I love the combined effort with caribou and breugers to make an amazing one stop speciality shop. The inclusion of a semi private meeting area in the back with white boards is amazing! Also the homey touch of a gas fireplace really adds warmth to the location.

I’ve stopped at this Caribou on numerous occasions in the early afternoon for a decent cup of dark roast coffee and have been denied every time. The excuses have been varied — one guy said it’s Caribou corporate policy that we cannot change, all«baristas» have refused to provide the name and number of the manager, one said I don’t like dark roast coffee, another claimed light roast has more caffeine than dark roast and is thereby more suitable for the afternoon, another said no one else asks for a dark roast. Unbelievable! One time I needed to wait for a new pot to be brewed and offered to buy two large cups if it could be dark roast. Nope. Store policy — no dark roast or de-caff available after 11:00. It seems insane to me that Caribou, a place that holds itself out to be a coffee shop, only offers one premium priced roast in the afternoon. Is this the same for EVERY Caribou? Most gas stations offer more variety than that!

Easily the best place to get coffee in this neighborhood. The sandwiches are good, too. Remodeled space is very nice. Good service.

Friendly staff and nice convenient location make this place enjoyable to check out once in a while. The seating area and inconsistency with drinks means it can be very different from one visit to the next though. I’ve found drinks here to vary in size occasionally which is quite annoying. This place is more of a quick stop off rather than a ‘sit down and enjoy a coffee’ kinda place in my opinion

The atmosphere here is not like you would expect from a Caribou Coffee, it looks like a converted diner, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s a fantastic place to study, very quiet and has large tables, basically a library with coffee instead of books.

I like this caribou just fine. There is a lack of places to get coffee on the east side… considering I boycott swede hollow café and that getting a latte at McDonalds is kinda trashy for me. I doubt they’re rocking a breville; likewise, I doubt the competency of any such operator of their machines. I’m not saying Caribou is the best cup of coffee in the twin cities, but for location and speed, it works fine for me.
