Got there at 8:30AM hoping to grab a donut for breakfast. There was nobody behind the counter inside, and there were only 2 donuts left in the entire display case. Left promptly.

You won’t realize the tasty doughnuts located inside by looking at the building exterior. The baked goods aren’t trendy, but if you are looking for a yummy well-priced doughnut, check out Rosemark.

This is an odd bakery but not bad. The building is dilapidated and not welcoming to retail customers. Their focus definitely seems to be wholesale(business customers), but they do have a retail counter and case. I can’t say too much about the doughnuts and sweets, but their bread is good quality and inexpensive. You won’t find artisan or rustic loaves here, just the standard yeast-leavened rectangular loaf pan variety. They have a day-old shelf of bread that is VERY cheap(like $ 1.00 or less). I think bread is their focus.

I’ve been liking this place for years! They make huge doughnuts and rolls. They also provide bread and rolls to many of my/your favorite restaurants. Many a time i have picked up treats for my coworkers and always get good reviews. Although Unilocal shows the address as So St Paul, it s on the SE corner of St Clair and Snelling in St Paul, just south of Macalester College.
