Go here!!! My partner and I had to swing by Petsmart and we were hungry so we stopped in for a snack. Totally expected it to be a run of the mill, strip mall, breakfast lunch place. This is an authentic French Bakery and the food is delicious. We spoke to the owner and asked how long they’ve been in business — 25 years! She said business has slowed since Walmart moved from the strip. We’re locals and it would be a shame if this gem closes. Only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner!

We really wanted to like this place. We live in Paris and thought we might find a taste of France here in Florida. We were wrong. The croissants and pastries were nothing like Paris. The«raisin danish» was disgusting, and the almond croissant was only OK. They were nothing like the pain aux raisins or croissants aux amandes you would see in Paris. OK… so we have a tough time getting bread in Florida. Surely the coffee would be authentic, right? Wrong. The coffee is offered in typical Italian terms. The young man serving us had no idea what a café noisette was. Then he seemed uncertain exactly what a café au lait was. He knew what a latte was, but apparently not how to make it… it was really bad. Finally, we thought about getting a pain au chocolat for the road. Instead of the French pain au chocolat, they had a «chocolate croissant» which was a bizarre concoction I’ve never seen in France. We passed and wondered if the original French owners had sold the business or simply given up on authenticity.

I have passed this French bakery quite a few times. I’m so glad I stopped in. There was soft french music playing which I adored. This is a quaint, somewhat out of date little bakery, but the treats make up for it. I had the apple strudel and apple juice for a pre-dinner appetizer before going out to eat with my fiancé. The strudel had powdered sugar on it and the strudel was warm on a flakey croissant. Perfect! I will be coming back to try the lunch specials and to try to the chocolate croissant!

I enjoyed the Ham and Swiss on a homemade croissant. Very affordable and delicious. The most important item they carry is REAL sourdough bread. We will be back

We love this place! We live nearby and enjoy going here on saturday morning to get their breakfast special, which is a croissant with bacon eggs and cheese with a cup of coffee or soda. Everything is made after you order it, so it will take a few minutes to fry the bacon and scramble the eggs. But it’s well worth it. Please note that they are cash only. This is a family that always works there, they are from Brittany region in france. My wife always gets the brie cheese sandwich on a baguette. Usually I will get the salami and cheese sandwich. All of their cookies and desserts are really good too.

I am in love with this place! I stopped here after I had gone to Petsmart to see what was to offer! Ohhh me Ohhh MY! I felt/feel like a little kid when I walk in here. French music playing in the background, the smell of fresh bread and sweet pastries finely compliments one another. Right away I am always greeted by a lovely little French woman. I assume she owns the place and bakes there. Very kind and soft spoken with a French accent asking what’d it is I’d like?! I had to take a moment to take in all of my options! Amazing looking fruit tart, cookies, breads, croissants of all sorts, pies/by the slice! They also have a café menu to choose from! But I always go there for the sweets! The chocolate croissant warmed up is to die for!!! It absolutely absorbs yumminess and the chocolate slightly warmed and how it melts in with the flakey dough!!! Its a pretty cold day and I was feeling so crappy and I had the idea to come here and I feel so much better and got to be all excited by the sweets behind the case. I forgot all my worries enjoying the simple things in life, like, my chocolate croissant. I can’t wait to try the pie next: P

I’ve passed this bakery a thousand times while visiting PetSmart, and I’ve always wanted to try it out. Well. I kinda wish I hadn’t. Or I kinda wish I had purchased something else. First off, they don’t take card. Cash or check only. What the heck is a check? And who carries cash? I’m not a stripper. We had the chocolate chip cookie and the apple pie slice. Now, I know everything is authentic, I don’t doubt that in slightest. It’s probably why the pie was more tart than sweet. However, the cookie was more dough than chip, and it tasted like it had been in the fridge for too long. I didn’t get to see the husband, but the woman at the counter was, as the previous review stated, prim and proper. I thought she was kind and courteous. If there’s a next time, I’ll try the croissants since everyone seems to Unilocal about it. But otherwise I don’t think I’ll be back.

Very nice authentic French bakery… and when I say authentic — I mean«swarthy, barrel-chested baker wearing a wife beater t-shirt behind the counter» authentic! Seriously, the baker was straight out of a Paris back-alley…classic. He was big and covered in matted grey-black hair as well, which tufted out from the wife beater deliciously. Also, he was wearing suspenders *underneath* the wife beater. If he had also been smoking, it would have been complete. His wife(?) made the sandwiches and had such a pleasant accent… she was very prim and proper and kind. Such an interesting couple… It’s a bit pricey here(7 bucks for a smallish croissant sandwich) — but it is top qual and delicious. I had the salami and swiss and it was extremely good. The salami was tender and amazing. The croissant was absolutely«melt in your mouth» superb. I also had a cheese pocket(a cheese Danish) which was fantastic. They include raisins mixed in with the cheesegoo, a nice touch and yummy! My lover had the chicken salad croissant, and gave it two big thumbs up as well. This is a small place tucked into a little strip mall next to a PetSmart… but it is big on character and taste. A real taste of French baking, served by real French folk… Note: They only take CASH or CHECK(bah!)…who takes checks anymore?
