I am a local and as many times as I have tried to give loggers a chance, they have continued to disappoint. Do not order steak!!! The kitchen thinks everything is supposed to be cold in the middle. The wait staff is very attentive, but the presentation and quality is sub par. Oftentimes, the orders are completely wrong. Tonight, we received only one plate out of three that was even plated correctly. Just save yourself the hassle and avoid this place entirely. They truly try to get things correct, however, they always fall short. Kitchen staff is the weakness of the restaurant along with quality of food. Ultimately, good atmosphere, good wait staff, pedestrian food at a ridiculous price point for the quality.

Would loove to give this higher ratings however it seems everytime my husband and I order something is always messed up. We live in the area so my husband will order to go now and then. The last time though is prob the last sadly. We ordered a bacon bleu burger, a bacon cheeseburger, with tots and French fries and a chicken quesadilla. Always with extra logger sauce(liquid crack!) this is the second time where the bacon is extremely burnt. Not crispy burnt. Blech. Half my burger was burnt. I don’t get that. The chicken in the quesadilla tasted old and rubbery. I ended up picking it out. And they once again forgot the logger sauce!!! Such a bummer as they used to be on top of it and had good food :’(

Okay place to eat. Typical bar food and entrees. We came to the area to hike for the day and stopped to eat. We sat at the bar and ordered food. Cook was able to accommodate the sample platter to fit my partners vegetarian needs. Bartender was on top of meeting our needs. The bar has cool frost plates to place your beer on. We sat there for awhile and played the trivia game on the tv with other customers.

Food was good. The ruben was delish, sauce is on the side. The open face roast beef, a classic was okay. Cons Charge extra for Togo food Restrooms were terrible.

This is a nice casual place for lunch or dinner. The food is always ok but not extraordinary with the exception of the poutine. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive.

Food was reasonable, especially with kids eating for free! I got the steak special with the salad bar … steak was decent, salad bar was pretty basic but tasty enough. Waitress was great: very friendly and prompt … and we were an eight top with four kids! Lots of choices for the whole family!

The service here is very good, it’s pretty hard to not give Logger’s a top-rating. This place is all-around a good value and you can tell they care about getting the details right. The bar literally has built-in coasters that keep your beer cold. This place always seems to be busy even on a weekday morning for breakfast. I found out recently this is because weekday breakfast is ½ price! The food is good and the prices are fair if not a bit on the low side. and you can tell they keep it very clean without it feeling sterile. Too many times a joint like this will try to skimp on quality of service or food for one reason or another. not here.

Good service, friendly waitstaff. Good burgers. Bar selection limited. Drink glasses smelled like bleach before we mentioned it. Burgers were pretty good.

Not sure if this was sports bar or a restaurant? The service was friendly but did not the menu items too well. Ordered the Cajun Melt Burger. It was cooked well and had descent flavor. Not sure what they call Texas Toast and the my burger was not a half pound like they say? If I come back through I might try someplace else?

I was in the area and looking for a place with burgers and fish sandwiches and I found Loggers on Unilocal. This place is exactly how I expected it to be. It’s in a strip mall but has a cabin feel. There’s wood panels everywhere, and moose heads and salmon coming out of every wall. There were signs all over the place for their specials. «Kids under 10 eat free.» I remember that one, too bad I don’t have one of those. Also free beer between 11:45pm-12:00am, I could mosey on through and slam back a few. Design overall wasn’t really my cup of tea, but the menu looked decent. We arrived for a late lunch so it wasn’t busy, We chose where we wanted to sit and we were seated quickly. I was disappointed in their burger selection. The menu was big, but they only had one burger, and your other option was to build your own. A lot of patty melt options though. We settled on a build your own burger with American cheese w/fries, and a fish sandwich special substitute fries for cheese curds. The burger was okay. The cheese wasn’t really melted on it. It was greasy and filling so it did the trick. Nothing exciting there. The fish sandwich was GOOD. They had a special, a fish they don’t normally use, the server didn’t know what it was. We think it was cod. It was perfectly cooked, hot, flaky, and crunchy. Cheese curds weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they were quite tasty too. The service was great! Our server came by often and she was so friendly, so even though the food for the most part was blah, she made it a good experience.

Great place, lots of seating. All breakfast is ½ off Monday-Thursday and you get 3% off for paying with cash. Cheapest steak and eggs around. Great tasting food, and the server’s are very friendly. Definitely stopping again if I’m around.

This ambiance of this place is neat for a little bar, great TVs and pictures on the way, it’s just a shame the food didn’t match. Burgers were over cooked, fries were cold and the soda was served in 6 ounce glasses with the waitress barely around. I usually love the little restaurants north of White Bear Lake, but this one fell short.

It’s American bar food in a strip mall. This doesn’t necessarily qualify how good or bad a restaurant is, but it looks like a sporting goods store on the outside. Stepping inside is refreshing. The décor is heavy on wood. Simple. Lots of old photos with neat historical reference to their background. The place is basically a small sitting room and a small bar room. Both are nice, but neither is outstanding. However, the menu is limited. The choices are fairly mundane, and the taste isn’t necessarily great. I had a whiskey glazed chicken sandwich. It came as a grilled chicken breast on a bun with a plastic, covered cup of cold whiskey glaze on the side. I couldn’t believe that I had just stepped into a school cafeteria when my food arrived. Applebee’s is leagues better than that. Coffee was good, actually. That’s something.

A group of ten 9 girls visited here on on April 26th to watch the MN Wild Hockey game. The bar did the best they could to serve us but really didn’t seem all to excited to have us in their bar all night. We were probably the largest tab all night since there were only about 20 people in the whole place. All 9 of us had to sit on top of each other to try and watch the game on a 40 inch tv. The food was really good, and our waitress had a good personailty, but the place just isn’t set up for a larger party that wants to be there for a long time. They had a back room perfect for us but kicked us out and said they close that room and clean it. Not sure why you wouldn’t keep a room open for 9 paying customers who were in your bar for over 4 hours?

Nice place, our 3 visit in the past year. After a 5 minute wait between greeter and server We had a Philly sandwich with cold fries and a steak served with none of the fixing’s that we offered(choice of 3) and barely warm potatoes, they fixed the steak(no problem that will take two seconds), well 4 minutes later, steak as ordered and my potatoes were cold. Received new fries and a discount. I shall not return Charlie Lofgren

We were up in Amery, came through SCF and stopped at Logger’s. The décor is WI bar all the way. Very nice and clean– noticeably so in fact. We sat in a big booth and ordered a variety of items from a very attentive cheerful waitress. Buffalo wings were good, chicken strips crunchy and peppery; the cheese curds were crunchy and oozing — delicicious! The burgers were just dandy as was my son’s BLT. I must say, I had the best bowl of chili I’ve had at a restaurant. Resonably priced– for four with unlimited refills our tab was like $ 44 Next time through that area, we will definetly stop at Loggers.
