Service was shotty the longer we were there. The hamburgers were cooked perfectly. Best burger I’ve had in a long time!

This is a great little bar to hang out, drink some cheap beer, there are always specials, and have a good burger and fries. Have a nice size menu and I’ve never been disappointed by anything that I’ve ordered here. Service is usually pretty quick, and they have a nice outdoor patio which does border the main roads but if you don’t mind a little traffic noise it’s nice to sit out there.

HORRIBLE! I thought I would give it one more try… but they never fail to disappoint. To start, the service is the absolute worst! You must have a lot of time on your hands at Sabby’s and you need to like your burgers moo-​ing.

Tried this place last night for the first time. Great burgers! I had bacon cheese burger on a pretzel roll and my boyfriend ordered the California burger. Waitress was friendly, service was fast, good food too.

Awesome burgers and great burger specials through the week. The food there has been great so far and each visit is more welcoming than the last.

Great burgers and sliders. Cheap beer and reasonably priced drinks. Small low key place that is always welcoming.

Love karaōke here. But the last few times I have been here, the bartender gave less than stellar service. I thought the first time was a fluke, but two times in a row? Odd. Too bad, b/​c this bar could be great!

This place is cool! They have a wide variety of different burgers on the menu, all at a good price. The setup is small and homey, makes me wonder how the atmosphere is on a Friday or Saturday night when people are getting rowdy.
The setup is pretty on point. A big bar with TV’s is good for one or two people, or there are numerous tables on the floor with even more TV’s around the room. It would be good for watching a game I would think, albeit in closer quarters.
I got the BBQ burger (Sweet Baby Ray’s) …comes with lettuce, tomato, onion straws, and it was really filling. The seasoned fries were also good. The happy hour specials just add to the cool factor. The service was very good as well.
I will definitely be back and wreak some havoc!

I always love coming here. The food is great and the drinks are cheap. It’s just sometimes the place is a little too loud. It’s kind of small and cramped, but it still works really well.

If you’re looking for a good burger at a decent price? Sabby’s is where you want to be.
The 1/​3-​pound burgers are made fresh and the beer is decently price.
The only thing Sabby’s is missing is Michigan beer.

Good lunch special. Burger, fries and a shell of beer 5 bucks… But the staff is always rude and could care less about smiling or being friendly. It’s happened past 3 times we went there… Will be trying other places for lunch… Get with the program sabbys your not that cool.

Service is horrible. I am completely disgusted about the way they treat regular customers. We were there last night drinking, eating and having a good time and planning on spending most of the night there. They put a reserved note on our table as we sat there but told us we would not have to move if we were still there at 8. At 9 they asked the 5 of us sitting at a 6 top to move. My husband and I frequent this establishment several times a month, and our friends are there several times a week. To ask loyal customers who come there on a regular basis to move so someone else can have the table is rude and frankly wrong. The reserved party already had access to the main 8 top near the door and at 8pm the booths and 6 top to the right of that table were free so why weren’t those table reserved for them instead of asking us to move? The the waitress had the nerve to say they needed our table for paying customers? Really? We spend hundreds there and our friends spend thousands! The food is good and l like the atmosphere but the waitresses sure have a problem with service, even when they aren’t busy. Last night was the final straw. We are now taking our business elsewhere and I refuse to ever step foot in this establishment again. I am also encouraging all my friends to stay away from Sabby’s. If you treat your loyal customers like turds then you deserve to lose business.

It only gets better, they now have Piedmontese (?) beef hamburgers available and boy are they yummy.
Ordered one on a pretzel roll (also yummy) ²⁄₃ lb for $ 9ish which included fries and a beer. I wish I could have finished it but just couldn’t stuff it in anymore, well not after a cup of good warm chili to start things off.
Friendly staff and very clean restrooms etc.
Great daily specials, todays was filet and a lobster tail, pot, soup and salad for $ 14, how can you beat that???
They have a very nice patio to dine al fresco but was a bit chilly for that today.
I’m so happy they are around the corner from me.

The food was OK but the atmosphere was awful. Bad, loud music. People smoking cigars (illegally) on the patio. I think we’ll be going back to our old standby, Gilbert’s next time.

Good prices. Nice outdoor patio area. Average food. Poor service. Waitress was kinda rude, forgot orders, did not seem apologetic about mistakes made either.

I don’t know why I haven’t spent more time here. What a great little stop in St. Clair Shores. Stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a beverage and a burger and it was just perfect. They have a nice patio, great burger, good drinks. The service was good and pretty fast. It’s worth coming back and I plan to do just that.

This week’s BBQ was a request from a bartender we had met at another Tavern. Sabby’s Lounge in Saint Claire Shores. Sabby’s is a fairly small place with a pretty nice patio area. It seemed like a low key spot during happy hour with a mixed crowd. This place was adorned to the gills with trophies, I didn’t take time to pay attention for what though. The wait staff was very friendly and pretty good about taking care of us. Scrolling through the menu my heart went a blaze when I seen they were sporting a rueben burger. Two of my favorite things to eat with Beer! My partner settled on the Dickster’s 4 alarm burger (go figure on why) that claimed to be «hot as hell.“Both burgers will cost a guy a cool $ 6.50 a piece so the price is fairly tame. Bud Light pint during the happy hour was a cool $ 1.75.
The Rueben Burger was ¹⁄₃ lb with corned beef, swiss, Russian dressing, and coleslaw.

Sabby’s is a cool place that seemed to have cool people, Nicole and Samantha were super nice waitresses. This is a place to for sure visit, but as another patron suggested, try the steak sandwhich. Too bad this isn’t Steak sandwhich quest though…

Decent prices, average food, good service.
Was there for dinner one night. I had the frisco patty melt and wife had a regular cheeseburger.
Patty melt was slightly below average and wife liked her burger a lot. Other people in the party seemed to like their food okay. Only hiccup is that someone’s wings came out looking, and tasting, burnt. They were sent back and another batch came back out alright.
Service was good, never had to wait for a refill or the check.

My rating is strickly based on the burger since I have only had carry out from here.
I thought the burger was just OK, pretty much an average bar burger. I have heard from a few people that it was the best burger in town, but I thought it was just OK.

Sabby’s Lounge is a typical neighborhood bar on Metro Detroit’s Eastside, located at the corner of 10 Mile Rd and Harper Ave. in St. Clair Shores.
On an average weeknight, there are regulars and a few locals stopping in to catch a Tigers baseball game on one of several TVs or to grab a bite to eat at the bar.
The bar has a fun, laid back atmosphere. It seems like just about anybody would be welcome here. I haven’t tried the food, but what I’ve seen looks good.
Sabby’s also has a friendly staff and a jukebox to play your favorite songs.
