Lilydale Garden Center

I’m so disappointed by Lilydale Garden Center. I have been a happy customer for six years. I have spent hundreds of dollars on perennials over the years from this garden center. For my first mother’s day, my husband gave me a gift certificate to purchase something from Lilydale Garden Center. I thought about the purchase for months, finally deciding on a really pretty birdbath (about an $ 80 purchase, which is significant for our family) that I was excited to put in our backyard and look at for years (I hoped!).
A month later, I found the top bowl of the bird feeder on the ground (it looks like it had originally been glued on). I called the garden center to see if I could exchange the broken feeder (which I believe just fell apart!) and they refused to let me exchange the feeder or even purchase a new one at a reduced price.
Sadly, I get better customer service at a big box store! I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Boo Lilydale Garden Center for not helping me remember my first mother’s day with happiness!
