I don’t quite get the complaints in other reviews. Yea, it’s not a Publix but what is? Store is really three and a half stars. I rounded up. I bought two hard to find items and the store didn’t have my third hard to find item. Same score — 2 out of 3 — that I would get at Publix or Walmart Neighborhood Market, just a different combination. The floors were shiny clean and the cashier smiled when I approached the register. Others have said the store smells bad at the door. Issue is the deli is right by the door. Lots of people think half the world’s deli meat is inedible, but they don’t agree on which half. So virtually everyone will find something disagreeable in the deli aroma. I realize some Winn-Dixie stores are really horrible. This is not one of those.

We keep buying expired products from this store. I like this place and it’s close to our house, but seriously somebody needs to get their shit together. Also Gil is a complete asshole and I’m tired of him.

My only reason for Unilocaling out about this Winn-Dixie is that unlike so many others it has an adjoining/part of the Winn-Dixie chain offering a full range of hard liquors. Other than that, it’s just like any another Winn-Dixie which, and somewhat of a sore point with me is that instead of having special low prices on lost leader or special budget items sticks with you having to carry around a Winn-Dixie card. Though free and I’m sure it makes commercial sense with them, my wallet is already stuffed with too many cards; hence of the two big South Florida grocery chains, I tend to do my shopping at Publix. Other than the adjoining booze sales area, there’s nothing special or of particular note with regards to this Winn-Dixie. If you’ve seen one, you’ve pretty much seen them all.

I walked into this Winn Dixie twice, a few months apart, and both times were awful. The second the doors open you’re hit with this disgusting smell that burns your nose down to your lungs. It’s like they haven’t washed the floor and deli equipment in years. It smells like a mixture of old used cooking oil, rotting lunch meat, and an overflowing bathroom. Do not step foot into this store. Go across the street to Publix and save yourself.

This is a very nice Winn Dixie store. It is large and well stocked. Very neat and clean inside. The employees are very pleasant also. This store is much nicer than the ones near my home in Orlando.

Honestly, I only go to this store because sometimes I am too lazy(or don’t have enough time) to make two u-turns in order to go to the Publix across the road. Sad, I know… Anyways, I can normally find what I need at this store. There are rarely more than two registers open, but I normally don’t have to wait long. Employees are generally younger kids that talk to each other more than the costumers. I have dealt with the costumer service employees a few times and they are fast and helpful. The security guard always makes you feel uncomfortable like he is expecting you to steal something at any moment. Other than some employees, I don’t mind this store. It just isn’t my first(or even third) choice.
