This is the kind of place I stop in when I need to get my mom or grandma a gift OR it is Christmas time and I need something decorative. I’ve bought some cute wreaths for myself here but this is really the kind of place I go to when I’m shopping for someone else.
You may remember this place as the Holiday House or just «the shop with all the Christmas things» on Main Street St. Charles. There’s a lot of other things here and the service is always great. You can get lost going from room to room and there’s just so much to see.

I have been a longtime customer of the Flower Petaler. They offer the most exquisite floral decorations, whether it is one that is ready for purchase or a custom design. They also offer a wide range of home décor items. In addition, they offer in home decorating services, especially for the holidays. I have had the Flower Petaler decorate my home for over 10 plus years and each year they out do the year before. The attention to detail is impeccable and it definitely puts you in the holiday spirit. My home is always left spotless after the design team is finished and I find the Flower Petaler to be very affordable for their services. I highly recommend them for all of the services they have to offer. I live in Chesterfield where I have an abundance of home décor stores to choose from but I always gravitate to my favorite shop on Main Street… The Flower Petaler!

A great place for decorative pieces for the home, as well as many varieties of Santas made by Karen in Lake St. Louis (I forgot her last name).
My college chum shopping partner makes lots of Christmas garlands, wreaths and other decorations, so she LOVES to get little doo-​dads to spiff up her own creations or make new ones. Good for her; she’s got the creativity. I simply watch in amazement.
So, for the not-​so-​creative (me!) there are plenty of readymade decorations of all shapes and sizes. Unique and gloriously beautiful pieces!
What last year were the last two rooms packed with Christmas ornaments — is now just one last room with some Christmas ornaments and lots of Snow Babies figurines; and Snow Village, Department 56 and other brands of «village» pieces so you can assemble your own winter wonderland.

I stopped by to pick up the cutest bridal shower present in the world for a good friend of mine… it’s a collection of wedding themed Christmas ornaments. It’s really so cool– completely handmade, and there’s a bride, groom, church, wedding bell, and cake. I’ve had my eye on it for forever but was saving it until this particular friend had her shower. She absolutely loved it!
If you’re into crafts, you’ll enjoy this place too. The staff is very helpful and it’s definitely a fun stop if you’re doing some shopping on Main Street. Oh, and during the holidays, it doesn’t get any more adorable.
