If your looking for a place where the manager(owner?) will take your fork and dig open your burrito, while your sitting at the table, to prove the last ¼ of it does in fact have shrimp inside this is where it can happen. Couple that with canceling your order to add shirmp and give you a ton of attitude. The most atrocious dining experience never going here again. Worst service!

Absolutely love coming here as well as the Napa location. Their burritos are about the size of Mt. Rushmore. Genuine authentic Mexican food. A little on the pricier side but well worth it.

Solidly good Mexican fare. Burritos appear to be their specialty. We had two of them and they were tasty. Informal dining experience– you order at the front and then find a table.

You know this place is authentic when most of the patrons are Hispanic. We came here during harvest season and we had a few tasting already so we were looking for a place serving good hardy food not the fancyshmacy places Napa is filled with. Tucked away sandwiched between other small eateries is Villa Corona. Upon entering, this tiny little place is painted with bright colors and decorated with native art work. This is a sit down place, but you order your food at the counter and they bring it to you. My husband ordered a vegetable burrito smothered in green sauce. I ordered a small nacho with carne asada.(yes I know, not very Mexican at all). However, chips and salsa is not free here. We were so tipsy that we ordered one to munch until our food gets here. They were kind of stingy on the salsa. They only provided a small 4oz container. The salsa is also not very spicy. They had some bottled habanero sauce at the table so we added some to it which made it awesome. My hubby ended up asking for more, and they were obliging. So don’t be shy to ask; after all, you paid for them. The burrito and nachos came shortly. Mmmm… mmm. mmmm… soooo good. The burritos was super big and the carne asada on the nachos where cooked perfectly. This is a wonderful none expensive lunch for Napa Valley. Wonderfully delicious food where the workers come and enjoy a decent meal after a morning of grape picking, you know it’s gotta be good. We are a fan and will return again and again.

This was a great choice! Family and kid friendly, very fast service. We ordered 5 different meals, all tasted great. Salsa was great and the chips were the bomb. Portion size was good for the price!

Got their rice, bean, and cheese burrito with wet special which included sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes inside. This burrito was very tasty and of a great size. It could have been warmer but it was a big issue. Sauce was bold and the beans were well cooked. Ambiance of the place was homey and chill. Nice little seating area out front as well. Great prices compared to what’s around. Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for Mexican food. Bean, rice, and cheese burrito 4.5÷5

The most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever tried. I am Latina, grew up in NYC. I’m telling you: this place is really great and is the real deal. Great price and service.

St. Helena’s Villa Corona is on the beautiful stretch of Highway 29 that is Main Street. They’re open for breakfast now, but in the evenings, parking can be tricky. They have excellent service. The chile relleno burrito is superb, as is their assortment of hot sauces. They make a good fish taco that comes with guacamole, and their shrimp taco has a wonderfully creamy spicy sauce. It’s affordable for downtown St. Helena. The seating(and parking) is limited, depending on the time of day. A nice downtown St. Helena spot.

Better than the napa location! Chips/salsa are free but smaller. Tacos are GIANT! I rarely finish anything from here the portions are huge. Too pricey though, and personally think the quality of the food at Aztecas is more authentic and delicious!

Great salsa, wish the chips weren’t coated in grease. My pork in chili verde burrito was SO dry and rather unpleasant on my taste buds. Luckily the other ingredients were good enough to fill me up after tucking those pieces to the side.

I have read all of the reviews and eaten here twice. I just can’t see what the big deal is. Starting with the chips and salsa, I found the chips almost stale and the salsa watery and bland. There just wasn’t anything special about the burritos which were soggy and tasteless. I decided to try something different my second trip. It took them two try’s to get my order correct with no urgency in getting me my food. When it did come it was cold and something I would expect from Taco Bell. Unless you just want to sit and be seen on Main Street St. Helena, go to Azteca. Better food, cheaper prices, better service. If this place was the only Mexican restaurant within 30 miles it might get another half star. That is unless there was a Taco Bell next door.

I almost passed this little Mexican buvette squeezed in between two other small shops on Main Street in St. Helena. I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat on my way to a winery and ordered some chicken tacos. This is a casual Mexican restaurant with counter service where they bring your food to the table. They did bring chips and salsa to our table which was delicious! My tacos were muy sabroso. Very filing. Free refills on the fountain drinks and free chips and salsa. The food was authentic as evidenced by the crowd and my experienced palette. If your looking for a casual dining experience and love authentic Mexican fare check out Villa Corona.

I SWORE their guar had eggs in it. I thought for sure! Nope wrong. Thanks to the super nice waitress that brought me out the entire container to prove to me. Being vegan and all its a HUGE deal so I was gladly putting my foot in my mouth. The food was great. VEGANFRIENDLY! We all had something different and it was all really good. The kids had tacos which they were super nice about putting on separate plates. I had a tostada and hubby had a burrito.(the flour tortilla has lard in it but he isn’t as strick as I am) and we all had a wonderful meal. Good service Good prices Good food We will happily be back.

I love this place. Very good Mexican food. I rate this place as «high quality» Mexican. And you do have to pay for it but it is worth it. I have never been disappointed. The portions are large, I can never finish my plate so I have something for a good snack later. You pay at the counter and seat yourself. I have had the same server every time I have come here. She has a big smile, very perky and friendly.

With an owner who knows patrons by name and burritos the size of your head — what’s not to like? It didn’t feel too authentic but it met the expectations I had set in my mind for a Mexican restaurant in St. Helena. It was a nice, on-the-downtown-strip spot with friendly service, good prices and an easy-to-enjoy menu. If I’m back in St. Helena and I have a hankering for a burrito or tacos — I’ll go back here.
