Caribou Coffee

The coffee here is pretty good– I always go for either cold press or crafted press. I would also recommend trying the espresso coffee cake or a chocolate chip cookie (both are always consistently excellent). The baristas are always very nice and friendly. It’s a nice spacious coffee shop with good seating, and is located in a very nice neighborhood.

Stopped at the Caribou Coffee, to grab a couple of lattes before an hour long presentation about going the U of M, my wife was attending. «Like a good husband, Latte’s where there…» even though she asked me to get her a tea… I knew what she really wanted!
Well It appeared that the gal making our lattes was in the training mode so I was not expecting the best latte I have ever had, but it was pretty good. Comparable to other Caribou ones I have had before!
I’m not the hugest fan of the coffee at Caribou but I do like the environment of the coffee shops, usually very comfy and accessible for work meetings, studying, or zoning out and getting some work done! Some even have fire places! You won’t find that here, as it’s just a part of the study area for the college! But let just say I was glad I found it. So were other’s, because there was quite the line to get drinks!
The staff was nice and the coffee was good! A-​OK by me!

Just like any Caribou I’ve been to, they do not have a dark roast cup of Joe in the early afternoon. Light/​medium roast or decaf are the choices. This is a coffee shop, right? People are nice enough, but why bother?

What do I like about this particular Caribou? 1) the staff (employees are friendly without being creepy), 2) free refills (’nuff said), and 3) the building itself.
The main section has glass windows facing west and south which are really nice on a chilly afternoon – the sun streams in to warm you up, and the overstuffed chairs are against the western glass wall, next to a fireplace. The large table for noisy students is separate from this area next to the coffee equipment, so the separation is appreciated if you’re trying to focus.
I wish Caribous would put a password on their wifi; I’m not a techie, but it makes me nervous based on the paltry knowledge I have about identity theft…

I’m really only reviewing this store because I felt bad that it didn’t have a rating or reviews…
They’re pretty standard as far as Caribous go, the people were friendly and open to conversation which is better than some of them. Coffee came quick and I was on my way!!!
