Hawg Heaven Bar

Rode up here on a Wednesday around noon. Found it really by accident. Glad we did. Cool place inside. Bartender was great. 3 words– Microwave Pork skins! I’d never seen these before, and I love pork skins. So we ordered them. AWESOME! Great with cold beers. Can’t wait to go back!

This bar is amazing. The live music is on point and the atmosphere is very comfortable and fun. The bartender Ashley is attentive, friendly and quick at getting drinks (Go in on Sunday night if you want the best experience). It is totally worth a try and their food tastes great! Fun people, great entertainment and a really nice interior. Don’t be scared, the bikers are nice ;)

Horrible service. Weekly Friday night crowd of 10+ driven away by «Gail» their new bartender, who leaves a lot to be desired. We go for the DJ and the service but a rude and disrespectful bartender will ruin your reputation. Mad props to you Gail… first Friday ever and you really messed that up! #bringashleyback

My review will focus on entertainment and the atmosphere of the bar. Many people think this is strictly a biker bar, however it’s not. It’s actually a really nice place and what’s wrong with bikers anyway. They are people like you and I. LOL. I’m not a biker myself, but have met plenty there and they all seem very cool and respectable. During the Summer months on Sunday’s, they have a live band playing outside; weather permitting. After the band has finished, there’s open jam, so take your instruments and sign up. Most biker’s leave about this time. Some day’s during the week they have poker, I just don’t remember what day’s they have it. On Friday’s, it’s primarily Karaōke; so get your lists together and go out and sing a song or two; heck you might get discovered. LOL. Periodically, there’s a band on Friday’s. On most Saturday’s they have a band playing. The genre of bands could be that of blues, country, or rock. The list of bands are posted as the calendar is updated. Stop in and see what local band is playing next. If I’m not mistaken, this is the only bar in the area that has this much entertainment as often in Western Kenosha County. The age group for this bar is mainly mid-30’s and up for the most part.

What’s not to like? Beer, Bikes, and Bands. I was just there yesterday for a bike run and have been numerous times before. In the summertime they get some great local and regional bands on the weekends. Follow them on FB to see who they have scheduled. It is a great biker hang out and if your into summery drinks, go for one of their lemonade shake-​ups. You won’t be disappointed.
