I will start this review by releasing a type of disclaimer: I noticed others were upset at the customer service — notably the female owner who they say is rude — but I am focusing more on the produce and other items available here. The woman is a small talker and it’s just the way it is, but if I can walk out of there with five bags for less than $ 10, that works for me and I can deal with one minute of short-winded conversation.(The employees are pretty nice and help out immediately, if that helps any.) There is an abundance of produce, flowers and plants available at this location. It’s like a hidden area off of Greater Mack where you don’t even realize such items are available at a respectable price and have good quality. I thought the prices were pretty standard for the most part, by the way, and the items available were in good condition. They have all the standard fruits and veggies, and they even have chili peppers and cactus pears. You can buy basil and other spices, too, or you can leave with a whole flower pot. It’s nice having a local farmer’s market that provides good access to locals and gives you a reason to support local businesses. ***FYI: Using a credit card cost a $ 1 surcharge… BRINGCASH!!***

I Don’t think they want your business. At least that’s how they act. Actually I believe it’s the owner who is the one who needs a few classes on customer service or basic people skills. I was there about 20 minutes and every time I saw her interact with a customer she was short with them and talked with an attitude. She never smiled once! I pointed it out to my Mom who I was there with and she said she is like that all the time. Also, prices are very confusing and not labeled right. And when you ask how much something is, you get a snippy answer just short of an eye roll. Don’t waste your money here, take it somewhere where they actually work for your business and want it. You’ll save money, too!

Amazing customer service and some of the highest quality plants around town. My garden is always a success when I start here.

These guys were great. I love their flowers and herbs, high quality. They were so helpful in helping me purchase my flowers, Veggies, herbs and dirt. Very good experience, the two ladies that work there were very knowledgeable. I had a real good experience during a very busy Memorial day weekend.

I completely agree with the previous comment. The lady with the very short hair is the biggest problem. I believe she is an owner. She is very rude and has a big mouth. I will not be returning.

Over-priced and not nice. I would shop there for convenience and location, but not anymore. They do have good produce, plants and products but prices are not reasonable. The worst is the unpleasant ladies that work(or own) the market. The waver between unpleasant and mean. I might stop to see if my complaints are softened because it would be really nice to have a friendly neighborhood market to support.

We wait for Greenhouse Growers to get tomatoes every summer. When they get local tomatoes, we overdose. Until then he has hot house tomatoes from Leamington, which are often the best alternative until the summer crops come it. They keep a list of the local food choices by the register. Get there early for the fresh vegetables of the day. Some of the quantities are small and when they’re gone, that’s it. The owner worked at Eastern Market, and he often gets what he can in bargain fruit and vegetables. He buys in smaller quantities then a large store would need to bother with. The price is often good, but it becomes obvious the reason is that they’re very ripe and will go bad soon. As long as you realize that and are prepared to eat or use up the purchase, the bargain stuff is good. The main business is plants for the garden. They open about Easter every year and close after Christmas. The quality is good and the folks working there can give good suggestions on what to plant where and how to care for it.
