Applebee’s

I just find what is sad is that this restaurant apparently doesn’t care about the review here as they never contacted me to apologize or anything. Shame on them. I haven’t been back.

Unfortunately you can’t please everyone. Sitting next to a rude table who do not know what it’s like to be a server. Nothing will be good enough for these people! Morgan did a great job! I received great food and service from Morgan! She handled the rude people with a smile! Great job Morgan! Don’t let these people get to you. To the manager, he did a great job offering a free dessert even though they don’t deserve it! These kinds of things don’t happen often here. Great service, great food at applebee’s on commercial!

Have had several good meals at Applebee’s in the past, but their new «Loaded» Brisket Enchiladas just shot blanks. First, they weren’t really enchiladas. They might have passed for taquitos — that is, if they had more meat in them. My enchiladas had only about ¹⁄₃ the meat as depicted on their menu. My ‘meal’ was smaller than an appetizer.
I was so disappointed in this dish that I started writing my complaint to their corporate office before I received my bill. I received a phone call from them a couple of days later, but their response left me cold.
I originally wasn’t going to ‘ding’ this local Applebee’s on Unilocal for what I assume is was corporate policy, but after not receiving satisfaction from my valid complaint, I feel I should warn the dining public.

Great customer service but the food was horrible. It tasted like it was frozen then popped into a microwave and sitting out for 3 days. Don’t waste your money. I got a philly steak sandwich and it tasted like they slapped Kraft singles on there and served it.

We love this applebees location. We always sit in the bar area where Cathy works. She is why we come. We never have to ask for anything. Cathy is on top of refills and is very friendly and polite. The food is good. My boyfriend always gets the honey chicken mac and cheese (he never has left overs) They have several new menu items that are yummy.

Came here on a date night with my girlfriend, and overall it was ok. The food was great, but the service on the other hand. Not acceptable. Very disappointed.

It’s your normal chain Applebee’s place. They try to make it seem like it’s a great place to b but there’s a lot of drama between servers that effects their work and the food always leaves me unimpressed. The price is not worth the food either. You’d have better luck heating up your own frozen food.

It’s a standard Applebee’s. The food is what you would expect; burgers, salad, sandwiches, beer. The parking is challenging. However, the folks that work there do really seem to like their job and are very nice. It’s been recently updated inside so it looks pretty. Seems busy most days.

The food is always good just as the other applebees but it’s almost impossible to park here. It seems like a constant fight for a parking spot. Somewhat over priced unless you do the 2 for 20 $

Over-​priced menu items and every time I finish eating I think: why did I come here again? But recently I went back and had a couple of items from the Weight Watchers menu and they were really good.
The staff is friendly.
The bar is fully stocked and a nice place to grab a drink after a movie or before. Food is okay. Atmosphere is sports bar-​ish. Okay sometimes.

Applebees is very good. I love their brew pub pretzels!!! I could eat them all day long. Services is great and food is good too!

BBQ RIbs & Fries iWas Not Dissapointed All For A Reasonable Price.

Used to be a pretty good restaurant for a chain, but the last three times we’ve been there the service has been awful, and last night the food quality was also really lacking. My medium rare steak was truly medium well instead, and my husband’s order was messed up twice; the first portobello mushroom they brought to him looked like something from the bottom of my shoe. We won’t be going back.

Starving and cranky in Salem, decided to go to the only familiar restaurant I could find. I had the blackened talapia, and wow, was it good. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend it.

It’s an Applebees, a family-​style restaurant chain.
This one leaves a little to be desired, in my opinion. I’ve been here a number of times, and other than it being a solid standby, I’m not sure why I keep going here.
The food is average price, and you get what you get. The service is pretty spot on by the wait staff, but the hosting kind of gets to me.
The last time I went, when we declined a high table and stool (which just aren’t comfortable, I’m afraid), I glanced about and saw a table next to the only two tables with a gaggle of small children, and one table on the other side of the restaurant. As the host started to lead us to the children, I asked about the other table. He seemed almost annoyed that I didn’t want a high table, because he just said, «No.»
Perhaps I shouldn’t have accepted that, but it was getting late and we had things to do in the morning. As expected, we spent the entire dinner listening to screaming children. Not really the restaurants fault, but… come on.
As for the food, it’s always been consistently mediocre. If its fried, it can’t really go wrong. The pasta is decent and the chicken strips are always good. I admit, most of the time I come here for the cheap, tall glasses of Coors Light, which don’t require a lot of taste to enjoy, they just have to be cold and plentiful.
So it’s a standby… and it’s not terrible. It just is what it is.
Oh, and yes, the parking lot is an abomination of all that is holy.

Went with the wife for the $ 3 Long Island iced tea and ½ price appetizers. Overall, I was quite pleased with the food and service, as usual. However, I ordered the boneless wings with southern BBQ sauce, but received them with buffalo sauce instead. I didn’t even realize the mistake until I was almost finished because, as it turns out, the buffalo sauce was really good. So not a big deal, it was still really good, just not what I ordered. I’m sure if I had said something, they would have fixed it, but I didn’t want them to fix something I had nearly finished.

Came to Applebees tonight for a $ 3 margarita and a $ 2 cheesecake shooter while hubby took advantage of their ½ price appetizers. We received prompt, friendly service. My wildberry margarita was delicious! I think this will be my new favorite. The cheesecake shooter was perfect: just enough to satisfy me without having to eat an entire cheesecake. And the bill was even better: $ 11.50 for 2 drinks, appetizers, and cheesecake! I added an extra $ 4.00 on the tip because the service was super! I’ll be back soon!
