Dairy Queen

First of all, what happened to the chicken strip baskets? The chicken used to be decently sized, but now there is probably more meat in a single McDonald’s chicken nugget than there is in an entire 4-​piece basket here. Blizzards are still delicious, so that is a saving grace. For a meal, this is not a place to go, but if you want some dessert, I highly recommend it.

Always clean! Service with a smile. A no nonsense staff who purposes to care for their customers. Food is always fresh. No stale burger buns, etc. Too bad there isn’t an option to give more than 5 stars :)

Most dairy queen workers are numskull kids, but not at this dairy queen. They are efficient and always get my order right.

I’ve been to many Dairy Queen locations and this one is by far the best! they always have accurate and friendly service. The Blizzards Re always THICK and mixed properly and their portions are larger than other stores because they use the dome lids not the flat drink lids. The store is well kept and clean. my favorite!

I’m chowing down on my cheeseburger (with bacon) and sitting in the parking lot realizing I’m becoming addicted to Unilocal.That being said… Here’s the review– the DQ closer to my home does not feature Burgers. Some DQs only feature the ice cream, orange Julius, and a limited menu for food. This DQ is a Grill and Chill meaning they have an array of burgers and ice cream.
Their burgers are pretty tasty for fast food. I’m not one for the mainstream fast food M that is on all the corners. This burger does have a nice taste. The fries are really good too. The people are really nice here a well. So far I have not had many issues. They messed up my order only once in the drive thru but honestly that isn’t bad compared to the mess ups at other chains!

It’s been a long time since I have gone to DQ. I was out of town and needed me some ice cream because it was hot. So I got the Sundae in the Chocolate Covered Waffle Cone. I chose the Turtle Sundae of course. As if eating a Turtle Sundae wasn’t fatty enough, you get to chew on the chocolate covered Waffle Cone afterwards. I still like my local ice cream shop better but this satisfied my craving for ice cream.

This is by far the very BEST Dairy Queen EVER!
Here’s why:
— the ice cream isn’t runny
— the blizzards are mixed evenly: even at the bottom of the cup
— the ice cream is filled above the cup (so they use those cool tall lids)
— every blizzard is served upside-​down
— the staff is friendly AND
— they never skimp on anything
I don’t care where I am, I’ll make a special trip out to St. John to this DQ to satisfy my cravings. And they started servng the Pumpkin Pie Blizzards already :)
