Awesome place to dine authentic Mediterranean food. First time here and already a fan. The served quantity is too much for 2 persons. We couldn’t even finish 2 items and we were 6. Got free hummus when we checked in you Unilocal.Casual ambiance and courteous waiters.

What a great place with great food. The service was friendly and attentive. We went with 2 appetizers to share. The first was the Mediterranean Combo. It was a great sampling of food and a must try and was filling. Next was some small smoked sausages in a tasty broth. I will not try to spell what the dish was called but it was good. The Martini’s were great, we tried the salted caramel and the time square Manhattan. The list of drinks presents many good choices. We even met the owners daughter Jocelyn who was proud of her family’s place and the level of service they strive for. I have to agree it’s a great place and glad we stopped in.

Went on our first date night since becoming new parents to an adorable baby girl! This Resturant has some of the friendliest staff. Our server Jillian is a peach, I highly recommend her. Food was delicious, my personal favorites are the stuffed grape leaves and the chicken shawarma. Portions are huge, I have enough left for two additional meals! A relaxed atmosphere and pretty casual. I love the light fixtures hanging in the main dining room.

Totes delicious! Hummus has just the right amount of tahini. Bread is great. Falafel is perfectly crisp and not at all oily. It’s presented on a bed of greens with pickles and dipping tahini– yum! Tonight we had the chicken shawarma — so good. But the star of the meal here is always the fries. Oh my gosh — amazing. Service is attentive. Wait people always nice.

Excellent, service is good, food very good. Starters are good pita bread and a olive oil zatar(?) dip. The pita is either George’s or Korbani’s basically the best around. Yeah it is not the whole meal but it is like baked crack can’t lay off it. My wife likes the lamb kebabs and believe me she is fussy. Their French fries are done just right good crust and soft center. I think the best things here are the kibbee and falafel. They are both crusty on the outside but moist and tender on the inside. I don’t say this often but they are the best I have had. Almost every other place I have they were so dry and overcooked you have to take a drink of water after each bite. Most of the time I have the appetizer platter as the main course(kibbee, falafel, hummus, stuffed grape leaves and cabbage, babaganoush, tabouleh) everything is done very well.

This restaurant totally deserves a 5 star review. Best grape leaves I’ve ever had, the spicy eggplant is awesome, the falafel are perfectly cooked and the Tabuleh is to die for. NOM. NOM’s Thank you for always being consistent.

I ordered take out for lunch. The owner was at the hostess station. She was incredibly gracious and personable. The food was good and priced accordingly. I would recommend for casual dining.

A hidden gem in Salem, NH. The food surpassed the quality found in similar restaurants in Boston and Cambridge and the service was warm and personable. I split the vegetarian combo appetizer as a meal with my date — I have a healthy appetite and it was more than enough food. The hummus, baba ghannouj, and grape leaves all had the right amount of bright, lemony acidity. The tabouli tasted garden fresh. The falafel was garlicy with a crisp crust. It was relatively empty at lunch time on a Saturday which left us scratching our heads — how can a place this good, in an area where it is hard to find high quality, healthy food, go unappreciated? We will absolutely go back.

We went here for a birthday celebration(mine) with 8 people. It was my first time there and I was told the food was good. In the end I would agree. I especially liked their hummus and tabouleh(very fresh). My main meal was the spicy eggplant. My guests all raved about about the food as well. My only gripe is the décor and ambience. It needs updating.

Came back for a second visit over a year later with my younger sister(«Mediterranean? Whuzzat?!») and had an even better experience than the first visit. Firstly, there was actual live music this time — some ambient, mood-setting vibraphone jazz. We arrived before most of the Friday night dinner crowd showed up, so there was lots of space. Our server was awesome — she gave us recommendations, even for non-alcoholic drinks since I was the designated driver. We got the sampler plate appetizer so my sister could try a little bit of everything. The kibbe was the absolute best. If we knew it was going to be that good, we’d have ordered more! It was the perfect size for both of us to share, leaving juuust enough for the berry marscapone cake(which was disgustingly huge, who would eat a whole slice – no, WEDGE by themselves?!) which was also delicious. This was probably the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve had a while. My only regret was that it wasn’t a date with my boyfriend(sorry, sis, I love you but the ambience was totally wasted on you).

I’m extremely suspicious of the other reviews on this restaurant. Went here tonight and left most of the food on our plates. We had the falafel appetizer which were glue-y, burnt and flavorless. I had a salmon caesar salad and the salmon was very fishy smelling and not in an appetizing way. My husband had the kibbeh and thought that it was dry and overly salted. I think there’s a reason this place was mostly empty on a Friday night.

I totally disagree with this Unilocaler… Callie B. Groton, MA … This place rocks and the food and service has been outstanding every time. The owner is awesome ! She cares and is very attentive. She makes this place the way it is and that is all quality and a great atmosphere… I had my boy’s 18th birthday party there although small a very good dining experience. The food is nothing but outstanding and the presentation of the food and especially the salad was awesome. Jocelyn goes out of her way to make a great dining experience most pleasurable. Her staff are well trained and are friendly. My boy is graduating soon and I am having my sons party there. My son’s and I love this place. They have everything from steaks to fish to Mediterranean food which is there specialty. Everything is fresh and I would recommend if there is something that’s not right when dining there, please speak up and I am sure Jocelyn will kindly make things right !!! Thanks Jocelyn for serving great food and friendly service and I will be in touch soon to book my sons graduation party… I went to culinary school and I know what good food is and this food rocks !! If you want GOOD food and a great dining experience I highly recommend you try this place ! 5STARS all the way !!!

The hummus is delicious. Some of my favorite appetizers and meals are the hummus & taboule(so fresh!) Cilantro garlic chicken wings, spicy eggplant, stuffed cabbage. I love the meat skewers too– especially the lamb ones, I usually get the lamb kebob dinner with their house made ff. I have also tried a few of there wraps I love the Lebanese chicken and of course the lamb wrap!

We came here for lunch after shopping at Bull Moose and reading the rave reviews about this place. We checked in with Unilocal and got a free and pretty awesome hummus. Daughter ordered the Beef Shawarma and thought it was a little tough. Hubs ordered the Falafel Platter and thought it was ok. I ordered the Cilantro Tahini Haddock and loved it! My hubby finished it instead of his falafel. The sauce was great and the fish was soft! Service was very friendly. The restrooms were a little messy. A little creepy because you have to go through a door before going into a restroom. Glad we got a chance to try this place, though!

Very good restaurant! The service was fantastic and the food was very good. The salad and pasta portions were a very large size. Also the water was very fresh which sometimes tastes just weird in restaurants. would recommend to everyone! Definitely worth the visit!

I love it here! I’ve come for two party’s and both times I was porking out! If you haven’t tried the chicken in the skewers(you NEEDTO) they are so good — I piled them high and went back for thirds and fourths! The staff is quick and attentive and works as a team even when there’s a room full of people — everyone is well fed(ESP me) and everything is delicious! The fettuccine Alfredo is also my second favorite(pile) on my plate while here! The chicken in tender, noodles and broccoli are drenched in a tummy sauce… Now I’m getting hungry. To give you a best advice — you really need to come here — and unlike most places /they’re really great with groups! Can’t wait to go again! Absolutely good.

Craving Mediterranean food, I ventured here for a weekend lunch. The portions were HUGE and a fantastic value for the money. The waitress was exceptionally nice and super helpful, making recommendations for our first visit. For lunch we started with stuffed grape leaves and Baba Ghannouj. I had the lamb wrap with rice. We could not even finish half the food and I had enough for a second an third meal even. Food was very flavorful and I will definitely be back to try dinner here. what a great deal for tasty food.

Route 28 in Salem can be fast food hell. While I was in the area for the evening, I decided to look for something not so hellish. I was very pleased to discover Jocelyn’s, and very mad that I hadn’t found it sooner, especially since I’ve driven right by it several times. It has a relaxing atmosphere, great service, and most important, delicious food. We got there too early in the evening to take advantage of the Tuesday-Thursday happy hour($ 5 martinis), but that was compensated by an option for 2 glasses of wine for the prix fixe dinner for two(between $ 40 and $ 44 depending on your entrees). Prix fixe also gives you 1 salad, 2 entrees, and either 2 glasses of wine(or sangria) or 1 dessert. We used the Unilocal check-in offer to get the additional free appetizer. I couldn’t stop eating the baba ghanoush. It had a wonderful smoky flavor to it. The salads were basic ingredients but good portions — be aware that if you agree to adding feta it’s an additional $ 1 per salad. The entrees were equally enjoyable. The baked haddock was just right, flaked just right. The grilled chicken skewers were crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Sides usually include either grilled or steamed vegetables and a choice of starch. It looks like they have a nice lunch menu too. I forgot to pick up a menu on my way out. Now I’ll just have to go back again to get one. Darn.
