I wish I could say I recommend them (since dry cleaners open on Sunday’s can be hard to find), but they seem to close and open whenever they feel like it (not according to the hours listed on their website, on their door, or on their voicemail). Currently scrambling because they are closed an hour early tonight (with no notices anywhere) and they have the articles of clothing I need for tomorrow…

I’ve been using this local family-​owned Dry Cleaner for years and they are like family. Not one issue in several hundred items having been cleaned. Check in on Unilocal or a text special to get discounts. Friendly, good price, and consistent great work on everything from blankets to suits and dresses

This place is phenomenal. I’ll admit, I’m pretty new to dry cleaning, prior to going to E&J the only experience I’d had with it is my winter jacket. Now I do nearly my entire wardrobe. I moved to Grand Avenue two years ago and started bringing my clothes there and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. Terry is awesome. Every time I’m in we have a 20 minutes conversation even if I’m running late to something. I actually moved over to Uptown now, and I still drive back to Saint Paul for this place on a bi-​weekly basis. Great service. Great people. Quick turnaround. And I’ve never had an issue with any of my clothes. You even get a 5% discount just for checking in there on Unilocal.Highly recommend.

Wow! Absolutely outstanding place. Friendly staff unlike their neighbor at the laundromat. Least expensive wash and fold service around and they clean and preserve wedding dressing, clean rugs and more. Stop in. They are always running a special.
Switched laundry service after 8 years because I want to put my money where it matters. They don’t seem wasteful or annoyed by fine laundering. They are quite popular and super high quality.
Check them out and reclaim your time and piece of mind.

I highly recommend E & J Dry Cleaners. After years of searching for a trust-​worthy cleaners that does not ruin your clothing (especially sweaters), I am so greatful to have found E & J Dry Cleaners in St. Paul! They do a great job on ALL my clothes, by far the best I have come across, so great that I am willing to drive 35 miles to get there. Thank you E & J for delivering the service that is above the rest!

This is a family owned business that is run much like those from years ago. The whole family works there and all are extremely polite and efficient. Terry is just excellent and knows fabrics inside and out! Everything I’ve ever brought them has returned clean and lovingly cared for-​even the trickiest stains. They have incredibly fast service so you’re not waiting days for things you need back right away. They are always friendly, and I mean always, but are extremely professional as well. They offer frequent deals from 10%-30% off on specific items or on certain days.
Just an excellent business.

Stopped in here last night with a full arm load of things to be dropped of to be cleaned. I have a dress and some sweaters cleaned here about a year ago and have always had good experiences. When walking in, it didn’t seem as clean as it has in the past. There wasn’t anyone in the front of the cleaners when I walked in. I could hear «the fresh prince» playing on the tv in the back room but never heard a person back there. I did everything I could to get someone’s attention. Coughed loudly, yelled hello, knocked on the counter… I also tried opening the front door again, checking to see if it had a bell. I stood in their «inviting lobby» for over 5 minutes waiting and finally left. Don’t think I’ll be back.

I used this cleaner for years but never can again. I left over $ 600 (in cleaning cost) worth of rugs there while I moved. We went to pick them up, not there, promised the next week, repeat this cycle 3X. So I called up and asked for the owner. As I called over the next nearly 3 months, I got to know the young people behind the desk quite well. They were so friendly and polite. But not once, after leaving more than 10 «we need to talk about these rugs» VMs, would the owner ever call me — not even once. It took months to get the rugs, he never called, the kids promised he would call, promised me they would hand me messages personally, he never called. ONE PHONE call just explaining why the rugs took so long and maybe a weekly phone call to update me (which the kids could have done) I would have been satisfied. But this was so disrespectful of a long-​time customer. I just cannot go back.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I’ve had my shirts, pants, and suits done at several places in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and DC and this is far and away the most professional, most pleasant, and most reasonable place I’ve used.
The owner and his staff are great and always welcoming and kind. His staff — even though some look like they’re in high school — are awesome. A great business and an asset to the community.

Shirts come back cleaned, pressed, and on hangers as requested, but I ask for «light starch» and they always come back heavily starched. Will probably start taking them elsewhere.
