good. The noodles were prepared perfectly. Breadsticks made a complementary taste and helped with the rich cheese flavor. Overall Definitely a pleasant and positive experience. I want to try different dishes to get an idea of what I like. The pizza is definitely worth coming back for.

Surprised! I chose Triple P for dinner as I had checked out their GF menu online and was excited about the various choices. At first I was very disappointed that they did not offer GF bread. It was truly a bummer for my husband to be able to sample their garlic cheese bread while I could not do so. I ordered the cheesesteak supreme which came heaped upon shredded lettuce. Prior to ordering I asked about and expected it to have been served between two large romaine leaves. It is nice on occasion to feel like you are eating a real sandwich when you must eat GF. I will say it was delicious despite my initial hesitation to believe I would like it. I asked and was told they would accommodate me if I brought my own bread for a sandwich if I choose to return We were seated in the main dining area which was bright and very clean. The hostess and the lady who brought our food(owners?)very warm and friendly. Thanks!

Well… if you’re looking for friendly staff, good service, and casual environment this is your place. However, I was disappointed in the pizza. I ordered a five topping pizza with two of those being meatballs and Italian sausage. I’m not quite sure they qualify. They were both meat loaf thinly sliced. I’ve added pics. When you pay $ 26.40 for a pizza you expect to get what you order, not false advertising. Why a pizza place has a firebrick oven then goes cheap on ingredients is beyond me.

The place was clean and the staff very nice. The meat for sandwich tasted like it had been freezer burned, It was cooked with no seasoning, so it was very bland. I guess they use frozen restaurant supply food. The meat sauce for the pasta dish was rough, not cohesive. I think they tried to make it Italian with lots of oregano. Also, oddly, it was served with no cheese. I may give them a second chance and try the pizza; they do have a wood burning pizza oven. Fresh food and experienced cook would make a huge difference.

We are here as my father in law is in the VA hospital. Ordered the white pie with ricotta and wow! It was wonderful! Friendly staff and good food. Huge menu too. Highly recommend them!

With a name like Pizza Pasta Pit, it has to be good, right? We went here before a movie, mostly because I wanted my daughter to be able to try/get their gluten free pizza(she wasn’t thrilled). The regular pizza was pretty good, though. Salad bar, not so much. The service was fantastic; nicest & friendliest staff around! I’d go back if in the area & needing a good meal!

Me and my fiancé had lunch here on a Friday and had a great experience. Nicole, the general manger greeted us like family and created a very welcoming atmosphere. We had the pizza with artichokes and it was great! We will be returning soon.

Take out Sat night Aug 8, 2015 at 9:30PM. Small 10″ White Pizza and a Ham & Spinach Calzone. Both were tasty, good cheese(s) and dough cooked perfectly. The Calzone was the better of the two I thought, and the 2 small containers of Marinara Sauce was perfect. Even though they have a «wood fired oven» I could not smell or taste any wood smoke in the food. Our only complaint was the relatively high price.$ 26.16 which includes Salem City tax. Ouch.

Umm, decent food and friendly service, nice salad bar, although it needs tomato. The sandwiches were so so, diced sausage on the sausage and peppers, the steak sub was not the most flavorful either. I kept thinking, «why is this sandwich so blah?» And the tiny bag of chips thrown on the plate with the sandwich. …no. Not good. Worst of all, the pizza prices are ridiculous. $ 25 for a pizza? This is Roanoke. So, overall, the food was fair but pricey. 7 bucks for a small sandwich, miniscule chips and 3.50 for a lunch side salad. I was generous with three stars, not going back.

They have a great gluten free menu, which was exciting to find just passing through a small town. Service was also excellent — the hostess and waitress were very kind. I had the GF penne alla rosa and side salad, my boyfriend had the Pit Special. Pasta was a good texture(I think it was corn).

I had the gluten free pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. It was so good I couldn’t believe it. I am very picky about pizza and this crust was perfect. Thin with just the right crunchiness on the edges. My husband had the lasagna and he said it was very good. They have a very nice gf menu. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very good experience.

We sat outside, which was actually quite warm. We started with garlic bread, which was okay. We had the Hawaiian pizza. The pineapple tasted like it had sat in the can for a little too long. The pizza itself had too much cheese and wasn’t cooked long enough, for our liking at least. Good staff though.

The food is so-so at best, the noise level makes it difficult to carry on a conversation and the service was very slow.

GLUTENFREE! Awesome gluten free pasta — try the penne and bolognese. So tasty. Gluten free pizza crust too! The owners have gone gluten free and understand our frustrations. Check it out. Great local joint.

The service was quick and very friendly. The guy who seemed to be managing the place was super cool. The man and I both had subs and shared a basket of fries, everything was good. The fries were extra good really, perfect. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that their Ranch tasted like it came from a bottle. I think dressings made on sight are so much better.

Surprised this doesnt have a review yet. Lived in the Roanoke valley for six years and just discovered this gem. From the road looks less then appealing but the patio(heated in winter) is awesome and the inside is nice as well. Great brick oven pizza. Just what we were looking for in Roanoke. My personal fav’ in Roanoke.
