I’m late getting this evaluation done. We had just moved to Salem and Clyde’s was recommended to me, to change the locks on our new house. They scheduled an appointment, arrived on time, changed out all of the locks in my house, gave me the new keys and asked me to try them all before they left. The work was well done in less than an hour. The guy who did the work was friendly and helpful and didn’t waste a moment. Thank you!

Called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. When the tech came, he was very friendly, knowledgable, and fast. He quickly changed all 7 of my home locks and made several duplicates at a total cost of $ 115. I would highly recommend Clyde’s.

They have a huge selection of keys if that’s what you’re looking for. But if you’re going to get a key cut/​matched, go somewhere else with a sophisticated machine. Their old cutting wheels messed up my only custom $ 20 key and the worker was really rough with the file-​ing and really unsteady without delicacy in the process, leaving a terribly grooved cut on the key surfaces and didn’t slide easily through the tumblers in my cars’ lock. Luckily I took my key to ACE hardware in Stayton and they were able to straighten out the jagged cut and make it smooth, barely salvaging they key.
