McDonald’s

I stopped in there the other night to get dinner for my daughter who was doing homework at 9:00 and had not eaten. I also grabbed dinner for my wife and myself. The fries were cold and limp. The worst part was we live on the opposite side of town and when we got home we found out my daughter’s 10 piece chicken nuggets were not in the bag. I called the store and Elizabeth said I could come back and pick them up and to ask for her. When I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and told them my story they told me to pull up to the window. I pulled up to the window and told my story again asking for Elizabeth. They told me to pull up to the pick up window. When I pulled up there and asked for Elizabeth the young man handed me a bag. I asked him if I could get the whole meal replaced. He told me the fries were in the bag. I asked for the drink also and he told me that since I had gotten a drink earlier that he could not give me another. Again, I asked to see the manager. He closed the window, turned and poured a new drink and handed it to me without saying a word.
I was a manager for McDonald’s when I was younger and worked for both owner/​operators and McDonald’s Corporation. The manager should not avoid customers, especially after telling me to ask for her.
I decided to try to help this McDonald’s to be a better store so I stopped by to visit Yanni Management that owns this and other stores in the Geneva, Batavia, St. Charles area. I was surprised that not only was there no one there to hear my story at 4:00 in the afternoon, but the receptionist seemed less than willing to take my name and number for someone to call me.
Needless to say, I never received a call from anyone at Yanni Management.
I will share this story with others and am surprised that with all of the inspections that McDonald’s used to do, that this store is not able to sustain the lever of Quality, Service and Cleanliness that McDonald’s is supposed to strive for.

As said by all other reviews this McDonalds is pathetic which is a shame because its brand new. Almost every visit has had one issue or another. They make many errors and the wait is often way too long! So sad to pull up to a window and have the confused employee ask you what your order was? Just horrible wait times, service and attitudes from the employees here. Obviously poorly managed.
This is the honest truth; The performance of this location has made me chose other dinning options than McDonalds when on the road or out and about looking for a quick meal. This opinion is based on many visits since the place reopened last summer.
Attention McDonalds Corporate, this location is damaging your brand!!!

I am not one to have high expectations at a fast food restaurants. I am also not one to write a review that isn’t positive. However, I have had far too many orders given to me incorrectly at this location. Check your order before you leave. As for myself, I will not be going back to this location.

The employees here are idiots. I went there on Friday evening around 8pm and ordered two of their new Chorizo Burritos that are part of their nationwide campaign that state they are available ‘anytime’ and even say that on their menu board. The employee looks at me confused and says that those are only available during breakfast. I replied about the ads and also pointed to the menu board. He then went and spoke with the manager who told me that the menu board and the advertising was incorrect and refused to sell me them.
These people CERTAINLY are not worthy of making anywhere near the proposed increased minimum wage of $ 13+…

It is McDonalds, so not much you can say.
This location seems to have a difficulty with getting orders correct, however on the flip side, the wait in drive thru here seems much shorter than others.

Not going to lie, I really didn’t want to ever review a McD’s…especially with a not so pleasant review… but here it is.
The drive thru line was ridic long, so I figured I would just run into the store, grab my McMuffin Meal (and game pieces!), and be on my merry way.
So I walk in and wait. and wait. and wait. There are 2 people in front of me, but no one is helping either. There are about 10 workers cooking the food, but only TWO running the drive thru and the registers!!! During the morning rush?! Are you freaking kidding me?
Oh yeah, and they were way more focused on the speed of service for the drive-​thru guests than the ones inside the restaurant.
So finally I get to the register and Heather asks what I want to to order. She doesn’t smile. She looks unhappy. Look, I get that you’re working a thankless job at McDonald’s…but at least you have a job. There are many people who don’t have them. And you work in customer service so smile a little bit.
I ask to make sure that I’m getting game pieces on the items I order, and she just stares blankly at me. Then I finish my order and she stares blankly at me again… a minute later (like I’m planning on getting something other than the meal) she finally asks «is that all?» Well yeah. One person, one meal… right?
So she tells me my total and I pay. Then she scoots me along without handing me my drink cup. I politely asked if I could get the cup. She RUDELY barks at me, «In a minute.»
Finally she gives me the drink cup, and at this point, I’ve decided that Monopoly Game be damned, I’ll never visit this McD’s again. There’s a pleasant staff at the Dunkin Donuts down the road, and they’ll be getting my breakfast business henceforth.
GRRRRRRR!

They always mess stuff up when they’re not even busy. Whatever, they’re open 24 hrs and are located 3 minutes from my house. The only time I really need them (after a night of drinking), they get the job done…

Typical McDonald’s. I usually only go through the dive thru except when the 18 wheeled delivery truck is blocking the drive thru, that’s a pain to deal with and will cause me to go else where. Often times late at night the drive thru can get backed up to 10 cars or more. Sometimes I crave the Sweet Chili sauce for the chicken nuggets though. Cheers!
