I personally believe this place has the best gelato in the downtown area! Although it’s not the widest selection, the gelato has always had a quality taste. Soft, creamy and never melts too fast. I always enjoy stopping by to see what flavors they have that day, since there’s always something new whenever I come back to my hometown.
Service has always been sweet and very helpful when deciding flavors.
Seating is available both inside and outside. Inside is a bright, cute, modern café inspired environment. Some bar top seating is located all along the window. Outdoor seating is also a nice option since it’s towards the end of Beach Drive and a little less busy.
Always my top choice for a sweet treat when I’m in DTSP!

I was lucky enough to have been introduced to Cassis during my vacation in St. Pete. Pastries and coffee are superb. Jurate is always smiling and upbeat. Can’t wait to go back! Make sure you get the fresh squeezed OJ!

Love the manager here! She’s elegant and she does her job so well! I get my morning coffee here and it is the best is St. Pete.
I also pick up croissants and Danishes for the office and I have to say they are just like you’d get in Europe. It’s a little portal into another time and really refreshing actually.

The FIRST time ever that I felt like I was back in Paris!!! I walked in accidentally because it is just so pretty… you can’t just walk by… especially if you seek beautiful and delicious cakes and desserts… Tried the «Opera» and it was just outstanding… just like the ones I’m used to back in Paris… Sigh!!! Will go to Cassis again for sure… once a day perhaps while I’m still in town!!!

Cassis is a restaurant I will always enjoy eating at. The food is great and you can’t go wrong. Today I had the egg and cheese croissant sandwich. The croissants are the most amazing and well cooked I have ever had. They are truly authentic. The staff is always super nice and inviting and always willing to help.

Charming bakery next to Cassis Bistro on the park in St. Pete. Excellent baked goods of European style and quality, fine coffee, fresh OJ and ample patio seating make this the go to spot for locals and visitors on the waterfront.
