Sun Country Cleaners

In 2013 used this cleaner to clean my wedding gown. Before taking it there and when I arrived there I shown clerk the only place the gown was dirty was around the neck area and the bottom. Well a month later my gown came back from NY. It was in a large brown cardboard box so we didn’t open it at the cleaners. Two days later I decided to take it out of cardboard box but not out of cute pink box they air pack gown in. If you know anything about those boxes it has an oval shape window in front to showcase gown. To my horror there was a large brown stain down the front of my beautiful gown. Manager was nice she called headquarters and told them what had happened and that I had not opened the box. Anyway they told me to give them the gown and they would send it back. Well another month went by and finally gown came back. We both looked at gown it looked fined. Well since then gown been in my closet still in box out of sunlight and never been opened saving for my daughter for her wedding. This past month we moved and during the move my gown shifted in the box, guess what the stain was still there. What they did was covered it up with the drape of material that was in front of the gown. Once again bring gown in we will take care of it. Right now I’m so upset about my gown and all of the money spent having it clean. Not o mention my daughter may never get chance to wear it. I will never take anything else there again.

My husband took his Diesel Jacket to be dry cleaned to the Sun Country in Brandon, FL at 1025 Bloomingdale Ave.
When we picked it up it looked like it had been tumbled through the washer and dryer. It was faded and completely wrinkled. When we called to resolve the issue, Robin, the front desk lady said to call corporate. It’s been 3 months now and an ongoing issue with both owners (Sue and Barbara) going back and forth and nothing resolved.
They stated that the jacket said wash only, do not dry clean. If so, a phone call would have been nice to ask if we wanted it washed and not dry cleaned.
I then got on the phone and called some local dry cleaners, including one in Arizona. They all stated that if they came across a tag and had questions, they would give the client a courtesy call. A courtesy call is something that Sun Country Cleaners did not do. We took the jacket to be Dry Cleaned not washed.
We also have not received any compensation for the jacket being dry cleaned. Much less for what the jacket is worth.
The one thing this company lacks is customer service and organization. I am highly disappointed in the way they handle business and greatly upset that we have not received any compensation regarding the Diesel jacket.
I highly recommend not taking your items to be dry cleaned with any Sun Country Cleaners.

Love the fact they don’t worry about pennies. some places DEMAND you come up with two cents. Picked up a piece today and it was $ 14.02. Of course I had no pennies, just quarters. The woman said «Don’t worry about it» and gave me my change back. Very efficient shop to boot.
