Probably my favorite Starbucks location in the area. I always have fantastic service here. The staff is friendly and always ready to make a joke. My most memorable experience was stopping by after a particularly stressful day in which I had meeting after meeting. I got to talking to the barista and she offered to comp my drink for me to «hopefully help brighten my day», I have never had this happen at a franchised restaurant and was blown away. This location has my utmost loyalty.

Conveniently placed on Snelling, great staff, small and cozy, and has bike racks and seating outside for summer.

Great people, good service and clean facility. They recognize regular customers, and are a nice addition to the community on the corner of Snelling and Selby.

What a group of fantastic staff. Although their hours of operations indicated that they are open until 10pm it was actually 9pm. Last night my friends and I arrived at 8:56pm to get some coffee to go and was greeted with welcome arms. No indication what so ever from the staff regarding how soon they were closing. Such amazing service! Continuing on, they understand a true caramel lover. This was my first time at this location and I’m loving it! They completely understood my love for caramel and perfected my ratio of caramel to coffee! That first sip tasted like Heaven! Glory to the angels! I’m definitely coming back! I just wished I got their names so they can get recognized for their amazing service! Kudos to the two ladies from last night!

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and have been stopping at this Starbucks every morning for the past week. We love it. A girl named Riley«I think» always makes us leave with a smile. She remembers our names and always has a joke up her sleeve. Thanks for making our mornings more fun Riley! P.s they also make our drinks right every time, which can’t be said for every Starbucks.

Its Starbucks. They are all about the same. It comes down to the people, and this place had good people. I like the green Iced tea

I love this Starbucks. I feel bad for admitting that I love Starbucks, but I just do. Starbucks marketing has conned me into loving the lifestyle that is Starbucks. I’m in, I’m all in. This place is darling, though it is small. I enjoy coming to this one. BUT, a big reason that I like it is because there are a bunch of darling shops in the area that are fun to visit. Also, they have a parking lot, maybe ½ a block away. Which is nice.

I had a terrible experience here and one that made me official vow to never give Starbucks another penny. My friend and I were out for a walk and it started to rain so thought we’d grab a drink for the walk home. I had my 7lb puppy with me and since it was raining, I figured I would just pick her up, order my drink and go. I waited in line and *after* my placed my order(and my money was taken) I was told that I could not have a dog in the store. Since she was not on the ground, not making a fuss, nor touching anything that the 3 minutes I was in the store wouldn’t be a problem. I was wrong. The barista behind the bar was clearly annoyed by the way she kept looking at me, until finally she shouted over the bar and everyone else that she would bring me my drink outside. Of course, everyone stared and I was humiliated. I had to go outside, in the rain and wait for my drink. When my drink was brought out to where I had been exiled I was given some excuse about«if the health inspector had seen». I accept that places doesn’t want dogs – that’s perfectly fine with me, but the way the situation was handled made me so uncomfortable that I will never return to this or any Starbucks again. I used to work for this company and I know how much they love their rules and up-tight managers. I also know that the numerous times regulars carried their portable dogs into my store, my pedantic ex manager would have never treated me the way I was treated in this situation. Time to put up a sign, Starbucks, since your employees can’t be trusted to be gracious.

Friendly staff, great location. The inside is very small, as others have mentioned, but it’s a great place to stop for a quick drink as you’re walking around the Snelling/Selby intersection.

I find during my work week that this location gets my business at least 1 or 2 times. It’s convenient when running errands, and the staff is extremely friendly. The only downside is the size of the shop, as it crowds up quickly. Granted maybe this is a good thing? Just means that the other coffee shops up and down Selby and Snelling will be able to cater to the longer-seated patrons?

Besides the total crap parking, one of the better Starbucks. Generally fast with the beverages, and nice people working. Not a ton of indoor seating, but outdoor is great in the few warm months we get. Many fun places to shop and browse nearby(Snelby!).

Pros — Everyone knows their menu — Outdoor seating if it’s nice enough outside — Grab an iced tea to-go and head across the street to Patina — On the confluence of Selby and Snelling in St. Paul Cons — No plug-ins if you’re sitting outside — Not too much seating inside. So much of the place is devoted to shelving and their HUGE display case — Parking is along the street only, and there is some competition from other places for those spots. — Possibly hurting the business at Cosmic Coffee up the street on Snelling.
