Love From Minnesota

This is the center of this ’”complex”. The door handle is made of faux antlers. As you go in the first section is clothing. They have some gorgeous stuff. Heavy gift stuffs all through the place that borders on kitch yet very practical. Of course most of these items are holiday oriented and seasonal. A little further on there is furniture that you will be tempted to decorate some room, or an entire cabin with. Even the thousand plus dollar double bed. They carry Watkins brand items, and lots of soaps and smelly things. It’s between the Dunn Bros and Patti’s retro candy and ice cream. A centrally located bathroom. You’ll wonder why you don’t come here more often.

Recently we stopped in the Love from Minnesota store with a group on women from Wisconsin. Hmmm, how does that work.
Everyone seem to find something either for themselves or as a gift. They had a great clearance section with a very large selection.
I think this is a great place to pick up something for your mom or for someone from out of town.
I’m going to check this place out at Christmas time for some neat things.

I stopped in here to buy some gifts to send to a friend who lives in a different country and I feel like I hit the jackpot! A nice combination of items made by local craftsman and pure Minnesota Kitch. Here are some of the treasures I found:
~Minnesota Bear Poop (Chocolate covered Pralined Peanuts)
~Pure Maple Sugar Candy (in a nice box made in Milaca MN)
~Love From MN candy Bar (made in New Jersey)

~MN playing cards (They had a lot of varieties of these)
~A Notepad with a bear on it
~Abdallah Chocolates (I LOVE Abdallah chocolates!)
~A Cosmetic bag with moose on it
~Soy Candles
I am very pleased with my haul!
As for the store overall — it seems a little confused with the registers. They have a register set up in three different areas and they are spread pretty far apart. While shopping I had one sales person take my stuff and set it at a register for me. Then when I headed to the same register to check out I was asked to check out at the register by the Dunn Brothers entry. When I got over to that register there was no cashier and no stuff. So I went back to the other register to get my stuff — and then the lady who told me to go to the other register got on her walkie talkie and called a cashier to that register. It was a little confused.
I was told as I went to the check out that I hit a magical time where everything was 20% off. It would have been nice to know that before I was headed to check out — but can I really complain that I got 20% off my purchase!!! Sweet! If you purchase anything that is marked down make sure you keep an eye on it at checkout as I had a discounted item that was rang at full price.
I will be back to this place again. They sell a lot of great stuff that would make awesome gifts for my family and friends.
