If I could rate this shop no stars, I would. The customer service was absolutely terrible!
When I first arrived in St. Augustine, I walked down St. George Street and noticed a cute little tobacco store and I went in unsure of what to buy for my husband. When I asked for help, the guy who offered was extremely rude. He was very disrespectful and sarcastic when I would ask him questions. It states on their website that they take a very serious attitude toward selling their cigars. Attitude is right!
I also overheard him talking with a local (assuming she worked downtown) and words cannot even describe how awful he was to her. I overheard him call her a C**T and told her that he was not going to sell her DI**! All because she forgot to bring her identification (even after going back to get it for him). I had never heard such slander from someone whose job is to help customers – not treat them like garbage.

I enjoy smoking fancy cigars a couple times a month, and I’ve heard about a number of places down near St. George Street that offer up quality cigars, but I decided to take a walk into this one, and I’m glad I did! First thing about this location, you need to keep your eyes peeled. Like many of the other cigar stores downtown, it’s located in one of those little strip mall shops, and you can’t really see it while you’re walking down the street. It’s located in the very back to the left, but I believe there’s a small sign out front that says «cigars», so be on the lookout.
The store itself is a pretty good size store. The first half, when you walk in, is where the counter is located, along with a some cigarettes, and tobacco for rolling smokes. There’s also some rolling papers, some bongs, and tons of cigar accessories, including cutters, punches, and lighters. There is a TON of different stuff for sale, you can definitely find what you’re looking for.
The last half is, of course, the meat and potatoes, the walk-​in humidor. As you walk in, all the cigars are arranged in alphabetical order by brand name, and they’re ALL here. Personally, I love the Monte Cristos, I also saw Padrons, Rocky Patels, Romeo and Juliets, Oliva, and TONS more. The selection of brand names is HUGE, and the selection of the sizes is also quite extensive. The prices range from just a few dollars to a few hundred dollars, so you can definitely find something within your price range. Now for my favorite part– every time I have been in the store, as soon as I walk in the humidor, one of the employees there walks in with me, offering up choices and education on the different types of cigars. I have my favorite, but I like to branch out and try different smokes, and the employees always give me GREAT recommendations. Just let them know what size, taste, draw, etc you like, and the price range you’d like to spend, and they’ll take care of you. Very friendly and they know their stuff!
The only downside to shopping here, is of course that it’s downtown St. Augustine, which means parking is a f’n nightmare. I usually go down during the day, when there’s plenty of parking, but you’ll have to pay for it. If you go at night, the parking is free, but sometimes a little harder to come by. Either way, it’s totally worth it to me, I’ve been to many cigar stores, and this one is top-​notch. I will not be shopping for cigars anywhere else, and if you’re in the market for some good smokes, stop by this place and give ‘em a try. Great selection, great prices, great accessories, and great knowledge and service — doesn’t get ANY better than that!
