My favorite bar/​restuarant to go to downtown St. Cloud. Amazing atmosphere, great music, excellent and high-​class food that changes per season (not your typical greasy, bar food) and superb customer service. I would recommend everyone go here for either lunch, dinner, or drinks if you are in the area!

We stopped here after reading reviews and we are always trying local non-​chain eateries. I had the carnitas tacos with a mild poblano crema that was just this side of how much heat I can tolerate. (I am a wimp). Husband had the pickled Loon burger; he enjoyed the pretzel bun but said the burger itself was no better or worse than others he’s had. The tacos I had were very tasty, (loved the fresh cilantro as filling instead of romaine/​lettuce) but all that comes on the lunch order is two smallish tacos for $ 8.00. It needs a side to round out the meal. I had to steal a bunch of my husband’s tots.
Thus the 4 stars.

Ate here for the 1st time. I’d give the food 10 stars. Love to bring the cooks home with me. We had the pineapple guac, carnitas tacos, and mushroom beet Pattie. All were off the hook. Definitely my new downtown go to place.

First time to the Pickeled Loon. The friends I went with have been there many times.
Most of the food is not the normal food you’d see at a restaurant. I did, however, pick the normal Black Pepper Steak. It was so yummy! It came with a side salad, fingerling potatoes and some cooked cherry tomatoes. It was cooked exactly liked I liked it. I ate everything! My friends liked their food, too, but I don’t remember what they ordered. We were all very full.
My only negative was how long we waited for the server to order our food and to get our bill.
I would be very happy to return!

Actually, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. They have a number of healthy (delicious) options while still offering fried stuff! The owner was actually our server and was attentive and charming and VERY accommodating with our crazy substitution requests. I’ll go back here every time we are in St. Cloud:)

Unilocal has the wrong address for this establishment. It is 715 west St Germain, not 15 E St Germain. I don’t know how to have than correct it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. The appetizers were delicious and my seared pork belly tacos had a lot of flavor! We would definitely come back the next time we are in St Cloud! Delicious!

Ate here on the patio a couple of weekends ago. Service was great and I enjoyed the outdoor seating option. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was awesome. I may be a bit biased because of my love for pretzel buns, though. Lots of items on the menu I’m planning on coming back to try! YUM.

The folks who work here are absolute gems! They helped us move from bar to table as soon as there was an opening, fixed a wobbly table without being asked, refilled drinks as soon as they were empty and fetched our many annoying requests with a smile. Good cocktails and great local beer selection. Adventurous and delicious bar food. Plus all the guys have this adorable lumbersexual vibe going on. I hope everyone gets out there to support a local small business doing good work.

Really great spot!
Upstairs is a more college style party bar but the main floor has a great atmosphere and an awesome selection of food choices you can’t find anywhere else in Saint Cloud. Favorites I’ve tried so far are any of the burgers and the fried pickles!

Very good food. It was extremely slow when we went so it didn’t take long at all to get our food but it took forever to get the check. My girlfriend loved their twist on the Bloody Mary. And their take on fried pickles was surprising and delicious.
Other than the wait for the check, the Pickled Loon delivered a much-​needed change from the ordinary burger bar choices.
