It’s a good BBQ joint but the brisket sandwich was a bit too charred. The pulled pork was good though.

Greeted with a smile the moment we walked in the door. Full rack of ribs and 4 small sides fed our family of 5 on two separate occasions. I’ve not had ribs this amazing anywhere west of the Atlantic. Cameron and Chelsea are the awesome owners of DUBS. Give them a try and I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you DUBS!

One of my favorite places to eat in town. The hush puppies are sooooo good! We go for ribs and are never disappointed.

Excellent BBQ, although the smoker outside the door is a little misleading. Manager told me their meats are cooked at another location and brought in. Nice people and excellent BBQ.

Food is fine but the service is horrible. It’s as if they’re annoyed you’re there to buy their food. I won’t be going back.

It smells right inside and there is a smoker parked outside the door. So far, so good. This place has a ton of space and inexplicably three entrance doors. It’s set a bit off Sunset, which gets good traffic, but it’s also kind of hidden, so maybe not so good there… the downside is that when this place is empty, it looks totally bare. I also question a lot of the arrangement of tables. The biggest tv of the place has exactly one set, which is on a 2-top, set right against a wall, facing it. There is a much smaller tv that more of the restaurant can see, but that arrangement, coupled with odd speaker placement is pretty puzzling. Also have various slogans touting it «best of the west» and so on as well as «where the ribs and sauce are boss», apparently an old holdover from the Q4U days, which I understand this place once upon a time in a former life, the only surviving, that I know of, offshoot from when T. was trying formerly trying to expand and franchise… So, with a pedigree like that, one expects some wowing Q — and probably sauce — but what we have here isn’t quite there. Let’s take it blow-by blow. It’s nice to have beer, but branch out more. When the best thing you have is Miller Lite, might be time re-evaluate there. I had the burnt ends, but what I got suggested to me they ran out and gave me some of the regular brisket also. I have no problem with that, actually and if I was rating this on brisket alone, it would be a 5. That was some damn fine brisket and in the running for the best I’ve had, actually. It didn’t need sauce and in fact, given their sauces, using them diminished it notably. Would that I could say that about the other meat I got, the ribs. The ribs, in fact, were in the lower tier or ribs I’ve ever had, very little meat and rather chewy/crunchy. The flavor was also horrid and I think it kind of started with the rub, which seemed similar to the brisket, where it worked well. It could have used a lot more smoke flavor as well. A good sauce would salvage it, of course, but unfortunately, there were no good sauces to be had there. We had a yellow Plochman’s type mustard sauce(why!), a sort of standard BBQ sauce that was overly ketchup-y and two sauces utilizing that bane of condiments, apple cider vinegar, so there was a lot of stinky foot aspect to things. What it really needed was a kickass Louisiana-style sauce, but there was none to be had in the place and I couldn’t bring myself to Crystal… so, for being boss, both ribs and sauce could not have been bigger misfires. Then we have the sides. Seasoned rice was acceptable. The sweet potato tots were also kind of novel. The greens… both the greens and the seasoned rice came in overflowing small black cups, which promptly spilled… guys, either get proper cups or just give people 2 of them filled normally. How someone is supposed to get a utensil in there to eat the stuff when it’s overflowing to begin with is a factor that evidently didn’t get too far in consideration. As to those greens… ok, look, you can’t make proper greens without some fat in there. This was greens and red chili pepper flakes and no ham hocks or pulled pork or bacon or anything to add fat, which made them bitter(and sad). If you’re a local BBQ joint, I really feel like you have to at least be at the level of the chains. In this case, this doesn’t rise totally to the level of Dickey’s in town, excepting that tremendous burnt ends. So, there’s definitely potential here, but for a place talking about being open since 2007, it makes me nervous. I don’t know how new the menu is, but if you haven’t gotten it together in 8 years… this will be one I’m keeping an eye on, but I’m not too excited to return in the near future.

The food is good but the woman cashier is just rude. It is SO annoying to go out and be treated poorly by an older woman. I will probably not go back because I am interested in spending money at a place that actually appreciates my business.

Good solid BBQ, not the best I’ve ever had but probably some of the best you will find in St.George. I enjoy the baby back ribs and the occasional pulled pork sandwich. I have one daughter who won’t eat BBQ because of the sauce. She will eat Dubs ribs because you put the sauce on yourself the way God intended.

It is always good. Nice to sit and talk with the family while you wait. Sometimes it is a little longer wait but knowing the food will be amazing is worth it! Love the family that runs and owns it.

No frills, a strip mall BBQ joint, but great southern style Q and sides. Customer service wasn’t great, but the food and prices made up for it. A different space and a few more helping hands would make a world of difference.

Super nice people & served really fast. The food was SUPERB! That is saying a lot because I am not a fan of bbq to much. This is what our family ordered. Hubby ordered carnivore sandwich with spare rib and brisket and loved it. I got the brisket sandwich and it was sooo good! Went with the original sauce and it was great flavor. Tried the sweet potato tots and loved them. Really liked the baked beans and chunks of meat in them. The potato salad was on point. Loved the sweet relish in it. Girls– Mac and cheese, chicken balls and really liked it. Overall… For sure go back. Awesome bbq! We waited for them to bake some more peach cobbler and the peaches were really good and hot with yummy melty ice cream on top! Great place!

Such a delicious stop after a long day of hiking. We were craving barbecue and after researching the area this is where we ended up, We arrived about a half hour prior to closing and they were so welcoming. Food is prepared well. Everything was perfect. The spicy sauce was just right. Customer service was also friendly.

The girl at the register(Kalei) is a terrible person who doesn’t want to be burdened by the job of working with customers. Part of our order was also forgotten and after being told they would bring it out, she never did. Find somewhere else to eat.

This is a review from someone who lived in Houston Texas for years and had some amazing BBQ. Having said that, this place is a very solid 4 stars from me, my husband and my brother. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was 5 stars. My husband and brother got brisket and ribs. Ribs were 4 stars brisket was 4 stars and would have been 5 if it hadn’t been a tad dry. Sides were all yummy. Probably the best BBQ in Utah that we have tried so far. It’s a solid 4 stars up against our favorite CorkScrew BBQ in Spring Texas. Holla!

I am a Meat-atarian, eat meat most of the time due to several food allergies. There ribs are off the hook! Cajun Fries uh give me 2 orders. Simply delightful and all sauces and meats are Gluten Free. I live in Salt Lake but would fly down here just to eat here again!

Too full to try the wings or brisket. The full slab came with 4 sides, which would have easily fed 4. There were only 3 of us, so we are having ribs again tomorrow. Very good food!

Actually went here after reading some reviews on Unilocal. This food was the best I’ve had since old Famous Daves was in town. My wife got the catfish and shrimp, I got the ribs and fries. I highly recommend either, as well as the Mac n Cheese. Those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while. I would not, however, recommend the sweet potato tater tots. The service wasn’t great, as some have mentioned, but I go for the food. I wasn’t disappointed! Definitely recommend.

DUB’s was DOPE!!! We has a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato tots. Yes. TOTS! The bread on the sandwich was FRESH super soft and delicious, the pulled pork itself was extremely flavorful and moist! And as good as I tried to make that sandwich sound, the wings AREEVENBETTER! 8 wings with DUB sauce(sweet and tangy, think wingers sauce but better) and the DUB Cajun fries. O.M.G. Stop reading and go to DUBs… Seriously, stop reading.

I’ve been eating at DUB’s for a few years now. I was there again last night. I’ve had ribs from all over the country and always thought Tony Roma was about as good as it got. I’ve also had some great ribs as appetizers in San Francisco that were very good. I’ve lived in Dallas and have had wonderful BBQ in several places there. To my mind DUB’s is far and away THE best BBQ I’ve ever eaten. The baby backs are full of meat, the BBQTIPS are sensational and the atmosphere is «friendly». On Friday nights they have live music, last night there was a sensational blues band. Family owned and wonderful people. Last night was as busy as I’ve ever seen it and I say good… this is one business establishment I would hate to see leave. Not often can I say this resturant is better than anything in Las Vegas. DUB’s is The Best. Rarely do I issue a 5 Star but it’s easy to do so at DUB’s. I would do 6 if it were available.

Food: — For The Smaller Appetite: Don’t let the name fool you, this was quite filling. I didn’t finish everything. It came with 3 ribs and 2 sides. I ordered the potato salad and paid an extra dollar for the sweet potato tater tots. – Ribs: were okay. It was tender enough but not fall-off-the-bone tender like I prefer. It tasted better with spicy BBQ sauce. The sauce was good but nothing out of the ordinary. And it was by no means spicy. 3⁄5 – Potato salad: was okay as well. I’ve had better. I ate half of it. 3⁄5 – Sweet Potato Tater tots: I was a little disappointed in the tater tots. Not because it wasn’t good but because it was hyped up so much I was expecting it to be amazing. I wanted to dip it in something but nothing complimented it well. I tried ketchup, ranch, and BBQ sauce. I ended up eating it dry. 4⁄5 –Service: Friendly. The cashier told us it would take about 10 minutes for us to get our food because of the wings(my husband ordered). We waited almost 20 minutes. Luckily we weren’t in a rush. 3⁄5 Final thoughts: Everything was okay. Nothing wowed me. But it wasn’t terrible.
