I was there to celebrate my 65th birthday. Although Sandy was a good hostess overall, I was very disappointed in my experience. The sitting room had too much stuff and furniture, which made it look cluttered. It was dusty. The first night it was too hot to sleep. The next night it was too cold to sleep. My room was decorated nicely, but also clutter. I found things ‘stuffed’ beside a cabinet. The room was dusty and dirty. I cannot download the photos I took of my bathroom. The floor had hair on it, countertop was dirty and I’m assuming the toilet had not been cleaned either. The shower floor was BLACK, their was a bar of old soap on one of the shelves, which was also BLACK. The other shelf was BLACK, and under the door slide was BLACKMOLD! My daughter’s room was nicely decorated also, but there was toothpaste from the last guess all over the sink. Breakfast was wonderful, but the hot water decanter was filthy. I have stayed in at least 20 B&B’s over the years and EVERYONE was immaculate! For $ 650 I would expect THEBEST! Please don’t ignore the negative posts. I experienced the same things. I would NOT stay there again!

OK, but could be better. Not central to historic area, about 11 block walk, but it is in a quiet neighborhood in the Frenchtown area(easy walk to Eco-Park). Food fabulous. We were Katy Trail bicyclists, and owner(very talkative and opinionated…) not very supportive of securing bikes safely; great bike shop, Gear & Grinds, nearby, though. You can probably do better in a B&B in St. Charles.
