Fort Snelling Tennis & Learning Center

Solid tennis experience, all around!
I’ve played here a couple of times with my USTA league and here are my observations:
–Well-​maintained courts
–Plenty of parking
–Nice viewing/​waiting area with plenty of tables and chairs
–Fees on par with other tennis bubbles
–Changing room facilities are simple, but have everything one usually needs in a non-​gym facility
–The staff at the front desk is always friendly
–There’s a big focus on youth education, which is awesome. However, it’s still strange to me that they have a couple of strictly junior-​size courts. Most kid-​sized courts are just taped on to full-​size courts to maximize space and versatility… so it just seems a little limiting. On the other hand, it probably makes the kids feel special.
–It’s well-​lit near the center, but it’s a dark, deserted area at night if you get lost** (this building is pretty much the only thing around… which I discovered after Google Maps gave me the wrong directions and I ended up in the middle of nothingness at Fort Snelling).
**It’s not actually hard to find at all. I was just blindly following the machine, which is a mistake.
