Very pleasant spot for a creative cocktail and some Mediterranean tapas. A bit surprised to find falafel missing from menu but explored other goodies.

Very cool place and the food is amazing! We shared a few traditional Mediterranean dishes, grape leaves, tabouli and hummus all which were delish!

The outside appearance of the building does not do it justice at all. Once you enter through the doors it’s like you stepped into an exotic oasis. The customer service has always been positive and the food oh the food so sumptuous! Drinks are decently priced and mixed well. I don’t know if 5pm is too early to dine but it has always been pretty empty the last few times I have them there with friends on a Friday. Don’t overlook this place you will regret it!

What can I say? From the fantastic seasonal cocktails to the amazing Lebanese chicken wings to the incredible hummus with meat to the tastiest entrees-can you give a restaurant 6 stars? The owner and his wife are delightful and all of the food is «homemade”-all delicious family recipes. Don’t miss it!

Was in the area recently and came to Unilocal to find a good place. Taza did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and the food was phenomenal. I had the Taza Sahan and my boyfriend had the lamb kabobs. Delish! Will definitely come back again.

If there is not already such a thing as an «adult M&M fix,» I’m claiming it here… and by «adult M&M fix» I mean martinis and Mediterranean food. I’m also claiming to satisfy that fix by dining here. If you are looking for someplace quiet to unwind with good food and drink, come here weekdays after work. If you’re looking for something a little more exciting, come here — according to our waitress Kristen — after 10pm on Thursday or right after work on Friday. Most martinis are priced between $ 9 and $ 10, and they have traditional and seasonal martinis. Plus, you get your choice of shelf liquor for them. They also have a variety of wines you can order by the glass and bottle, reasonably priced. When we were seated, we were immediately given cold water, pita bread, and a bowl of a mystery dip containing EVOO, sesame seeds, and several other items which I could not immediately identify, but their combination was sweet and tart and complex. Food here is mostly Mezza(small plates), salads, appetizers, and a limited number of dinner selections. But these also include combination plates for 1 or 2. Besides traditional/vegetarian offerings, if you’re feeling a little more carnivorous, they have meatier takes on a few items. For example, you can order grape leaves with ground beef added, or you can order hummus topped with ground beef as well. Kudos again to Kristen for realizing we had ordered too much food. We went a bit crazy with combo platters, both appetizer and dinner. She suggested we order the Taza Sahan for 1 and split that rather than the Taza Sahan to Share entrée — which is for 2, because that plus our Vegetarian Sampler, plus drinks, was too much — and she was right. We left satisfied, but not bloated, and very content.

Deceiving little spot in Methuen where the décor makes you feel like you are in a Boston type Martini bar! Cool lighting and décor throughout creates an ambiance of relaxation and or great conversation and yet offers flat screens at the bar to catch a game in the background over a mix of soothing music. The menu has a heavy concentration of Lebanese/Mediterranean eats at a reasonable price! My favorite is the hummus but if the stomach is growling I do the Chicken Shawarma Plate. Let’s not forget the Martinis especially the Tel Aviv! Into extra olives stuffed with blue cheese? Extras are always handed with a smile! The owners are a pleasure to have a conversation with and the emphasis is on service with a memorable experience! Awesome spot to unwind!

Decided to give this place a try, as much as I drive by it, was curious to see what Taza was about. The restaurant décor as everyone talks about is real nice, the seating area is small but still cozy. The drink selection is great and if you are in to martinis this is the go to spot. I got the chicken kabob, tabouli, and my fav baba ganoosh. The servings are not that big but enough to satisfy.

We went to Taza this past Saturday evening, and were pleasantly surprised. They were super accommodating as we were late guests. Told us the specials and told us specifics of the dishes. We have had Mediterranean Cuisine before and this is different, but then again its more of a Lebanese Restaurant which is totally good. I ordered the Sambusik which are tiny little meat pies, they were perfection. I also ordered the Kibbeh Flatbread which had Kibbeh pieces, tomatoes, onions and fresh Goat cheese. Outstanding. My hubs ordered the Chicken Shawarma which came with fresh sauteed vegetables and Rice Pilaf. He said he enjoyed it, our freinds who came much later ordered the Vegetarian Sampler and they loved it with the pita chipos Their desert of the day was Deep Fried Cheesecake, so amazing melted in my mouth! We will be back, if it weren’t for the price we would come back more often.

It was my first time at Taza’s tonight and I highly recommend it! On Friday night they have great live music, our waiter was super sweet & on top of things, and the food tasted great. We got a bottle of wine, hummus, lebne, kibbeh, and vegetarian grape leaves — all of which I would recommend. The place looks GREAT also. Super clean, super new, and cool layout. The only drawback is the tap water. Not Taza’s fault, but Methuen tap water sucks… Honestly, considering my biggest compliant is the tap water, that speaks for how much I enjoyed Taza’s.

Serendipity sent us back here… the restaurant we were planning in going to wasn’t serving food!!! So glad. The second trip reinforced that we love their martinis, Really good. They have revamped their menu and no longer have the chicken wings or lamb lollipops we loved but never fear… we fell in love with the Baba Ganoush and Baked Kibee. The Greek Dressing is very well balanced loved the salad. Limiting the menu seems to have helped a lot so I’ve changed my original review. We will be going back… for the fried cheesecake, yum.

I have to start by saying we’re not connoisseur’s of Mediterranean cuisine. Decided to try Taza based on a friend’s recommendation. Realized we had been to this location before when it was an Italian restaurant(Gaetano’s?) Ordered the vegetarian sampler for an appetizer. The pita chips and hummus were our favorite, grape leaves and this creamy dip much like French onion(dip garlic lebneh) were ok. We didn’t have much of the creamy dip. The dish was $ 15 which we thought was over-priced for the contents. We both ordered the chicken shawarma which included the chicken and hand cut fries. I prefer crispy, crunchy fries and these were somewhat soggy. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. Total including tip and water for drinks, $ 57. The wait staff couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. Not on the top of our list for returning but glad we tried it.

There is no wonder why Taza has all five star ratings, because this small little place is a LEGITFOODESTABLISHMENT. From what I understand the owner’s mother works or owns Korbani’s bakery down the street, and if you have never been in there do yourself a favor and go get a large bag of Syrian bread some Feta salad, and some Tabouli, Tahini, and some baked kibbeh and go home and make the most delicious wraps ever. When I heard this information it made sense to me because the MEditerranean food at Taza is soooo good, it is simple and fresh and I think that is what makes it so damn good, it is not loaded with any particular spice to hide lack of quality. I was surprised that I have been so pleased with their pasta dishes, being an Italian, and going to so many good Italian restaurants. I had fettuccine Alfredo the last time I went and instantly Unilocaled a tip that it was better than five places I could think of; for a new restaurant, their fettucini was better than Ralphie’s Café, Orzo, Teresa’s, Josephs’s Trattoria, Collisieum. That is my opinion, it was rich from the perfect blend of a rich cheese, butter, and cream, not soupy with the consistency of water. I was so mad, when my wife told me she bought a colleague from work, there last week and the filet looked out of this world with Pancetta and Goat cheese on it. I already know what I am ordering the next time I go. This place is really a must try for an awesome dinner. P. S. — They make a STRONG martini, with innovative flavors.

Absolutely love Taza. Every time we go in the service is friendly, the food is outstanding. I only wish they would let you order platters of food for large parties instead of individual meals.
