I use one of their competitors that also services my building. Because they saw dry cleaning in another company’s bag with another company’s tag on it, they assumed«that I was trying out Skylark’s services,» they took my clothing and did not return it by my building’s next delivery time because they were off for the holiday, though I am told that I can come pick it up. I was told that in the future in addition to putting my clothing in a bag other than theirs and with a tag that is not theirs, I should also write on it «NOTFORSKYLARK»… Also after telling them of this issue, I am now told that I can come pick my items up from them or I can wait until Friday. I pay the premium of pick up and drop off because I don’t have the time to pick up and drop off… as a result of all of this, I am sure I am going to be charged their higher rates and now I have to wait an additional 3 business days to get my clothing back because they screwed up. It is not like I put my clothing in for cleaning at a particular time for a reason… not like I am going to wear something that was just cleaned for a wedding that I will be leaving to go to on Friday, directly from work, thus can’t pick up the late cleaning(but I am)…after all of this the manager mentioned that all she can say is «I’m sorry» Sorry does not cut it and due to this awful customer service, hopefully sometime soon they won’t be servicing my building anymore…

I accidentally had a sock in my laundry bag and they dry cleaned it, clipped it to a hanger, and charged me $ 0.00 ;)

I was initially frustrated with a pricing discrepancy but the owners graciously reached out and credited my account for the full amount of my initially order. I thought this showed class and humility so I’m adjusting my review. Look forward to trying them again.

Live in Minneapolis, have my clothing picked up and dropped off at my door with no additional charge — how could it not be 5-stars?! Seriously, they do a great job with all my nice shirts and pants. I signed up online and provided all of my billing information(billed once a month) and then on the very next delivery day got a bag with my name on it and a door hook. The very next alternating delivery day, got my wonderfully pressed clothing!

There are so many great things about this place. I love the gender-blind pricing, the green methodology, the pick-up van that will come to your home for your clothes, and the ability to pick up your clothes after hours. Adding excellent service and you have my new favorite dry cleaner. I’ve used them three times now and I’ve become increasingly impressed each time. The nice people behind the counter have all been great to talk too, friendly, and knowledgeable. The first time I went in I asked about the mission statement of the place and the lady was able to give me the whole history of the company going back to the beginning and in such detail that I asked if she was one of the founders. She was not. She was just someone who really loves the place she works. That speaks volumes to me. My clothes some back clean, pressed, and in excellent shape. It’s not often you find a dry cleaner that you enjoy going to. It’s absolutely worth a try and with the number of coupons and deals they offer, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot.

So many bad things… I loved the concept and that these guys pick up and are environmentally thoughtful. They were ok at first, the I had $ 400 Coach purse cleaned. Not only did it come back streaked dirty and dyed(the handle was originally an intentional cognac color on a chocolate brown purse. Can back covered in dark brown, including hardware). I contacted them several times with no response, when they did respond, they offered a $ 50 credit or to clean again. I took the credit, however, upon the next picke up, they charged me(on my card on file) full price, not only that, my clothing had more stains than when it left my house. I tried several times to call/email for no response and now I am out about $ 520 in merchandise plus around $ 100 in drycleaning charges with little recourse, very frustrating.

Just in time for the late April/early May cold and SNOW snap, I got my re-cleaned winter coat back from Skylark in perfect condition. Just dropping a note to say thanks to Skylark for making it right. I’ll definitely be using their super convenient pick up/drop off service in the future. For the price, it doesn’t really get any better than Skylark.

I saw a glowing review of this place in the paper, so figured I would give them a try. Sweet Jesus is this place good. They’re fast, they’re cheap and they’re the greenest option going today. Unlike my old place where I had to drag all my stuff to and from their shop, Skylark delivers and picks up each week. They make the process so simple, my only regret is that I can only dirty so many garments in any given week.

So the first reviewer, based on their other reviews, mostly uses this tool to complain about things which is to bad. However, I’m glad they provided an update. My experience was for a couple of jackets and pants to be cleaned. Like most dry cleaners, they did what was expected and their pricing was reasonable. What makes them stand out, besides their pickup and delivery service, is that they also offer a locked side room with locked lockers that let’s you pick up your cleaning after hours and that’s pretty cool. I’ll definitely use again.
