The best beer cheese soup you will ever find. The cheese curds are fresh not frozen. The chicken fingers are amazing. They also have really good ranch and honey mustard. The service is usually pretty solid. The owner is a really nice lady.

I had the fried mushrooms which were delicious! So many mushrooms! I can’t speak on anything else, but the bartender was very nice and professional.

We like the Friday happy hours. They sometimes have balloon artists. One is great, the other is blah. There is usually a wait, and the waiting area is tight, but they have a good happy hour. My husband loves loves their wings, and my son loves that they serve oreos at the end of his meal. The pours are light on cocktails — better to stick with beer and wine.

Cool place! I came in on a wednesday evening, They have a local D.J. who does a bar trivia game that coincides with the music soundtracks being played on the bars high quality sound system. Also, I noticed on the menu they have Friday fish fry and Saturday hard to find prime rib dinner. Facilities are modern, parking is ample and uncongested. If they had one of these where I live in Bloomington, it likely would become my local hang out place. Good drinks.

I’ve always had a lot of fun here. Karaōke nights here are a ton of fun and their beer menu is really nice. They have an excellent selection of sandwiches and you can choose from several different sides. I enjoy the service and the relaxed atmosphere as well.

Place was very cold. Who seemed to be locals at the bar, were having a racially based conversation. Don’t think they seen me come in, or cared for that matter. Won’t be going back.

It was Fish Friday tonight and busy, but not too loud. The Sunny Day salad was super-delish, but the chicken pot pie that my date had was bathing in oregano. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch, and I’ll probably come back for bar bingo some night.

We just got home from Sgt Peppers and weren’t overly excited. In fact, quite the opposite. We arrived at 6:45PM on a Saturday evening. Popcorn all over the floor, oak everything(chairs, booths, etc.), and the place just looked tired, run down, and somewhat dumpy. We were seated promptly at a booth in the dining room, so service was decent. The beer selection was okay, despite the lack of IPA’s on the menu, and the menu itself was full of comfort food(burgers, wraps, salads, meatloaf, etc. — nothing overly exciting). Anyway, for any restaurant I’ve never been to, I always order the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, as it’s hard to screw that up. If this wrap is to define Sgt Peppers, they’re in tough shape, as it was probably the worst wrap I’ve ever had — very bland, full of celery, and generally lacking flavor and any sort of blue cheese inside. The fries that came with it were similar to McDonald’s fries, so nothing special. All-in-all, Sgt Peppers served our singular need of needing to find somewhere to eat, but was less-than-impressive, and we won’t be back. It’s too dumpy, too dirty(popcorn all over the floor), and the food was too bland. I’d rather eat Applebees than making another trip to Sgt Peppers.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive to us, although the food was terrible. I got a burger and fries. The fries tasted like McDonald’s French fries. The burger was not great. No taste and it was soggy. Really disappointed in the food there. Nothing amazed me

Food was decent. Found the owner to be arrogant. Having not been here before, I ask the«bartender“for favorite meals, jokingly said, well do you eat here? He the stated he was the owner and made the menu. Again food decent, service was less than adequate. I chose to take the remainder of my food to go just so I didn’t have to be there any longer.

One of those local places I grew up with, know a ton of people that work here and own the place. Normally, the food and service here is pretty solid. Some tips, the parking lot can be an absolute mess thanks to it being a shared lot. Getting a table can be a bigger pain at peak times, so if you can call ahead or plan it out to avoid the peak times. Get seated in the bar area with my parents. Drinks are taking a bit longer than normal. Our waitress is pretty overloaded thanks to it being Memorial Weekend and what looks like a short staff. Food did take forever too. To the point where we almost wanted to stop our server and ask, but, couldn’t get her tracked down thanks to her trying out for the track team. I can’t remember what everyone ordered, mainly because I’m writing this a few days later and I’ve taken a few melon knocks in hockey since, but, my chow — the smoke house with sweet tater fries, was ok. The burger is one of those wonderful monsters with pulled pork on top of a patty and some cheese. I highly suggest getting a side of bbq too, because the scant amount they put on the burger gets soaked up in the bun rather quickly. Sweet tater fries were pretty meh. A lot of them were on the edge of going cold, which pisses me off. I often say you can’t really screw up fries, but, then a place will find a way. At least they do try to make it worth it with a side of special sauce for the fries. It’s a ranch mix that’s rather tasty. I’ve also had the salads here, which are your basic, average salads for a bar/restaurant. Overall, it’s a local place that’s good for a happy hour and some happy hour chow. Normally hovers between a 2 and 3, depending on the staff at the moment.

My Wife and I eat at peppers a few times a month. We love the food, Tap beer section and atmosphere. We really like seeing Rob and Julie(owners) working whether its Rob tending Bar or Julie running food, its always nice to see ownership working side my side with there staff. Rob and Julie always make a point to stop in over and say hi and ask how we are doing. The home cooked style menu is always great and they offer a nice Varity of options. I would recommend the Pot Pie! Bring your appetite you wont go home hungry, The Soup is also to die for! We also really like the fact that there is not much turnover with staff. Its nice to see the same servers and bar tenders working when we stop in for a drink and or food. I really cant say enough good things about Sgt Peppers and the staff! The only suggestion is would ask for is to have Bud Light on tap! its my personal favorite!

One of our absolute FAVORITE places to eat and hang out at! When you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly host who seats you promptly and treats you to warm, buttery, salty popcorn while you peruse the menu, which by the way, is AWESOME! It has so many options from yummy classics to delicious new specials to try each month! The gyro and bacon cheeseburger are my personal favorites! Really fun atmosphere with weekly events such as trivia, bingo, meat raffle, Vikings games specials, karaōke, and a great daily happy hour! The staff is super friendly and very attentive! I HIGHLY recommend Sgt. Pepper’s for any occasion from a catered banquet to Sunday breakfast to happy hour or dinner, drinks, and bingo!

Decent food and friendly service. It’s a nice bonus that they give you popcorn as soon as you sit down at the table. If you’re looking for a no frills meal with huge portions, give this place a go.

Rating based on the comparable food choices in the area(slim to none) but this place had bar food that was a slight cut above, as well as a menu that was not boring. Had the Philadelphia burger which was OK. Kids menu choices were also a cut above. Great service and comfortable patio dining made this pre-Skyzone stop worthwhile. That said, one kid ordered the«fruit» and it came as a disgusting assortment poured out of an opened fruit cocktail can. Definitely skip that choice.

I had the Steak and Oscar. It was very good. My son had the Alfredo with Chicken no complaints from him. The service was very good. Only complaint was the noise level. Not much can be done about that. So if you want a quiet place to eat, don’t go here.
