Pei Wei is a nice departure from the pizza, Chinese, and sub joints that you normally encounter while looking for some lunch at the airport. This location has limited seating, but plenty of on-concourse seating with recharging plugs built into the seats just outside. I almost always get the Pei Wei spicy chicken with fried rice and it has traditionally been pretty good, but the service is not very friendly and it takes a little bit too long to get your food. As long as you have a little extra time and know what you want, Pei Wei is worth a shot while you are at MSP.

One of the best Asian restaurants in terminal 1MSP. Since everything is made onsite and doesn’t sit under heat lamps, it is a bit more fresh and appetizing. The prices are a little higher but I think it’s worth it for satisfaction. The meat seems of better quality too. They need to start labeling their cooler items though.

OK so its an airport meal. I enjoy Pei Wei’s regular restaurants. This was perfectly acceptable as a place to get decent food. I had kung pao chicken which was nicely flavored. Not as a good as at the regular restaurants, but when I am at MSP with time to kill I will search it out.

It is 6:00am and I was told it is closed. Different from the information. Once I came here that I was told they open at 6:00… Oh well… They didn’t even know store hours and they were asking each other and then said 7:00! Lol. Really?!

This is Lee Ann Chin with a restaurant atmosphere. The quality is the same. This is a very Americanized menu with a deceptive Asian name. It’s as fake as all the Asians you know that weren’t born in the USA. whose real name is Ding Dong Lee and goes my «Danny Lee». If you like Lee Ann Chin. You will like this place. If you like more authentic Asian meals.. Go elsewhere. No offense to Ding Dong Lee of course

Pleasant front line staff, reasonable wait time for food. Chicken teriyaki. .not so great. Chicken was friend, tough, and dry. The rest of the dish was okay. Nice To Have Some FREAHVEFGIESAND Good Brown rice.

I’ve only eaten here once — today — and it was disgusting. The first sign that an Asian restaurant won’t be any good is that there won’t be any Asians eating the food. I should have taken that as a warning sign, but I was hungry for warm food. Big mistake. The teriyaki chicken is a JOKE, and tastes like its been soaking in marinade all day(it’s only 2:30pm). There is almost no rice either, and the food took almost 25 minutes. Did they have to go catch a live chicken first? Wow. I’ll never eat at any Pei Wei again. Ended up throwing away most of the food. I did eat the chicken after I used a napkin to wipe of all the disgusting excess sauce. Beware! You’ve been warned.

Ordered the caramel chicken with pineapple and peppers. Not too spicy. Was hesitant to try bc of the name but tasted like a typical sweet/spicy Chinese dish. DH had the honey chicken– that I did not like. «Honey» sauce was thick goo, yuck. Came with side of white or brown rice. Took a while until food was ready.

I was at the airport in Minneapolis and saw a Pei Wei and was so excited that they were open for breakfast. It took forever to get my breakfast sandwich and I have to say it not really that good and the bacon was so greasy the bread was soggy from the grease. The coffee was so hot I blistered my tongue, roof of my mouth and lip! So I wouldn’t do breakfast again.

Happy day– landed in time to order breakfast! Not disappointed, as it was a full portion and very tasty. One of the little pleasures of travel.

I usually love this place. Great staff and great food. However, today I got super sick after I ate. Not sure what the deal was. Hopefully it’s just a fluke. Other than that, it my fav place in the Msp airport. Check it out.

Still like going here. The kung pao chicken is all right, The real treat is watching the people waiting for their food. They place their order and then get a little light up «pager» device which goes off when your food is ready. The food is so slow coming out of the«kitchen»(a wok right behind the counter) that people were freaking out, screaming, on the verge of general anarchy. Saw one guy wait like 20 minutes, then just walked off so he would not miss his plane. Good stuff… so entertaining.

For airport Asian, it’s not bad. Not the best value, but better prices than PF Chang’s, and definitely a step up from Wok N Roll. I didn’t think the portions were all that large, however. The entrees I have ordered are the honey chicken and caramel chicken. Both use white meat and light breading(which is nice, given the propensity for fast-Chinese to be more breading than meat, and very poor quality meat at that). Pretty sweet-tasting, but not overwhelming. They use a good mix of decently fresh herbs as well, which adds a nice touch and also some color.

Awesome food. Zero eye contact from anyone who worked there, including the cashier who mumbled something I couldn’t decipher. The type of water on my receipt was not what I picked up. Not sure if they all ring up as one brand or what.

Pretty good Chinese food, at least the best in the airport. This place is a little expensive for what you get but it is good. My favorite is the chicken lo mein.

The Mongolian Steak was mediocre. this is at least a step above poor. It should stave off hunger until I get back to Boston.

Worst Pei Wei ever, and a huge disappointment since I’m such a big fan. My food took forever, and it was overcooked, greasy, and so salty I ended up throwing most of it away. Gives a great chain a bad name.

This was a great find for lunch before flying out. The seating area was awesome, the best in the airport! We had the chicken bahn mi, caramel chicken and a kids teriyaki chicken meal. The bahn mi was good but the ratio of bread to filling was off and it was slightly dry. The caramel chicken was a hit, very tasty. The kids meal was ok, lacking in flavor but it was a good size portion. It’s too bad there aren’t more of these in the St. Paul area because I would eat here again!

Food is great. The service & staff, not so much. Took 20 minutes to complete my order — which, you’d think, in an airport would merit a warning. No such luck. When I complained, the lady behind the counter said«I would have told you if you asked.» In other words — it was a known problem and it was my fault not asking, not theirs for failing to inform customers that they were running slow. Right. Sad, because the food was actually quite good. I just wish I’d had adequate time before my flight to enjoy it.

The best Asian option at MSP. Located near C3 it has nice seating outside and inside… Limited menu compared to a full service Pei Wei, but nice selections. I had the lettuce wraps(a bit too salty and too much soy sauce), and a children’s meal(teryyaki chicken). Both were good… better than other Chinese food choices in MSP.
