Winn-Dixie

Publix was packed so i went here (everyone knows Publix is the god tier of grocery stores) to look for steaks. shittiest selection e v e r. there isnt even a fresh meat counter. staff was no help didnt offer shit but a shrug and ‘this is all we have’. should have known better and stuck with Publix but oh well. Pretty much if youre looking for meat i would avoid this store.

This one is a little dirtier than most — and the staff don’t particularly seem to mind that either. The local clientelle are apparently ok with that as well. Meat and Seafood departments not as well off as other WDs in the area. The produce is actually very good here, and their bakery too.

In comparison to the one in Seminole, this Winn Dixie doesn’t match up. It’s smaller, thus having less small floor space for products. It looks worn around the edges too. Their meat department is okay but I like the selection at the Seminole better. A curious side note. their seafood display is separate from the meat department. Normally one sees everything in a nice, neat line but here’s the seafood in an isolated section. makes no sense.
Staff is okay. heard several speaking in loud tones about who was working that night and other personal info I really didn’t need to hear.
I DO miss the other store but it’s too far to drive to on a regular basis.
Also, the façade is outdated. it is not luring from the street.
