Staple local pizza joint. Willing to do special orders (like double dough). Solid basic pizza, seating area has character. Great for take-​out.

Been a Mandee’s Pizza lover for many years! Love the pizza and calzones! Just had chicken tenders and I personally thought they were not great. More batter than meat, and lots of weird hard cartilage and pieces of fat. Over cooked and hard and dry on the skinny end parts. I won’t get chicken again, but, Mandee’s will always be our #1 for pizza around the area!

Great customer service, fast delivery, pizza is still hot and always delicious when it arrives at my doorstep… no complaints here!

Interesting to read the mixed reviews here. Hard for me to relate to folks terrible experiences, since I find Mandees to be consistently excellent over the last 6 years I’ve lived in the area Pizza is a very subjective thing, I guess. I happen to love Mandee’s pizza, and have tried many varieties, the round sicilian, the regular, various combinations, and really enjoyed them all. And their wings, to my taste, are fantastic. I like them breaded, well done, super crisy coating and Mandee’s delivers (no pun intended, but while I’m on the subject…). Their delivery is often faster than promised, friendly and efficient — my door is a bit hard to find but they always remember. I can’t recall even one messed up order — I always use their online ordering system and I think it’s great. And on top of that, Mike the owner often sends an email to thank me for my order — usually with a nice coupon. Excellent customer service, in my book. All of that sounds deserving of five star review, I’d say!

My favorite pizza shop to call, everyone is always so friendly and patient! I order from Mandee’s most Friday nights and lately we have been doing Sunday’s too! The Alfredo pizza is my favorite and my guy loves the Hawaiian! We also get the bacon/​cheese fries-​amazing. Love this place and the staff, definitely recommended if you are in the area!

First I have to say I come from New York where you can get a pizza at a gas station 25x better than anyone in mass. And that’s messed up.
Mandees is in a big competitive market here.

Let’s save time and say forget delivery. I won’t expand on that.
It’s just ok … Inconstant and expensive.
Mobile (phone) app sucks you can’t order anything unless you pay with a cc… The pc one is decent enough.
Promos are kinda weak for a place this pricey.
Thanks for the $ 3 off… if … I order in 48 hours but it’s like a game thing … A week would be better. Loyalty is key my friends.
Staff is friendly but… idk 3 stars … Try harder.

We got a chicken broccoli Alfredo pizza yesterday for dinner. It was delicious. One side of the pizza was more well done than the other side.

Food is great, i have navigated threw the web page for about 45 min each time. Pro. Its great that you can order extremely specific details. Con. Make sure you are registered and know your password and screen name and have your credit card on file if your in a rush otherwise just call it in, then register on your down time. Cookies are also awesome

The food is disgusting, and the customer service is appalling. Just don’t. Not sure how they are still in business.
Ordered a chicken parm sandwich and fries and they were both awful.
Never again.

Mandees has the best pizza in Salem! Last time we ordered we got a lg cheese pizza and a french fry and they charged us for a side of ketchup! Is that crazy or is it me!!! (And they only gave us 4 packets of ketchup!) I don’t know any other pizza places that charge for ketchup. Also the customer service is a hit or miss, sometimes you get someone really nice over the phone and other times they have an attitude.

I used to love Mandee’s, I ordered from them 1 – 2 times a week. They were my go to pizza place in Salem. I would order steak tip Caesar salads and the occasional pizza. One night I’d gotten the wrong order– there was bacon on our pizza & my roommate cannot eat pork. We called to request a new pizza and let them know their mistake & their attitude was basically…“Really? You can’t just pick off the pork?”. Yes. Really. The last straw came when I ordered a pizza for delivery & the driver took it to the wrong address. They said they wouldn’t re-​deliver, I’d have to come get it. I decided to cancel my order altogether. Being charged for toppings that don’t come on your pizza is frustrating. Getting the wrong pizza is frustrating. I don’t have an issue with the taste of the food its 100% a service issue.

Really enjoyed their pizza, we ordered a large cheese pizza and a large fry (fries where huge!) for pick up. Both where delicious and priced fair. We will definitely order from them again.

So many memories with my father here, great pizza, great service, very clean and quick!

We had a great pizza for $ 15. It was Hawaiian: pineapple and ham, and we added jalapenos.
It was perfect for the convenience and the price. A+ for a great Saturday night pizza!

This is my pizza place in Salem. Fresh ingredients, great and fast service, good prices. Highly recommended.

Pizza and fries were good only thing was that it was cold and they took over 35 mins and it’s not that far from where I live so very sad that my pizza couldn’t be hot :(but I will be ordering from them again and I’ll just put the whole pizza in the oven to warm it up

I once lived in Salem (late 90’s) and ordered nearly weekly (Friday nights) Mandee’s Sicilian one topping pizza. Back then, the nearest store was located in Beverly and either an easy pickup or delivery. The Sicilian was their signature pizza, delicious, large, square, and perfect. Best pizza in the area was known as Mandee’s.
On April 17, 2014, I was in the area and decided to order a Sicilian one-​topping pizza. When I arrived, the pizza wasn’t ready so unfortunately had to wait a few extra minutes. The aroma in the store was making me hungry for the pizza I once remembered to quench my thirst and fill my stomach.
After arriving home and popping open the pizza box, I was surprised and not pleased. The Sicilian was not a Sicilian but a regular one-​topping pizza and it was ugly looking. I paid for a Sicilian and was given an incorrect pizza.
The taste of the pizza was horrible. I had two slices, wife had 2, and threw the rest in the trash. There was hardly any sauce and mostly covered in cheese. There was a harsh taste with the pizza, undercooked, and just plain horrible. I’ve had better Sal’s pizza, and I don’t like Sal’s.
Since I was not pleased with the mix up, I called the store to report what I had just experienced. They said their Sicilian is round now and not rectangular. They suggested returning the pizza, but it was too late as I was now 45 minutes away and had no further interest in the pizza.
It’s too bad I had this experience with Mandee’s and it is clear, Mandee’s is not what it used to be. I won’t go here again.

Best pizza in Salem for sure. Best wings too.
The crust is perfect and the sauce is in the appropriate proportion.
This place is busy so the service inside the store is going to be brief. They don’t really seem to know what goes on with their own website and social media deals, but it is a pizza shop.
We will continue to buy pizza exclusively from Mandee’s. Delicious.

Mandee’s used to be the go to choice for pizza for my husband and I. We had been ordering from them for about a year and it was hit or miss. It was good more often than not, so we continued to order from them.
The problems used to happen here and there, but then they became more regular. We we order something (calzone/​pizza/​subs) and add toppings to it, and they would never be on it. We knew there would be some extra charge but it was extremely expensive! We ended up getting our total and it was about $ 5 – 10 more and all we did was add maybe 2 – 3 things extra. I have had to call up a few times to mention toppings were missing (or dressings etc), and yet I was still charged. The guy I spoke to was rude and informed me they were out of something and that’s why it wasn’t there. That’s fine, I get that… you run out of ingredients, but call the customer to inform them. Every other place in Salem does that.
The final annoyance was we ordered a pizza with extra toppings on it, that was a million dollars as always. When the pizza was delivered it was sideways. No joke, the pizza was bare with a huge pile of cheese and toppings in the corner.
The taste and quality of the food started to go downhill over time as well.
If the customer service was different and the food was always on point, I wouldn’t mind paying the extra amount… but when neither is good, this place isn’t worth it.
I have since found a place in Salem that has everything this place lacks and have been much happier.
