I was visiting from Chicago, and every interaction I had was excellent. Front desk to massage therapist to owner, everyone I worked with knew my name, made me feel welcome, and had genuine conversations with me.
Massage was rockin: Arturo, I think? Very accommodating, did a variety of deep tissue, relaxation. Very kind.
Float: Whoa. I was skeptical, but this was pretty great. Be sure to check out the book of post-​float artwork on the coffee table. I did the larger room-​size tank, which I recommend for first-​timers. Don’t rub your eyes!
Infrared sauna: Productive sweating AND Netflix/​Pandora in the sauna? Yes.
I got the first-​timers discount on many services, but for what you’re getting, all their full price rates are beyond reasonable. Also, you can tip on your credit card, which is such a convenience. I can’t wait to make another trip to town to visit them. Thanks again, Awaken, for a great afternoon!

Tried the relaxing float tank and it was amazing! Nothing like being totally isolated from noise and distractions while your body can totally relax. I never knew of this relaxation method before but it is fantastic. Also used the infrared sauna which feels great to get a good sweat in and warm your whole body up. Highly recommend trying this places float tanks.

I’ve been holding off on writing this review because it’s my best kept secret for massage and wellness. Oh well, Awaken For Wellness deserves to be celebrated!

This place is clean, friendly, and very client-​centered. Beautiful infared saunas that truly make you feel lighter, more fresh, and rejuvenated after just 30 minutes of sweating. Amazing massage therapists that CARE and LISTEN to your health needs.
Getting a massage here, from Benjamin, is something that I look forward to anytime I get a day off. He’s the best massage therapist I’ve had and I’ve had massages from places like Sabai Body temple, Massage Envy, Spalon Montage… even massage centers in L.A., Honolulu, and Chiang Mai Thailand. What makes the difference is that the therapists at Awaken take the time to get to know you, encourage feedback, and go the extra mile to recommend exercises, stretches, or even health products that will prolong your healing process.
Thank you to Awaken’s staff for being a wonderful, community-​based, and welcoming center for health and wellbeing. I think I’m addicted!

I have been going for the infrared sauna. It’s great for detoxing and general health. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend the sauna.

Tony gave me the best shiatsu massage I have ever had. It beat the ones I used to get in Japantown in SF, hands down. I highly recommend this place. Very professional and good prices. I will be going back after a tough weekend playing hockey!
