Overlooks the golf course and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see some swans wandering through the greens. Lunch really capped off our little getaway: *pear soup, creamy rich, satiating, the earthiness of the maitakes balanced the dish *kale chips, super light, great pop from the honey mustard sauce *bright green juices *salmon, cooked medium rare, my favorite Prices are reflective of the service, quality of ingredients and location. Fresh juice was $ 16/glass and kale chips were priced at the same. Good eats, portions are very conservative, room service is much more generous.

Sunday brunch on the patio cannot be beat. I really like the atmosphere and the food here. It is a very relaxing beautiful setting for a quite brunch. Took the small dog on the patio with no problem. I have dined here numerous times and will continue to return.

Staff is great. Highlight — The burger — was pretty amazing. The meat was very soft and texture was perfect. They serve it the right way, just cheese and mushrooms on a toasted bun. Really excellent burger. Other — Breakfast — Corned Beef Hash was really good with their smoked ketchup. Nice dish. Eggs benedict was well done as well. Food is nothing crazy, they stick to traditional dishes, but they are very well prepared and very nicely done.

Ambience is magical. Wow! Service is amazing. My bf and I were splitting food and they presented everything on separate plates for us. Food was outstanding. In particular I LOVE the ahi ceviche and the salmon. Special note– I have food allergies and they special prepared food for me. They went completely above and beyond what any other restaurant has done. Overall, I highly recommend. It was so awesome we went for dinner and again for lunch the following day. ;)

Located adjacent to the golf course at the renowned Meadowood resort, this tony restaurant offers a small but well stocked bar and wine list. It also sports a short but eclectic menu, running from ahi tuna and charcuterie to wagyu beef. Dining indoors or on the spacious patio with terrific views is supported by an outstanding staff — trained classically and they make every effort to assure your visit is special. Our server(Dandy) made our visit special — from handling all the wine service, the kids and the adults — providing impeccable service. The food was terrific: Appetizers Shishido peppers with black sea salt Ahi tuna cerviche Burrata, fruit and salume Entrees Salmon Wagyu burger with cheese, mushrooms and smoked bacon My root beer float to end the evening provided perfect closure. Bravo all around!

Fantastically executed service. Meadowood Grill manages to be attentive without being intrusive. Our server made wonderful recommendations and really made us feel like the only guest she was serving. Our water and ice drinks were never empty. Looking around the restaurant I realized that an elderly couple seated near us must be regulars. All the servers knew their names and their regular orders. The servers carefully assisted the couple and you can tell that they cared about them. And guess what? Those same servers still managed to make us feel just as welcomed. Kudos!

Before you die make sure to experience the lemon pancakes. I don’t even like pancakes but I think I’d sell my kids for these. TRYIT! Oh yeah, don’t forget the spinich eggs benedict they were great too.

Very disappointed in the Cobb Salad for $ 20. Dressing appeared to have sat on lettuce for several hours. Plopped in a shallow bowl, was to have featured grilled chicken, hard boiled eggs and garden tomatoes. The chicken was cubed so small, it was difficult to find it in the soggy lettuce! Pieces of a hard boiled egg was all I could find. The best part of the salad and the reason I gave it two stars, were the fresh and colorful variety small tomatoes! If not for these tomatoes, the salad would earn one star. As for the ambience, it was pleasant to sit on the deck overlooking the golf course.

Amazing service and food in a great casual but elegant setting surrounded by beautiful greens. The brunch here is a fantastic deal — not like a typical hotel restaurant where they take advantage of a captive audience. The huevos rancheros is the best I’ve ever had and probably the most elegant. The wagyu burger is juicy and very filling — on the better end of sit down restaurant burgers. The avocado toast is beautiful and filling. Service level here is absolutely top notch. I’d come back here in a heart beat.

I gave 4stars for service. Very attentive maybe because it was Monday afternoon and only few tables had occupied. 2 stars for foods, the dishes are as same as any other places nothing interesting. 5 stars for the surrounding, very relaxing place to be.

Went to The Grill at Meadowood as a recommendation from a friend, and absolutely loved it. The hostess Jacqueline, and our two servers Shanon and Rebecca were really helpful and gave great tips about the food on the menu. What a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend getting the tacos if you go for lunch. Can’t wait to go back and try their brunch sometime soon!

Ended up at The Grill at Meadowood for Mothers Day brunch. Located in the heart of Meadowood it can be somewhat difficult to find. The weather was perfect and we sat outside on the deck amongst the trees over looking the golf course. Nothing short of perfect. Both the food and service were nothing short of fantastic. What I assume was fresh squeezed orange juice was perfectly sweet/tart and full of flavor. Ordered the huevos rancheros which was cooked perfectly. The eggs were sport on, tortila was crisp not soggy, the beans and sauce had flavor, and the pepper jack cheese brought a little heat. They were also able to accommodate me with extra jalapeños. Some might say the service is slow but it is the pace for many higher end establishments allowing for actual conversation. Prices are somewhat high but nothing crazy for Napa.

We love returning here over and over again. It is one of our go to places whenever we are in wine country. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious. Even our little daughter loved the food the last time we went. Their English Pea Salad is my favorite. Super refreshing! Sit outside if you have a nice day and you can enjoy the verandah.

This is my first 5 stars rating. All I can say is that the food was perfect(and I’m pretty picky). Wonderful wild ahi ceviche, Snake River farms beef and amazing and unique chocolate mousse. Highly recommend.

I always adore going to the grill for their delicious Wagyu burger and finishing off with a glass of Mondavi Moscato. I really do hope they add more lavender to their ice tea, because the one time they did that it was absolutely fantastic. Absolutely one of my favorites for a simple, fresh and relaxing meal.

Came here for restaurant month in Napa and the food was on point! I am going to mention it *was* a bit sad to bypass the restaurant, and when I walked in, I was confused by the layout and ambiance. It felt almost like a sports bar with the huge TVs, but we were seated more inside and it was fine. The cute touches of violets and candles were very pretty. Our service enabled an enjoyable, languorous dining experience. Usually, it’s $ 79 for 4 items, but for restaurant week, it was $ 50 for 3. It was totally worth it. I loved the start of warmed olives and the amazing bread dip(and aokay bread). So memorable! I think I was a tad underwhelmed by the starter cheese plate and the mushroom flatbread. In the future, I’d get something else. The cheese plate felt heavy and there were only three similar flavored cheeses. The lavender honey was delicious and the jam spread was great as well. Perhaps because it was February, the grapes were subpar. The mushroom flatbread was delicious, but for me, it’s just not something I would get. The Day boat scallop was amazing. Again. Perfectly cooked. The accompanying greens were great. The new york steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, and the accompanying roasted vegetables and mushrooms were PERFECT! J’s swordfish was delicately cooked and perfectly textured. Dessert-wise, I wasn’t too thrilled with the Crème Fraiche whatever, but the meyer lemon cheesecake was great. In general, i just LOVED their FRESHFRESHFRESH seasonal ingredients and their thoughtful combinations of them. The accompanying wines were smooth and again, very thoughtful. I would definitely come again ! PS: Late evening on a Monday night = so empty! love it :)

I went in for New Years Eve and they had a prix fixe six course meal… Tapped out by dish three. The food was INCREDIBLEANDSOSATISFYING. My main dish was the chicken with fingerling potatoes. Simple, but cooked and decorated to perfection. One of my favorite dishes was their homemade pasta with pork sauce — if I remember correctly — and it was such a neat combination of flavors. Ended the evening with a Chocolate Panna Cotta that I will dream about for the rest of my life. Note: this is the more casual, gastro-pubby version of The Restaurant at Meadowood. But, definitely worth it for the smaller cost.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Meadowood — The Grill, and everything was perfect. We had a four course meal and open bar with impeccable service and not one thing was amiss! We did all of our coordinating with Paul who was a total rockstar, and made sure everything went perfectly. We were lucky enough to be seated on the terrace, so we had the most amazing view. Set up: I added décor and brought in gifts which we just dropped off the afternoon of the rehearsal. When we showed up we were greeted immediately and brought to our table where all of my instructions on set up were followed through with to the smallest detail. From the very beginning it was stress free and fun! Service: There were 30 of us in attendance, so I think we had three waiters — and they were on their game big time! We had quite the drinking crew, so we kept them on their toes, but we always had what we needed it when we needed it! Food: Well, words aren’t enough. Everything was delightful. Everyone who attended the rehearsal is still raving about the food. A job well done by a very friendly and talented staff. A special thank you for making our rehearsal dinner aka: Casey’s Last Chance to Run(6⁄25) PERFECT!

I’ve been to their other restaurant on the premises and this is still just as wonderful. I came for a Father’s Day brunch and although they didn’t have a special menu, all the items we order were still very good. It all tasted very fresh. Afterall, they do grow 70% of their ingredients. Their menu was very normal and that’s where I was a little disappointed. I was hoping to see and try something different than the normal eggs and steak. However, my daughter ordered the chicken strips and it was the best chicken strips I’ve every had. She couldn’t finish it and we packed it to go. 2 days later, I heated it up and it was still good. The breading was not thick. It was perfectly crispy. Only when fresh. After re-baking it, it was not the same. I recommend this if you are looking for some no frill, nice view and relaxing meal. It’s not the most affordable, but you get what you pay for sometimes.

This is the kind of review that is a pleasure to write to relive the experience. When I think of my meal at The Grill at Meadowood, words that come to mind are ones like lovely. Transcendent. Gracious. And most importantly, perfectly executed. Unfamiliar with The Grill(vs. the Restaurant), we made a reservation about 3 hours in advance via OpenTable’s app and took a long drive up to the resort for Sunday Brunch. I was in the mood for anything made with eggs and wanted to ensure I’d have a good start to the day. Albeit a short morning, I left having one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Napa Valley. Entry to the Resort I’d never been to the Meadowood resort and wasn’t aware of the actual location of the The Grill. We made the 5 minute drive up through the grounds where we were directed by a staff member on where to go. I will say, the drive builds up a bit of anticipation. After passing the entrance and cruising past hillside pools and tennis courts, we arrived at the parking lot for the two restaurants. We were greeted by the staff in front of the restaurant who helped us find The Grill to the left of The Restaurant just past the croquet lawns. Walking up to the entrance and just within the resort grounds in general, the views are gorgeous. You’re immersed within these intimate spaces carved out in the mountainside, surrounded by nature, towering trees, it’s pretty incredible. You know you’re in Napa Valley, but you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere a little bit more special and private. As one might expect, there is an air of elegance here, but everything still feels very accessible. A menu posted outside gave a chance to look over our choices. Nothing out of left field, some traditional brunch items with a twist, and a few unexpected items. Immediately after entering, we were greeted by a host and seated out on the terrace overlooking the lawns, as requested in my reservation. I couldn’t help but notice the sideboard at the entry with glass jars of granola for sale. Kind of a sweet little takeaway, you’re willing to shell out $ 20 for a jar. The restaurant itself is fairly small but has ample seating out on the terrace, and not too many inside. Service and The Meal From start to finish, the service and meal were flawless. The staff wasn’t pretentious in the least and were completely chivalrous. The front of the house knows how important they are and seems to really make sure that you’re taken care of. As expected, our water glasses were never more than half empty, and the appetizers and entrees were brought out hot and were paced well. Globe Artichokes I started my meal with a glass of wine to battle the 80 degree heat and we shared the Globe Artichoke Hearts appetizer. Simply a a lightly fried basket of hearts served with a lemon aioli, these were very, very good. Not overly greasy, and perfectly crispy. The aioli really made the dish. Spring Omelet I love eggs and ordered the Spring Omelet at the waitresses’ recommendation. I usually don’t like to order an egg dish with vegetables because I always end up with some kind of watery, disappointing mess. All I have to say is wow wow wow, this omelet was fantastic. Made with egg whites, the omelet is filled with goat cheese and fresh vegetables from the Meadowood garden, topped with tomatillo salsa for some acidity. It was light but really creamy and fresh in flavor. Far beyond my expectations and didn’t leave me feeling overly full. You could really taste the flavor of each vegetable in the omelet, and inside and out, everything was perfectly cooked. A Special Condiment A small detail to mention, but noteworthy nonetheless. Instead of toast, I also went with the recommendation to substitute toast for an English Muffin(from the Model Bakery). This came with a side of butter and apple butter spread. The tiny ramekin of apple butter is something I continue to think about — for something so simple, it was very finessed and complex. I can’t say exactly what was in it, but I remember a sweet five-spice flavor that I can’t get over. Very thoughtfully done. – I can’t say enough positive things about our experience here. 1 glass of wine, an appetizer, and 2 entrees was around $ 95 with tip. This shouldn’t come at a surprise, but if you plan to indulge in the granola or something from the $ 21 fresh juice menu, prepare yourself for the rising bill at the start of your day. It was just brunch, and it’s not THE Restaurant at Meadowood, sure, but overall it was amazing in my book. Try it and enjoy!
