Cobblestone has quickly worked its way into being one of our regular stops. Most of the time we hit this place up on Wednesdays or on a Saturday or Sunday. If we want a very chill place where we can go and sit outside to have good food and cold beer — this is it. Located in downtown St Cloud, this is definitely a quaint spot that has a local feel. It is part of the former St Cloud Hotel building and you can enter through the hotel entrance or via the street. Parking is done on the street and there are always spots open. The décor inside is a combination of old photos of the area and your typical bar /lounge items. There is seating for maybe 40 people and a wrap around bar with maybe 7 or 8 seats. The staff here is amazing. They are extremely friendly and take the time to make sure you understand the menu and are comfortable with your order. Food here is VERY fresh. The soups are made daily and there are often items off the menu that the server will recommend. In particular we like the paninis and the quesadillas. We’ve never had a bad item on the menu. Their wraps are great, too. Draft beers are 2 bucks all the time. The owner doesn’t believe in happy hour and said to me «I just price it cheap all the time». I wish more places thought like this. You can’t beat the overall feel of hanging out at Cobblestone. During the week and one weekend days they often have entertainment in the form of guitarist or a dj playing older songs. There are several groups who make this their regular meeting spot. In particular I can think of the various running clubs that meet here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the senior groups who meet on the weekends. If you are in the area or are a local, I would highly recommend dropping by for a beer and to sample some of the deli sandwiches. While you are there go check out the inside of the old hotel. It is a very cool place and I hope they turn it into something in the near future. There is another bar called the Hideout on the other side that is also not a bad place to have a beer. Thanks for reading!

This place is charming. It’s connected to the St. Cloud Hotel I believe the building has been around since 1912. They serve domestic and important bottles of beer, as well as the usual, tea, coffee, sodas. The menu is full of sandwiches and paninis with a few daily specials such as soups or other entrees. I ordered the roast beef and swiss on pretzel bread– It was quite good. The pretzel bread was tasty without being too salty. However the potato salad was a little sweet, it tasted pre-made out of tub. My partner got the chicken pot pie which was more like creamy chowder in a bread roll. He said it was okay but that it wasn’t chicken pot pie. He liked his greek side salad. To me it there seems to be some hits and some misses here. I’d come back for the roast beef on pretzel bread, and I’d try some other dishes. great little place in Downtown St. Cloud.
